Ignored after sending receipts. Appalling service appaling after service.
This is my third update regarding my purchase (Reg: LA71 UTZ). After raising serious safety issues via an independent health check, including severe steering vibration caused by their "Premium Pack" tyre gel, aftersales advisor. Actually claimed the shaking was an acceptable "product feature." Shaking to the point of being unsafe is a major safety hazard, not a feature.
Because I use my car daily, didnt want a car pulling right,unsatisfactory tyres, 3 differnet brands out of 4 and one as 2.7mm and 3mm,and the phantom appointment to sort the problems out was 4 weeks I was forced to pay for 4 new tyres and an alignment myself to make the vehicle safe. They requested that I email over the invoices so management could review the case. I did exactly that, offering a very reasonable compromise to collect the missing parts (wipers and parcel shelf) and settle the remaining faults (non-working lights, substandard alloys) via a goodwill gesture payment less than the amount needed.
They have had nearly 4 weeks to prepare for this. If thr appointment was even genuine, they should have had the parcel shelf and wipers sitting there waiting as an absolute minimum. Instead, since providing the receipts, the communication has gone completely dead. They are happy to take your money, but as soon as you present them with invoices to rectify their own safety failures, or have any complaints they ignore you. You'd think they would reply with you can collect the parcel shelf and wipers or post them out. As they should.have already ordered them unless of course they was lying. Shame really because this compromise is a good deal
They think comsumer rights act doesnt apply to them despite the claims on theyre website.

A truly terrible place to buy a vehicle…
A truly terrible place to buy a vehicle from faults a week after purchase. Ongoing engine management light issues. Vehicle returned after they have had the car for weeks at a time. No fault fault safe to drive. No diagnostic reports given to see if they actually did anything. My presumption is they turned the key and the engine management light was no longer on. Less than 3,000 miles done in a £15,000 car (yes I know it’s second hand) and the turbo fails and takes the engine with it.
Then it’s the “bulletproof” warranty you claim on. Nope drive on damage we won’t repair. £13,500 engine replacement on a car I’ve had less than 8 month. Over 2 years fighting this with the motor ombudsman who have ruled in my favour TWICE and they won’t accept the ruling.
DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!

Bunch of clueless cowboys
The place looks impressive the cars look nice. But under the bonnet most have major faults. We bought ours from there but on the way home the car filled with toxic fumes. As it was sunday afternoon we couldnt get hold of anyone on the phone. So we rang first thing monday morning..6 times in all but no one got back to us. The EML was on and spanner symbol. Cruise control wouldnt work..radio wouldnt work..mirrors wouldnt retract..various other faults apoeared..we were given a date for inspection 6 weeks ahead! Out of their so called warrenty! We insisted and asked to reject the car after only 2 days. We had an independent inspection which confirmed the car was faulty but still had to wait for them to inspect it. Because of the fumes they brought forward their inspectiion and return car 8 days later. We told them to keep the car and refund us. We asked for our old car back but that had already gone.we had to make the 60 mile home with no transport. No money for another car..nothing! We eventually got a refund nearly a month later. We had paid outright for the car on the day of purchase..but they with held our money for a month only that we threatened them with court action they gave us it back and only £75 for our old car which wss worth a lot more. We just wanted out so we accepted refund...never to return to the place.shocking service.and the worst thing is they couldnt give a toss..the 99 point check is not worth the paper its written on..and we discovered it had not been servuced for 5 years
AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Sales side was fine and all seemed to go smoothly on the day, a few pressure sales tactics (would not allow us to pay a deposit to hold the car we chose and collect it 2 days later after sorting insurance & tax etc, said it was now or risk losing it) but aftersales was awful. Can't make direct contact with aftersales, has to go through concierge service. Wait ages for a call back then several weeks wait for an appointment. No courtesy car available for 3 weeks while mine was off road, only when I asked to reject vehicle for a refund I was given a courtesy car but then waited a further 6 weeks for mine to have an engine replacement. Had my car back for 4 weeks before it failed again, this time both gear box and clutch need replacing. Again requested to reject the car for a refund and still not sorted. Trade Centre have had my car back there broken down for longer than I have had it working since purchase early in March. Now realising just how many others are in the same boat as me trying to reject vehicles not fit for purpose and left without a working car or refund, appalling service from aftersales.

Other than Ethan, who came across as very rude. He wasn't very helpful, and didn't even apologise for the delay in receiving the vehicle.

ROTHERHAM BRANCH - Flash Sale
We went to their 'flash sale' yesterday. We'd visited during the week to view the car we wanted. The salesman told us we needed to know exactly where it was, because we would need to be able to get to it immediately, due to the expected massive crowds, and to get there very early.
We arrived at 5am, having left home at 3;45 to get there, and we were 2nd in the queue. In the next 4 hours, another 9 people arrived but the atmosphere was great, and everyone agreed which car they were going for, with the exception of one guy, who arrived 3 hours after us. He said he wanted the same car as us but we were confident because we knew exactly where our car was and were ahead of him in the queue. My husband had been into the showroom at 7:30 am to use the toilet and 'our' car was still in place, so when the doors were opened at 9am, he ran straight to where the car should have been, it wasn't there!
By the time we found it, the other guy was standing smugly beside it. We approached the desk to ask what on earth had happened to be told 'oh, we had to move some around this morning " I said "what, in the last hour!". It seemed that only our car had been moved and given that our 'competitor' seemed to have gone straight to it, I can't help but think that there was some underhand dealing taking place.
Having spoken to everyone else, we were the only ones not to have got the car they wanted and we were left feeling stunned, bitterly disappointed and somehow cheated.
I now have absolutely no faith in this company and certainly would not consider buying a car from them.
