Used United carpets for about 16 years…
Used United carpets for about 16 years now for multiple houses. Always go looking for Phil, can’t top customer service like his. Always knows exactly what I want and need. In and out in an hour max with the carpets I want at a fraction of the price elsewhere. Fitting has always been quick, clean and well priced on the day they say and within the time slot.

No fuss mattress purchase
Went for a double mattress for my very picky son. The sales person sorry couldn't remember the young man's name was amazing. His knowledge of the mattresses was fantastic and narrowed my sons choice down to 2 to choose from. Within 20 mins we were in mattresses laid on and chosen then car loaded and on our way home. Great company, value for money product and friendly service.

I knew what look I wanted for my lounge carpet but my budget was the most important factor. I was overwhelmed with the stock in the showroom but phil was really helpful and understanding and I was able to find exactly what I wanted for the budget I had.

Helpful staff in store
Helpful staff in store , polite and courteous. Our stairs carpet was delivered and fitted by a helpful and friendly team . That's the 2nd carpet they have fitted for us this year would certainly go back .

Really pleased with our new carpet ! The man who served us was very pleasant and helpful. The carpet was fitted, when arranged (just before Christmas) by 2 pleasant & polite young guys. If your not using this company your missing out
From measuring up to installation the service was excellent. On the fitting day the men arrived they treated my home with respect worked diligently covering 3 rooms staircase and landing in 4 hours. They cleared rooms of furniture and replaced it they are very professional I am very pleased with the finished product. I would highly recommend United carpets and beds. If you have not tried them you should you will not be disappointed. It’s very good value for money. Thank you for a 5 star service

Buy cheap-get poor customer care service.
Buy cheap - get cheap customer care service - Doncaster branch-great while they were taking my money and making a sale however;
As a result of an unsuitable transition strip being used from kitchen floor tiles to hallway Lino, one of the kitchen tiles has cracked.
Spoke with manager John who got back to me and opened the phone all with "you're not going to like this but my manager - Mr. Johnathan Horgan says we didn't break the tile" - their use of the wrong strip did - the tile was not broken up to them doing their Lino fitting.
Emailed Mr. Horgan, politely asking if he would email or phone me to resolve the issue however, no response whatsoever.
They clearly have a right to reply to my comments however, I'd like to hear from the actual parent company to resolve this situation please and thank you.

I have looked into the issues you mentioned in your review and the store have confirmed that you reported damage to the kitchen tile adjacent to the room we fitted your new flooring in which occurred around 2 months after your flooring had been fitted.
The store also confirmed that as a courtesy, we did send out a fitter to your home to inspect the area and that, although the tile is damaged, the fitter did not think that the damage to the tile was connected to the type of transition strip used. The transition strip used was a self adhesive strip with no screws.
The store also mentioned that you request that the fitter replace the tile with a spare one you had, which we are not able to do (our carpet and flooring fitter is not a professional Tiler). As a gesture of goodwill we did offer you a replacement of a wider transition strip, but you did not wish to accept this offer.
If you would like to accept the offer of a replacement transition strip from the store they would still be happy to supply it, however we are not able to repair or replace your kitchen tile.
