We enjoyed a fantastical experience in Cape Town!!! We wanted to make different changes depending on the weather and Francois was always well disposed to our requirements, proposing new activities with a very well knowledge about them. Thanks a lot to Francois and the staff of The Travel Cafe Cape Town for designing our journey to Cape Town!!!

We had an absolutely unique and memorable experience in South Africa thanks to the care and passionate attention to detail the team at The Travel Cafe Cape Town delivered in the way they put our dream holiday together. They organised an outstanding itinerary ticking all our boxes and requirements, every thing booked perfectly but with the ability to optimise (i.e. change :-) our activities to suit the weather, our wishes or new requirements. They use a clever little App that guided and supported us during the 2.5 weeks of travel in their beautiful country but were on hand at any time to answer questions or help us with our needs. We could not wish for a better or more personal experience and would have no reservations in recommending their services to anyone who want to have the holiday of their life in South Africa!

My family and I have just come back from Cape Town where we spent 5 days organized by The Travel Cafe Cape Town. Francois and JD are true professionals and have taken care of all details of our break.Being a family of 4 with a child with a special needs, we felt reassured that our activities and sightseeing were appropriate and comfortable for everyone in the family. We generally like to avoid the heavy touristy areas but instead we prefer to fully experience the local culture and way of life. François and JD extensive knowledge of the area made our holiday ultra special recommending some true hidden gems...From Lions Head to Table Mountain to Boulders Beach to Cape Point, amazing food,great wine and most of all, buzzing energy and very friendly people. We had a fantastic time and every little detail of each day was taken care of. ..we will definitely go back to South Africa and highly recommend The Travel Cafe with no doubt! Thank you so much!

Just returned from a trip of a life time to Sa.
JD and the team made sure we got the most out of our trip from accommodation, sight seeing, entertainment and travel. From start to finish everything went smoothly and we thourouly enjoyed every minute and have so many memories and experiences. We even made the most of some of their recommendations in between our bespoke trip.

JD and Francois planned an amazing family holiday to South Africa for us. They managed to pack in a wide variety of things to see (wine lands, safari, city, coast) without the trip being too rushed. We were travelling with a toddler, which presented a challenge as not all hotels and guesthouses accept young children. The Travel Cafe embraced the challenge and found us some magical places to stay. They also worked with our budget, finding options to save in one location so that we could splurge on the safari. We enjoyed the planning process and were always kept informed and given options to choose from. The personalised itinerary they made us contained wonderful tips for days out, restaurants and places to stop on the journey. I thoroughly recommend their service to everyone!

We went to Cape Town for our nephew's wedding The people from The Travel Cafe are really professional and took care of all the needs we had and they really made our trip awesome. Special mention to François who was always available to help us and clear all our questions even during week ends.

We had a dream holiday to South Africa in mind and the travel cafe excelled all of our expectations! Would highly recommend to anyone! Everything was so organised and made our trip really easy. The trips that we booked through JD and the team were so personal and intimate, we thoroughly enjoyed every minute! The accommodation we stayed at were all spectacular in there own ways and the recommendations for days and restaurants etc ensured that we got the most out of our time.
Will definitely ask these guys to plan our next trip!!

You will get answers and more than what you expect. They don’t charge any extra fees vs prices you would pay directly. Travel café aims to help organise ur trip and encourage tourism in South Africa and some other African countries.you will get customized advice and support and you will have the opportunity to discover a lot. Nos organizaron un viaje brutal por la zona del oeste de Sudáfrica. Son 2 chicos muy atentos, preocupados por todos los detalles y siempre recomendado cosas para que el viaje sea de 10! Preferimos escoger una agencia sudáfricana para visitar este país y no nos equivocamos ya que conocen cosas que una agencia española no puede saber y no nos equivocamos!

Desde el principio siempre fueron muy atentos, supieron exactamente el tipo de viaje que queríamos, tuvimos siempre la impresión de estar muy bien recomendados. François y JD són encantadores y siempre están en contacto para cualquier cosa desde que planificas hasta cuando terminas el viaje, ya sea por email o whatsapp siempre están ahí. Están pendientes del tipo de viaje que quieres, te dan ideas y opciones de viaje(alojamientos, comidas, sitios turísticos, lugares locales, compras) para que puedas escoger la opción que más te interese y con tu nivel económico.

Fantastic trip and great organisation. Everything worked as it was planned. I loved South Africa and if I have to travel again I will definitely do it with Travel Cafe.

Excellent in all aspects. I booked three activities with The Travel Cafe to try and get the most out of my week, which I certainly did. Francois responded to all of my queries quickly and knowledgeably, which made booking easy. The Peninsula Tour and Hop on Bus were both excellent things to do and great value for money, and though my kayaking had to be cancelled due to safety concerns, I received a refund in person the same day and still had a great day climbing Table Mountain - and great night, thanks to the range of bar and restaurant recommendations Francois included with my information. I will definitely be returning to Cape Town and will definitely come to The Travel Cafe first for activities and information.

Ho fatto un breve viaggio in Sud Africa, qualche giorno di Safari nel Parco Kruger (riserva privata Simbavati) e una settimana a Città del Capo. L’organizzaz Del viaggio è stata impeccabile. JD mi ha praticamente assistito ogni volta che ne ho avuto bisogno, anche solo per piccoli suggerimenti o per cambi di programma non prevedibili. Questo è stato un valore aggiunto che mi ha permesso di conoscere più da vicino il paese ed avvicinarmi alla loro gente.

I have always dreamed of going to Namibia, but found planning the trip quite overwhelming and because I could only take one week off from my busy schedule for the trip I wanted to make sure I get it right. It’s not that easy to just “redo” it all. Francois and JD at The Travel Cafe worked very closely with my husband and me to find out what we wanted to see and experience on our trip, and then designed a holiday that checked all of our boxes - and many more. There is no way we would have been able to find some of the things that turned out to be the biggest highlights of our trip. Unless we spent days or weeks hunched over our computers researching the trip, but both of us are too busy for that. I was - almost literally - breathless when I saw our luxury camp in the middle of the Namibian desert under endless starry skies, and waking up with the sight of an Oryx just metres away. This was a true bucketlist trip for me, thank you so much François and JD for making that dream come true.

Just returned from a fortnight trip to SA with family. Prior to going I had many email and WhatsApp conversations with JD who was extremely helpful with things to see and do in Cape Town and the garden route with all his suggestions being excellent. These guys really know their stuff and recommend places on their own experiences. I would definitely return to South Africa and next time I will use these guys to help plan the whole trip.
