Tradecert is UK-built electrical certification software designed specifically for electricians, contractors, and small electrical businesses. Our platform helps electricians create, manage, and store electrical certificates quickly and accurately, whether working on domestic, commercial, or industrial installations.
The software supports a full range of UK electrical certificates, including EIC, EICR, and Minor Works, as well as fire alarm certification, emergency lighting certificates, EV charging installation certificates, and other statutory compliance documentation — all aligned with current UK regulations.
Tradecert is built to reduce admin time, minimise errors, and simplify compliance by guiding users through each certificate step-by-step. Electricians can complete certificates on site or in the office, with clear layouts and intelligent prompts that reduce rework and missed information.
A key feature of Tradecert is its use of AI-powered tools to speed up certification. Electricians can upload photos of distribution boards, fire alarm panels, emergency lighting systems, and previous certificates — allowing the software to automatically extract relevant data and populate certificate fields. The platform also includes intelligent observations, suggested wording, and regulation references to help improve accuracy and consistency.
Tradecert works across mobile and web, supports offline use while on site, and syncs securely to the cloud when an internet connection is available. Built with feedback from working electricians, it is ideal for sole traders and small electrical teams who want reliable certification software without unnecessary complexity.

Great service
Great service, real time saver, and easy to use, great cost, Brilliant !!!
Also what would make it require 6 star rating, would if it would Copy all details from all sections of a previous certificate, and just allow us to adapt date / client etc

Thanks for the brilliant feedback, Andy, it means a lot.
We are really glad to hear Tradecert is saving you time and keeping things simple while delivering great value. That is exactly what we aim for with electrical certification software.
That is also a great suggestion. Being able to fully copy all sections from a previous certificate and quickly adapt details like date and client is something we know would make the workflow even faster. We are always looking at ways to streamline certificate creation for electricians, so this is definitely the kind of improvement we take seriously.
Appreciate you taking the time to share that.

Great app and a time saver
Was a little sceptical at first prior to signing up as I currently have 6 months left on my current software package.
But the AI generating circuit details was what win mr over as the majority of my work is conducting EICRs.
So far, the app runs smoothly, the features all work and has saved me so much time completing circuitry details.
God send and definately would recommend.

Hi David, really appreciate you taking the time to leave this.
It is great to hear the AI circuit detail feature is making a real difference, especially for EICRs where speed and accuracy matter most. That is exactly what Tradecert is built for so it is good to see it delivering in the real world.
Glad the app is running smoothly and saving you time on your electrical certificates. Thanks again for the recommendation, it means a lot.
Time consuming
If it 100% populated the DB correctly rather than having to take numerous photos of the DB to try & get it right it wouldn't be a problem ( time consuming). Also if there wasn't a slight delay moving onto next result box. More easier apps you can use out there.

Hi Terry, It sounds like you might be judging the whole software based on one feature. The AI can have the odd off moment here and there, especially depending on photo quality, but it’s just one part of the overall workflow.
Features like find and replace and the circuits table are designed to make editing incredibly fast, so even if something isn’t perfect first time, correcting it takes seconds rather than minutes. The circuits table in particular is one of the most advanced out there, which is where a lot of users save the majority of their time.
The vast majority find it saves them countless hours. Very happy to get one of the team to jump on a call and talk you through how quick it is?
