Something rather fishy about those guys - Indian IT remote services… what could go wrong right?… they did take over my computer to clean it up and install the McAfee piece of software I was renewing.
I think I could have worked out without their help but well - they did some few things in the background. I’ll be closely monitoring my bank accounts for a bit now!

I was searching for a method of adding a printer server to my new lap top, Windows 11. I contacted Trionfo whose representative, Max, told me that they were a Canon service company and he could help me. He said that Canon did not charge for printer support services. He said Canon always offered lifetime support for their printers. He said he had worked for the company for 6 years and was based in London. He spoke with a strong Asian accent and I could hear other Asian voices in the background. I asked where he was speaking from because at the this stage I thought he was in India and the company was not legitimate. However he was extremely helpful and polite and my initial concerns were pacified. I had not used the computer for banking, so I felt reasonably secure. I agreed that he could add the printer driver for me. My printer is about 8 years old and I thought was no longer supported by Canon, which is why I was doing a last bit of research before I retired it. He said no, Canon engineers could provide a driver. I allowed him access to my machine. He found a series of background errors linked to cookies which he said had caused my problem trying to load a printer driver. He showed me what he was talking about. He said they could do it for me but it would take about 35 minutes. He said he would pass me over to another team member, a technician. I said he had better go ahead. At this point no discussion about money had taken place. He said that the best protection over all was a fire wall. The anti virus software was no where near as effective as a fire wall. He said he could offer me 3 year or 5 year protection that would keep my computer address completely safe. 5 years was £349.99. This was my new computer and it sounded like a good deal. I agreed. I kept watch over the alterations they were making. Eventually they got my printer working and sent me a Canon invoice with no address on it or company details. (I was certain that it was not a Canon Invoice) However they do appear to have tidied up the errors and I do have a working printer now. I also have a Cisco Firewall and a site which could allow them access to my computer which I shall delete. I shall speak to PayPal about them. They weren't honest about who they were. Otherwise they did do what they said they would do. I think I was foolish to trust them, though at this stage I have no proof that they have caused me any harm. The experience of your other reviewers has alarmed me. I'm not sure it's a scam I think maybe my expression would be that they are chancers. They had technical knowlege without doubt but I have received the service I was looking for and I now have an expensive fire wall.

A scam. I thought I was on Macafee website. They " helped" install my anti virus and supposedly cleaned up my laptop and installed a fire wall. Wanted to charge me £300. I did eventually part with £140. Reported to paypal. I have never been taken in by a scammer before, but I was convinced the guy was from Macafee because of site/chat help. He did take control of my computer. A complete con.

A complete rip off as stated below

They have the same site as cannon paid to set up printer and 2months later came back to check that all was working ok took control of my computer for 3 hrs said the virus control I had was no any good the installed virus control but the put their name on it instead of mine disabled my vpn said they up graded my windows package which they did not do charged €399 keep away from them charged 309.99 first time so my new printer cost me €700

Triofo have an almost identical website address to Canon. I thought I was dealing with Canon when I wanted help to set up a new printer.
I was asked to give them access to my computer, told there was a bug and charged £449.99 to supposedly fix the bug and put in a Firewall. The invoice was headed Canon. I cannot use my computer now until it has been thoroughly checked to see what else was installed. I have no chance of getting my money back

They're committing premium diversion fraud.
I got dental insurance through them for BCBS and was being billed both by them and BCBS. The policy went into effect and got cancelled on the same day, so BCBS refunded the payment while they continued to bill me monthly for a premium for a policy that never went into effect and now they refuse to refund the payment.
They're a fake insurance broker, don't even get close to them with a 3 foot pole
