Tradecert is UK-built electrical certification software designed specifically for electricians, contractors, and small electrical businesses. Our platform helps electricians create, manage, and store electrical certificates quickly and accurately, whether working on domestic, commercial, or industrial installations.
The software supports a full range of UK electrical certificates, including EIC, EICR, and Minor Works, as well as fire alarm certification, emergency lighting certificates, EV charging installation certificates, and other statutory compliance documentation — all aligned with current UK regulations.
Tradecert is built to reduce admin time, minimise errors, and simplify compliance by guiding users through each certificate step-by-step. Electricians can complete certificates on site or in the office, with clear layouts and intelligent prompts that reduce rework and missed information.
A key feature of Tradecert is its use of AI-powered tools to speed up certification. Electricians can upload photos of distribution boards, fire alarm panels, emergency lighting systems, and previous certificates — allowing the software to automatically extract relevant data and populate certificate fields. The platform also includes intelligent observations, suggested wording, and regulation references to help improve accuracy and consistency.
Tradecert works across mobile and web, supports offline use while on site, and syncs securely to the cloud when an internet connection is available. Built with feedback from working electricians, it is ideal for sole traders and small electrical teams who want reliable certification software without unnecessary complexity.

When your time is so precious
When your time is so precious, to spend with family or friend but you are feeling the pressure of getting the job certificates done urgently to then get paid and then pay your bills, it is a really stressful place to be. Sometimes you come across a solution that just seems to solve your problems in an instant. Tradecert for me was that solution. A quicker smart way to work. Everything you need in front of you to do thorough and accurate electrical certification at a click of a mouse, or and AI button. It is like having your own skilled assistant sat on your shoulder taking the repetitive strain for you. This software flows, it is so intuitive how it shows you everything your need to know in front of you. It’s easy to pick and learn with lots of really helpful and knowledgeable support anytime anywhere. After 15 years with a competitor this has become an overnight game changer. Wether you’re a sole trader, one man spark or a company with multiple engineers, Tradecert has the power to revolutionise your business work flow and give you your time back to focus on people, profit or personal.

I finally made the switch over to Tradecert and it’s been a game changer. It’s clearly designed with electricians in mind.
I can complete certificates on-site using the app or jump onto the laptop seamlessly — no messing about. It’s easily cut my cert completion time in half.
Customer support is spot on too — I WhatsApped a query and had a call back within 5 minutes at 7:30pm. Proper service.”

Thanks Patrick, we really appreciate the review.
It is great to hear that switching to Tradecert has been a game changer and that it has helped cut your certificate completion time in half. We built Tradecert to make electrical certification faster, easier, and more practical for electricians working on site, in the van, or back on the laptop.
Being able to move seamlessly between the app and laptop is exactly the kind of workflow we wanted to create for modern electrical certificates, without the usual messing about.
We are also really pleased the support was quick and helpful. Proper customer service matters, especially when electricians are trying to get certificates finished and jobs wrapped up.
Thanks again for choosing Tradecert.
I’d be lost without it now!
I’ve tried various apps and software to complete all certification on site, but I always ended up finishing it at home in the evenings. They would lose data, crash, and generally perform very poorly. I wasn’t expecting Trade Cert to be any different… how wrong was I!
Not only does it perform flawlessly on site, but it’s actually quicker. The AI option to import the board and circuits has saved me hours.
I’m really enjoying the experience, and the backup is excellent. I haven’t needed support yet, but I’ve shared a few ideas which were received with open ears.
I’d be lost without it now!

It is great to hear that Tradecert has changed the way you complete electrical certificates on site. We know how frustrating it can be when certification software crashes, loses data, or pushes the admin back into evenings at home, so hearing that Tradecert has been reliable and quicker means a lot.
The AI board and circuit import feature was built to save electricians time on repetitive certificate entry, so it is brilliant to hear it has already saved you hours.
We also really appreciate you sharing ideas with us. Feedback from electricians using Tradecert on real jobs helps us keep improving the app, the workflow, and the overall electrical certification experience.
Thanks again for choosing Tradecert. We are glad it has become something you would not want to be without.
