Rubbish attitude and wrong number plate:
Purchased a Seat Ibiza from their Gillingham branch in March with delivery miles on. Car wasn’t clean on collection and their pressure washer wasn’t working so I was told if I get it washed I can send in the receipt and they would pay it. Which I did …. Guess what never repaid despite 3 emails . A few months later I realise the reg plate on the front is incorrect showing 25 instead of 75! Could have been prosecuted for that ! Had to get that changed pronto so told them about it and again said they would pay for the new plate, that was it ! Despite further emails not paid . So I wouldn’t touch this company with a barge pole.

I’m very disappointed with my experience with JCB Škoda Worthing.
Unfortunately, the wrong car was ordered in the first place, which caused unnecessary delays and frustration. When I tried to discuss the situation in person, the Business Manager refused to meet with me as he was too busy.
I was then assured that a replacement/placement car would be reordered within an agreed timeframe, but this deadline was also missed.
Overall, the communication and handling of the situation have been extremely disappointing. Mistakes can happen, but I would expect a dealership to take ownership of them, communicate clearly, and follow through on the commitments made to the customer.
Based on my experience, I would think carefully before using this dealership and would expect much better customer service from a Škoda dealer.
In the end I cancelled the order as I felt I could not trust them

I'd recommend job group for their service department at Ebbsfleet.
Thank you for truly outstanding service.
Excellent service, friendly staff.
I had my first 2 year service at Cupra Crawley today.
I wasnt expecting very much after certain reviews however, my personal experience with them, was excellent!
I was greeted nicely by friendly informative staff.
I waited while my service was done, given the option of free coffee, seated area to wait with access to toilets.
The service was quick and efficient, done within a couple of hours, my baby came back looking like a new pin!
Thank you to those involved today.
JCB Cupra Ashford poor maintenance service
JCB Cupra Ashford
Dealership totally overwhelmed by volume of service and warranty customers - long waits for them to answer phones, left messages go unanswered, promises to call you back not fulfilled, when you do get to speak to someone to book your car in - you have to wait many weeks for a slot.
On the second time i dropped car with them for warranty work (which i had been told would be done in a day) it was clear they werent expecting the car in.
2 days later they told me that car would be ready the week after.
SHAMBOLIC. Which is a shame as the car is basically good.
Sort it out !
Ongoing Fault, No Resolution, No Communication – Shockingly Poor Service from JCB Dacia & Dacia UK
My experience with JCB Dacia Rainham and Dacia Customer Services has been nothing short of appalling.
My car is under a year old and has had a persistent speaker fault since early summer. The speaker emits a constant noise that makes the sound system unusable and even affects the parking sensors — a basic safety feature. The fault has now got worse, and as of September, the radio doesn’t work at all. I can only use CarPlay, and even that only works when the outside temperature is below 18 degrees, which is ridiculous for a modern vehicle.
The dealership has been consistently unhelpful:
I was first told a replacement speaker would be ordered.
This then changed to “a software update will fix it.”
When I asked for proof of this update or the bulletin they claimed existed, nothing was provided.
I was told the update would be released end of July / beginning of August.
It is now September, and I have had no contact from the dealership since 14/07/2026.
Every time I do manage to speak to someone, I’m told the delays are because they are short staffed — which has become the default excuse for everything.
I’ve had to chase every update myself.
I’ve even had to borrow a friend’s car because the noise gives me headaches.
Dacia Customer Services have been equally disappointing:
I raised a formal complaint with Dacia, providing full details and asking for clarity, timelines, and accountability. Their response was simply to contact the dealership — the same dealership that hasn’t contacted me in nearly two months.
They repeatedly tried to call me on the wrong number, despite me telling them multiple times that my number had changed. Their latest update (21/08/2026) was yet another apology and yet another “we’re waiting for the dealership to respond.”
So I’m stuck in a loop where:
The dealership won’t contact me.
Dacia won’t do anything except ask the dealership to contact me.
The fault is getting worse.
My car is becoming unusable.
And nobody — at any level — is taking ownership.
A nearly new car should NOT be unusable due to a fault that nobody seems willing or able to fix.
The lack of communication, the contradictory information, the refusal to provide technical documentation, the worsening fault, and the constant “we’re short staffed” excuse is disgraceful. I’ve never experienced customer service this poor from any manufacturer.
I would strongly caution anyone considering buying a Dacia or using JCB Dacia Rainham for servicing. If something goes wrong, you may find yourself in the same position as me — stuck with a faulty car, no timeline, no accountability, and no support.
A Revolutionary New Definition of “Full…
A Revolutionary New Definition of “Full Service History”
I’d like to applaud this dealership for completely redefining the automotive industry.
It is a groundbreaking approach to selling cars — one that certainly inspires confidence in the vehicle, the dealership, and the accuracy of everything else in the listing.
This was especially impressive after making an 8-hour round trip to buy the car, only to discover that “FULL SERVICE HISTORY” apparently has a rather different meaning here.
The car was advertised online with a “FULL SERVICE HISTORY”. The salesperson also looked me in the eye and confirmed this. I assumed that meant digital or physical documentation showing the car’s maintenance records. How delightfully old-fashioned of me.As it turns out, under this dealership’s cutting-edge business model, “FULL SERVICE HISTORY” apparently means: “We had a chat with a ‘geezer’ at an independent garage who verbally promised he serviced it every year, but when we asked for actual evidence, he completely ghosted us.” Truly, a triumph of faith over paperwork.
When my calls and emails went unanswered, I exercised my statutory Short-Term Right to Reject the vehicle on Day 7 under Section 20 and 22 of the Consumer Rights Act 2015 on the grounds that the car was not as described.
Once escalated to a director, an entirely new level of creativity and top-drawer posturing was unlocked. I was informed that they were considering a possible deduction for “excessive mileage.
”Wait… what ? Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, a consumer is entitled to a full refund with zero deductions when exercising the Short-Term Right to Reject within the first 30 days. Ironically, most of the mileage was simply from the 3.5-hour journey home from the dealership. Once rejected, the vehicle was not driven again and sat completely stationary, documented by date-stamped photographs.I repeatedly asked them to identify the specific legislation or legal authority they were relying upon for this proposed deduction. Astonishingly, this groundbreaking precedent has yet to be shared with me.
They continued to reassure me that I would receive a “full refund”, while simultaneously developing what appeared to be a severe allergic reaction to putting the actual refund amount in writing. Perhaps someone stole the numbers off their keyboard.
Eventually, after much persistence, someone managed to figure out which keys to press. Unfortunately, the amount was once again subject to unauthorized deductions contrary to standard statutory rights. So, despite all the assurances, nothing was actually resolved.
The car was safely parked and fully available for collection, exactly as agreed. Yet somehow, simply providing a day and time for collection proved surprisingly difficult. After 14 days of stalling, a collection date was finally provided.
So, if you plan on buying a car from these visionary pioneers, I highly recommend hiring a forensic accountant, a solicitor, and a psychic to verify the service history before handing over your money.
To be fair, the receptionist was pleasant and the coffee was genuinely very nice.
I know you “take customer complaints seriously”, but to save your social media team the hassle of replying: you failed epically this time.
Unprofessional, disrespectful service
I had been communicating with them about buying a new car. At first, they seemed helpful and professional, but after a few back-and-forth emails, they told me they didn’t want to go through with the deal, which left me in the middle of the process and forced me to look for another dealer.

Appalled by the hostile treatment from a Sales Executive named Ashley Burchett at JCB Kia Bromley. We booked test drives for both a Niro and a Sportage. While he was initially just indifferent, he became completely dismissive after the first test drive when we asked to try the Sportage. He made excuses about staffing, and then subjected us to aggressive financial interrogation, questioning if we could even manage the payments. When we mentioned competitive market rates from Carwow, he became hostile, flatly refused to do business with us, and began whispering about us to his colleague. We felt entirely profiled, discriminated against, and disrespected as customers. Avoid dealing with him.
JCB CUPRA Crawley
JCB CUPRA Crawley
I’ve just had one of the worst dealership experiences I’ve ever encountered at JCB CUPRA Crawley. I arrived after being told by both roadside recovery and the dealership themselves to bring the car in. When I got there, I was greeted with, “Why are you here?” — as if I’d just turned up unannounced.
I explained I’d been instructed to come in, and they bluntly told me I shouldn’t have because they “had no space.” The attitude was unbelievable. No apology, no attempt to help, just rudeness and dismissal from the moment I walked in.
To make matters worse, I was then told there’s a seven‑week wait just for a diagnostic, with no date available at all. Not even the repair — just the diagnostic. The staff made no effort to explain, reassure, or even speak politely. It was genuinely shocking how unhelpful and abrasive they were.
I’ve had a long line of issues with CUPRA, but JCB Crawley is by far the worst part of the experience. Their behaviour gives the brand a terrible name. The only people who showed any professionalism were the recovery team — everyone at the dealership was rude, dismissive, and completely uninterested in helping.
I would strongly advise avoiding this dealer. They simply do not care.
JCB Tunbridge Wells
I have recently purchased my lovely new car from JCB Tunbridge Wells. Anthony was friendly, approachable and extremely knowledgeable about the car and VW as a car manufacturer. There is a lot of technology within the car which I was not familiar with (having owned a very old car) which was a little daunting however Anthony demonstrated / explained how everything works which really helped to alleviate my anxieties as a self proclaimed technophobe!
I had a minor issue with the car following purchase of the vehicle which Anthony resolved very quickly and efficiently! Overall, I found the level of customer service to be very high and I would recommend JCB Tunbridge Wells to anybody thinking of buying a VW vehicle. I would not hesitate to purchase another vehicle from JCB Tunbridge Wells in the future however I’m hoping that I won’t need to do this for a while. Thankyou for all of your help Anthony.
Very Poor After Sales Service and…
Very Poor After Sales Service and Customer Care- BEWARE!!!
I purchased a new Dacia Sandero Stepway and collected it on 1 May 2026. Unfortunately, my experience with JCB Group has been disappointing from the outset.
The original sale had to be taken over by a sales executive because the salesman had not completed the process correctly. As a goodwill gesture, the manager agreed to reimburse me for a full tank of petrol. I subsequently filled the car up, emailed the receipt to the sales executive, and received confirmation that it had been received. However, after that, all communication stopped and the reimbursement was never processed. Eventually I received an email from Chris Doll advising he would transfer the money immediately (some 4 months after I sent the receipt in)- this did come into my account but no explanation as to why it had taken so long or even an apology- nothing, not even a follow up email!!!
I submitted multiple online complaints and even Renault Customer Services attempted to contact JCB on my behalf, yet I still received no response. Despite numerous emails and telephone calls to the dealership, my attempts to resolve the issue were ignored.
To make matters worse, dashboard warning errors later appeared, along with a fault with the vehicle's radio. The car was returned to JCB for repairs, and I was promised regular updates and call-backs regarding progress. Instead, I heard very little and waited three weeks before finally getting the vehicle back. The radio fault remained unresolved, and nobody at JCB could explain what work had actually been carried out. In the end, it was Renault, not JCB, who informed me that the fault could not be identified and therefore nothing had been done.
What has disappointed me most is not just the unresolved issues, but the complete lack of communication, accountability, and customer care throughout the process. From the sales team to senior management, my emails, calls, and complaints have largely gone unanswered. A working vehicle, effective after-sales support, and basic communication should be the minimum customers can expect when purchasing a new car.
I have now escalated my concerns directly to senior management in the hope that someone will take responsibility and address these issues ( Chris Doll, Paul Jacobs and Jonathon Bischoff) . Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage anyone considering purchasing a vehicle from JCB Group to carefully consider the level of after-sales service they may receive.
I would not choose to buy from JCB Group again.
Absolute worst Kia showroom I have ever…
Absolute worst Kia showroom I have ever experienced. Save your time and go elsewhere.
My experience here was appalling from start to finish. The sales staff exhibit zero basic etiquette, manners, or professionalism. When we asked a couple of times to test the adaptive cruise control—a safety feature that is genuinely important to our purchasing decision—a salesperson named Warren was outright dismissive, rudely telling us that "we can't test every feature."
When we firmly explained that this specific feature matters to us, Warren had the absolute audacity to snap back, rudely telling us that "turning up on time is important too." The condescension and lack of basic respect were staggering. On top of that, it was completely obvious that inventory vehicles are being used for employees' personal daily driving, raising huge red flags about the true condition and wear-and-tear of the cars on the lot.
When we sought help from the manager, Simon, the situation only worsened. He mirrored the exact same poor attitude and made zero effort to de-escalate or address the situation. Leadership here is non-existent, and the toxic culture runs from the top down. Do not waste your time or your hard-earned money at this dealership—drive a little further to a nearby Kia showroom that actually respects its customers
JCB gillingham
My car was serviced there and the invoice noted the front discs and pads were worn and advised replacing.
I had to keep ringing JCB for a price to replace. In the end I went to another garage got fed up chasing.
Forward a couple of weeks the dashboard warning came up need to visit the workshop I did this it was the SOS device. The service rep said probably needs a new battery. But will need to do investigation £168
The car went in on 5 /8 /26 at 08 .45 I got a call at 15.30 pm we investigated it and needs a back up battery , the screen display showed the issue why did it need an investigation. Then they tell me oh we don’t have a battery in stock got to be ordered from Germany weeks away for delivery . It must be a common fault why no stock of batteries. Can’t belive I waited 6.5,hours to be contacted to tell me it wasn’t replaced

Fault developed while at dealership
I purchased my car from JCB Ashford in March this year. Three months later, it developed a fault with the steering. After a lot of to and fro about whether this would be covered by the Renew warranty, and spending £150 for insurance for the courtesy car, it was ultimately agreed that the warranty would cover the repair work. Upon collecting the car, and before leaving the forecourt, I noticed a ‘check brakes’ warning on the dashboard and the spanner service light illuminated. Despite the brake fault only occurring while my car was at the dealership, I have been told that I need to pay for this fault at a cost of just under £180. I am currently waiting for advice from Dacia Customer Service in regard to this as I do not feel I should be paying for a fault that has occurred while the car was in for repair at the dealership and still under warranty.
Overall, a very disappointing experience. Which is as yet unresolved.
Sneaking in add-ons and falsely claimed it was FCA's requirement
Sat down to discuss the price of a car I was interested in. The salesman presented a printed quote which included some add-ons that I did not ask for; paint protection and scratch insurance totalling £1,000. They explicitly told me that it was FCA's requirement for them to show me the add-ons. I knew what they did was totally against FCA's Consumer Duty and related regulations to induce a customer to buy add-ons by default. Hence, I just walked away.
Great customer service
My wife and I purchased a used Kia sportage from jcb Kia Bromley and the entire process was really professional to ensure a smooth transaction. Perry was really helpful and patient with all our needs and found us the perfect car and I can’t recommended him enough to anyone who wants advice rather than a hard sales pitch. A mention to Ashley as well who was also really polite and helpful. We will return to this branch again when we hopefully exchange this car in a couple of years time . Thanks
