Tradecert is UK-built electrical certification software designed specifically for electricians, contractors, and small electrical businesses. Our platform helps electricians create, manage, and store electrical certificates quickly and accurately, whether working on domestic, commercial, or industrial installations.
The software supports a full range of UK electrical certificates, including EIC, EICR, and Minor Works, as well as fire alarm certification, emergency lighting certificates, EV charging installation certificates, and other statutory compliance documentation — all aligned with current UK regulations.
Tradecert is built to reduce admin time, minimise errors, and simplify compliance by guiding users through each certificate step-by-step. Electricians can complete certificates on site or in the office, with clear layouts and intelligent prompts that reduce rework and missed information.
A key feature of Tradecert is its use of AI-powered tools to speed up certification. Electricians can upload photos of distribution boards, fire alarm panels, emergency lighting systems, and previous certificates — allowing the software to automatically extract relevant data and populate certificate fields. The platform also includes intelligent observations, suggested wording, and regulation references to help improve accuracy and consistency.
Tradecert works across mobile and web, supports offline use while on site, and syncs securely to the cloud when an internet connection is available. Built with feedback from working electricians, it is ideal for sole traders and small electrical teams who want reliable certification software without unnecessary complexity.

Honestly some of the best software…
Honestly some of the best software you'll use for certification. Not only is it easy and intuitive to use but it uses AI to help the process even more.
They improve and update it regularly and let you know exactly what it is they've changed/improved, and also actually listen to the electricians using it.
Incredibly good customer service too. Cant fault it

That is a serious review, thank you.
Hearing that it is some of the best software you have used for certification means a lot. The goal with Tradecert has always been to make an electrical certificate app that is intuitive first, then layer in AI features that genuinely speed up the process rather than complicate it.
Really appreciate you pointing out the regular updates as well. Continuous improvements and clear change logs are important with electrical certification software, especially when regulations and user needs evolve.
And thank you for mentioning the customer service. When you rely on software daily for EICRs and certificates, you need to know support is there if you need it.
Cannot ask for much more than that kind of feedback. Thanks again for the support.

Being with Tradecert since it launched and still backing it says everything. The aim has always been to keep improving the electrical certificate app with regular updates and clear communication so you know exactly what has been improved.
Also really appreciate you mentioning the support. Even when it turns out not to be a software issue, getting quick help matters when you are using electrical certification software every day for EICRs and certificates.
Thanks again for sticking with Tradecert from the start.
Great software
I've used multiple softwares for certification but this one is easy to use, smart AI integration and generally a better system to use.

Best one I've used.
I've used various certification software throughout the years, but this one is a game changer. The UI is clean and intuitive, and the AI board import and suggestions make it feel like it's 5 years ahead of the last cert software I was using. The development team is easy to reach, responsive, and are bringing out updates on a regular basis.

Finally, testing software that works
Finally, some excellent testing software. Some really nice features with the observations with pictures and pictures of DB’s. The drop down lists are so helpful when you want to input a lot of data at once, the quick add feature too is also super helpful for spares.
Technical support is absolutely spot on, always happy to help and take on feedback in order to improve.
Can’t recommend this software high enough.

Phenomenal bit of software
Phenomenal bit of software! Having just left the NICEIC's portal in absolute disgust at the retrograde step they've made with the update to their already poor certification software I was desperate to find something intuitive, with good user interface and that had clearly been developed alongside electricians with their input so as to be able to meet their requirements. Having used it I can honestly say that it's a game changer. Brilliant, intuitive interface, highly effective AI support and massive flexibility. Over the course of two certificates, each of 20 circuits, I reckon I have saved myself between 1-2 hours already compared to the NICEIC's offering. While I'll never love generating certs this is a close as I'll get to it being a pleasure!
Honourable mention, also, to their helpdesk. Got through on a Saturday morning and ended up chatting to one of the co-founders! Incredibly helpful guy who clearly wants his product to make people's lives easier. All power to them!
