I really love the clothes and would order again except your return sucks. I live in Canada British Columbia and ordered on line as I do not live any where near a torrid store and to return something that I don’t like I have to send it back to the states which will cost me at least 40.00 to 50.00. But if I lived near a store I could just go to one and return mu stuff. Why can I not just be able to mail my stuff back to a store in Canada
This been said because of this return policy I will no longer be ordering from this company and I have informed all my friends of this as well

I gave one star based on the difficulty…

I gave one star based on the difficulty with returns. I bought 4 items and needed to return one. First I ordered choosing using “Canada” in the drop down bar. When I got the item I noticed it contained a commercial invoice if I needed to return which meant it came from the States. I will not order anything from the States on purpose. I took the package to the post office and although I had the paperwork for Customs, they said I had to fill out more info on the Zonos app. I begrudgingly did so and went back to the post office only to be told what I did was cancelled as it was past 4 days. Nowhere did it tell me I only had 4 days. I have had to open that package so many times to keep taking a picture of the item that there is nothing left of the package. Wish me luck as I’m off to the post office again in the morning. I contacted Torrid and they had a bunch of stupid questions that I know they have the answers to. I said, nope, I’m done with the constant jumping through hoops. Bottom line, when I choose that I’m shopping from Canada, I expect the item to be shipped within Canada. Never again!!!

Torrid EX shopper!

I have shopped with torrid for 15 years. I shop online. I am a credit card holder. I ordered 5 different orders, they canceled the last 2 when I used my $20 rewards on each order I had $40.00I had acquired .They said it's because I had too many orders and I had to pick it up at the mall okay so I walk with a cane or a Walker. It is very hard for me to get to the mall and I don't care for that store at all. There's stuff that looks like it's been thrown all over the floor torn up nasty returns and they never have my size or what I need when I go in there so why would I go to the store?? I like the convenience of ordering online and receiving it at my front door. Torrid has done this to me before, but since it was my birthday and I had $40 in Torrif rewards I thought why not give it a try again. Im happy with my previous orders that I received in the last couple of days.... So I talked to the representative in CS and she said that I have to pick everything up in the store, but they just cancel my orders they don't give me that option they just cancel it !!!! THEN they Want me to pick it up in the store... So I said give me back my reward money and they've only given me $20 back so far...PLEASE stay away from Torrid their items are miss sized, poorly sewn, pockets have holes or are half sewn closed, the quality has gone down to less than Walmart quality and I'll tell you what Amazon has some amazing unique items that fit well and are made well!! I highly recommend that people just go to Amazon or anywhere else but Torrid!! They are a scam of a store and the way they treat their customers is beyond horrific!! So stay away from Torrid They just sell very poorly made clothes now it's just junk sheen is better than Torrid lately!

Order your items with caution on rhe Torrid site like many of the others here, ordering online feels more like a scam than anything, but i dont know what other site to go to since Addition Elle was shut down. I've had three purchases cancelled on me randomly in 2025. I was tenacious enough to keep on top of the orders and refunds. Was offered 20% off coupon for next perchase and was never given it by email or attached to my torrid account. I don't have much hope for 2026. Best to go in store OR we all start a big woman/persons shop together in Canada. Clearly they don't want our buisness.

Return/Refund Nightmare

I have ordered from Torrid for years and haven't had issues, until this last year. They changed their return policy almost everything ordered online is marked "return by mail only" or "final sale, no refunds, no returns". I unfortunately had to return a pair of shoes and they were marked "return by mail only". I followed the instructions, I provided my own box, printed out the return packing slip and return label (they do not provide these things for you, unfortunate). I returned the item with zero issues, tried the shoes on and they were too big, never even wore them outside, didn't keep them on my feet for more than a minute, they were returned in "brand new" conditions. This was 3 weeks ago and I have yet to receive my refund. Called customer service and got the run around. Then saw the refund in my account yesterday. I was happy to get my refund, finally, until I was looking at my statement today and noticed the refund was gone. They took my refund back and I am very upset. I now and on the phone with customer service again trying to find out what happened and why they were able to take my refund back. I have been very disappointed with their new return policy. It's very difficult to deal with customer service. So not only did they take away the convenience of returning items in store, they also make you provide your own return box, label and packing slip, and to top it off they take $6 off of every return. Disappointed. They lost a "VIP" customer.

Loyal customer. Simple request. Eight days of runaround.

I purchased four items in store at Torrid on 2/28/2026. That same evening I went to Torrid.com to place an order for additional items, and discovered that all four items I had just bought in store were listed online for $55.78 less than I paid, even after my in-store BOGO 50% discount. I was not looking for a problem. I was about to give them more business.

I requested a price adjustment. Customer care denied it twice, offering only two options: return to the store in person, which I am not able to do, or mail everything back and repurchase online, a process that would cost Torrid more in fees and shipping than the adjustment itself. I escalated to executive leadership. No response after 8 days.

I filed a BBB complaint (ID: 24601063). Torrid's response cited an online order policy that does not govern in-store transactions. I reviewed every policy document Torrid publishes. None of them prohibit what I asked for.

I have been patient and professional throughout. The facts speak for themselves.

Extremely disappointed!

I ordered several items that were on clearance and when I received them, they were absolutely huge and strangely made. I ordered size one in everything however each one of the tops are extremely wide! They are also very short! I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m very disappointed and even more disappointed that you cannot even return or exchange clearance items. There goes $200 down the drain! I won’t be shopping there ever again. Again, the clothes are very oddly made!

Horrendous customer service

Horrendous customer service. My online order was cancelled by Torrid on 01/21/26. I am still waiting for a refund. I have been on the phone several times with Torrid, having to repeat everything over and over and no one can help. Call backs are promised and no one ever calls back. The people you speak to give you scripted answers for every situation. It is horribly frustrating situation. This company lacks customer service. No one calls back, not even an email back but hey for every phone call I get 3 customer satisfaction survey emails. What a joke. They have definitely lost another customer.

Awful experience

My best friend bought me a gift card (e-gift card) a month ago. Ive spent HOURS on the phone with the gift card company and torrid with NO resolution. $200 gone! Im going to have my friend contest the charge and get her money back. I dont ever shop there and I was excited. Now im disappointed an furious. Torrid and their affiliates are awful.

Waste of money!

I would not recommend to buy from Torrid if you live in Canada. If clothes don't fit, it will cost you about 50 to return and honestly it's not even worth it. Clothes aren't great, they are cheap looking. I wish I knew this prior this big mistake! Customer service is non existent.

Customer service has absolutely no idea…

Customer service has absolutely no idea what they are doing. You get different answers each time you call. It is very frustrating. It shoukdnt take multiple calls to finally get the right answer. This is not difficult. At first I was told my order after 5 plus business days hasn't shipped from the warehouse, then I was told that they would call the warehouse and call me back which they never did, then I was told my order was coming from a store. I understand the holidays but it was not coming from a large warehouse. It was coming from the store which is much smaller. Additionally the quality of clothing has gone down since the tarrifs.

Not that Torrid cares but they lost a customer.

Absolutely terrible if anything goes wrong with an order or something. I have been emailing and calling torrid since Nov 6 2025. They keep coming back with the same answer, that I've been refunded in full. So I responded today by email showing them screenshots of the refunds, the order total, and the difference of almost $20 that they stole from me. It's absolutely horrendous how they operate and treat their customers.

The worse online experience

Total waste of time. I made multiple orders just for them to keep getting canceled and refunded. The website sucks, and the ap crashes. Then customer service is all outsourced to people that you can barely understand. It's like they don't want you to shop here. I tried to buy bras here even though I hated the experience and they made it so fricken difficult it's not worth it anymore. I can't believe they just don't want money. I imagine this store is heading towards bankruptcy since this is so terrible.
