This was ridiculous. I placed an order for samples early on a Tuesday morning (before 9AM), and paid for "guaranteed next day delivery." However, by 5PM on Wednesday, I had no samples. I called "customer service" and, after being forced to listen to extremely discordant on-hold music for quite a while, I was told that my order was "still processing," but they didn't know why. They told me that they would refund the amount I paid for next day delivery (thanks!), but assured me that they weren't actually cancelling my order, and that I would have my samples on Friday (which is today). Anyway - surprise!!!! (not really) - no samples! I just spoke with "customer service" once again who, after making me listen to the same hideous music, informed me that my order was "still processing" (but they still don't know why). In addition, because the "processing department" had gone home for the day (which makes sense, since it's 2:30PM!), the best that they could do was to "guarantee" that I might get my samples next Wednesday. Or Thursday. Because "next day" means the next day AFTER a 24 hour (or, in this case, 6 day) turnaround time. Oh, but they made to sure to tell me that it wasn't my fault. Whew! I was worried! Anyway, Tilebar, you just lost a large job this time - and I will definitely never use you in the future.

This company is horrendous! I placed two orders with a guaranteed second day delivery. The first shipment did arrive on time but the edging we ordered in the delivery was bent. The second shipment is now 5 days past the guaranteed two day shipping window and they literally could not offer us anything. The supervisor was completely unhelpful and basically said they did their part and its on UPS even though they literally up-charge you for this "guaranteed 2 delivery". They do not stand by their word, offer terrible customer service, and are downright unhelpful. I would not recommend this company unless you are willing to deal with incompetence and feel completely frustrated.

Our contractor ordered the tile we selected from TileBar. As installation began, two-thirds of the boxes of tile were the wrong color and mislabeled as the corect color. Our job is now set back weeks. This will be the last time we order from TileBar.

I ordered tile in advance of a bathroom remodel. Turns out they didn't send me all the tile I purchased as I was short a box but by the time I discovered it, I had already passed the deadline for any sort of compensation. I called and asked if they would make an exception and while they acknowledged it was their mistake, they would not send me another box for free-- even though I had already paid for it. I had to order another box of tile, even though it was their mistake, and they charged me $240 for it.

they charge a flat rate for shipping tile that is $75.00. This was not relayed on their web site clearly at all. I spent many hours picking out tile samples then waiting for them to arrive in the mail. I picked out the tile I wanted but only needed 3 boxes for a kitchen back splash that is when I found out about the $75.00 shipping rate which is ridiculous unless you are ordering a huge pile of tile. So I wasted a lot of time and was very dissapointed. I went with another company and ordered tile that is shipped for free. Please make this minimum shipping fee known on your web site before people go to the trouble of choosing and ordering samples so you don't waste people's time

If I could give this a NEGATIVE star I would - Tilebar delivered DEFECTIVE TILE to our construction company then refused to pay for return shipping and even threatened restocking fees! The tile was falling off the backing sheet! We're not going to take 5 extra house to "restructure" 40 sheets of tile (each tile was 5-8 pcs)! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! PS we had to pay $400 to return their DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE to get our credit! Nice way to start, rather END a business relationship with a Contractor.

I wish I had a positive review to write. I placed an order for tile and selected the Pay in 4 option from Paypal. I was charged the full amount. I called Tilebar who told me it was Paypal's "promotion", and their issue if it was not offered. I called Paypal who told me it was the merchants issue of whether or not they accept the Pay in 4; and that their website was misleading. I called Tilebar again and spoke to a manager. The ONLY option I was given to rectify this was to RETURN the tile, wait for it to process, and place the order again over the phone to "confirm" the Pay in 4. Very frustrating to be told from two companies that there is nothing they will do about the discrepancy between their systems.

Tile bar has the best selection and I love their try in your room feature on the website. They allow you to buy samples for cheap and don’t limit you. Our backsplash in our new build is amazing!
Zach provided top tier customer service. There I was an error on their website regarding quantity. Zach quickly took care of the issue.
I ordered the Tehama White tile. This is my first time ordering online. The tile was a bit larger than expected but I used it anyway for my kitchen backsplash. It came out nice but I will never order tile online again because I ran out and had to order more, the shipping for two boxes of 25 pieces of tile each cost me $100 not including the cost of the tile. I only ended up using 3 pieces of tile from one box and to return the rest would have cost me because tile is heavy and there is a 15% restocking fee. I decided to keep the rest because it wasn't worth it.
Buy your tile from a local store unless you absolutely know the specifications of each cut to order enough to know your actual cost.
Tile Bar was fantastic with their selections and options. I loved that I could purchase samples which made it so much easier to make decisions when designing my kitchen.
Would have given a negative review if possible. Spent almost $600 with the company and received a $28 credit once the product shipped back. Word of advice, do not spent your hard earned money with this company.
The site is easy to use especially the “see it in your space” option. The choices were good - a nice variety. The prices were good especially sale items which I ordered. The order completion was easy. Communication with tile vendor and delivery truckers was good as well. We had some shipping breakage and Tile Bar customer service got another box to us quickly so no delay on job. The quality all around was good - very pleased with installation by our tile guy. Would definitely recommend Tile Bar.
Here at Metaphor Decor we do a lot of projects that require tile. Theres no question Tile Bar has the most gorgeous selection. Tile Bar is always new and exciting. My rep Jason is always responsive and works with me on budget. From the most artistic tile, to the basics, Tile Bar does not disappoint!
My first order of 12 x 24 tiles arrived broken, it took about 3 weeks and me emailing and calling to even get a response, finally a replacement order was sent, these too were broken. Again, it took multiple attempts by me to get a response, finally a refund was issued and I bought similar tile elsewhere. The customer service experience with tile bar was terrible. Nice people but very ineffective, I shouldn't have to pursue you for a response. Won't have to worry about me again.
Ordered couple times samples from TileBar. They have an amazing selection of tiles with good prices for the quality. I received samples packaged very well and much quicker than I expected.
The tile selection is amazing! I love the 5 samples for $5 too! Super fast shipping and such a cool site……my favorite feature = alcoholic drinks being made with different tiles in the background…….great marketing!
