Great service very quick I won't go anywhere else for my coffee

I bought this coffee to try it out and hopefully waken me up in the mornings.

I chose Defib from Triple 9 Coffee.

I assumed “Defib” was just a clever name.

It is not.

I made myself a decent-sized mug, sat down and took my first sip.

Lovely. Strong, smooth, great flavour.

Second sip… very nice.

Third sip…

I could see Wi-Fi.

Within ten minutes I’d cleaned the kitchen, emptied the dishwasher, filled it again, hoovered the house, washed the windows, reorganised the garage and put the bins out three days early.

I then brought them back in because apparently it was only Tuesday.

Twenty minutes in, my Fitbit phoned me and asked if everything was okay.

I tried sitting down to relax but my legs had other plans. At one point I was sitting perfectly still while somehow doing 14,000 steps.

By 8:15am I’d completed everything I’d planned to do that week and started working on November.

I could hear the electricity going through the walls.

A fly went past me in the kitchen.

Too slow.

I caught up with it in the hallway and overtook it on the stairs.

I went outside and a neighbour shouted, “Morning!”

I replied before he’d actually said it.

By this point I realised why they called it Defib.

It doesn’t wake you up.

It restarts you.

This isn’t the sort of coffee where you say, “I’m feeling a bit tired, I’ll have a cup.”

This is the sort of coffee where you say, “I wonder what would happen if I drank this?” and 45 minutes later you’re pressure-washing the roof.

At one stage I’m fairly certain I blinked and missed Wednesday.

The dog asked for a walk.

We did 11 miles.

He’s still recovering.

I eventually tried lying down for five minutes, but apparently my body had entered a different time zone from the rest of the house.

The coffee itself, though, is genuinely excellent. Really nice flavour, beautifully strong and without doubt one of the best coffees I’ve tried.

Would I recommend Triple 9 Defib?

Absolutely.

Would I have another cup?

Definitely.

Would I have two?

Only if NASA needs something launched.

If you’re looking for a gentle little morning coffee to slowly ease you into the day…

keep looking.

If you want to be fully operational before the toaster has finished…

buy Defib.

I’m off now.

Apparently I’ve got a shed to build.

I don’t own a shed.

Or a garden.

But at this point, neither of those things feels like a problem.

Had the food storage backpack for a couple of weeks and it seems great so far!
