Love it, helps me stay productive and focused!

I know I'm not even making the most of Motion's capabilities, but since I started using it regularly it has saved me so much time. Forwarding tasks via email is a huge plus for me, as was switching to Motion's notetaker and reviewing the action items it AUTOMATICALLY CAPTURES from calls (!!), which has probably saved me hours of personal to-do list management and in client follow-up.

The secret and totally unexpected star for me, though, is the "executive coach" review of call transcripts. While imperfect (it determines the call's goals based on context), scanning those summaries after each call has provided meaningful insight about my communications patterns and opportunities for growth. Highlighting categories like clarity, decisiveness, friendliness and listening has provided 10 second insights that help me make conscious tweaks to my approach.

I wish some of the more sophisticated features on the project management side felt less intimidating to set up for this decidedly non-linear thinker, but I'm sure once I crack them they'll save me hours too.

Great experience overall! Easy to use, reliable, and saves me a lot of time. Highly recommended!

Motion App has been amazing for my daily life. It significantly reduces the time I spend planning and organizing, allowing me to focus more on actually getting things done. A couple of weeks before my yearly subscription is over, I finally found time to delete the account and personal information, but instead of Settings or any place where I can manage my account information, Motion is begging me to prolong the subscription. I sent an email, but there are only AI assistants.

Have motion on my phone, so if I'm awake in the middle of the night, all the things I'm thinking about get added as tasks on motion, this way they will be scheduled for the next day, and if I don't complete them, they continue to be rescheduled until they are done, super helpful for me. It’s easy to use, and the auto arrangement of tasks is helpful. Yet, the marking of work day or off day is not flexible.

Motion is using deceptive 'Dark Patterns' to trick users. Their pricing page clearly displays a 'Try for free' button for the monthly plan (I have the screenshots to prove it). However, they charge the full amount immediately upon signup.

When confronted, support admitted the interface is 'confusing' but still refused a refund. Looking at other reviews, this is clearly a systematic issue and not an isolated 'glitch'. It might only be $50, but it’s the principle of honest business. I have now initiated a chargeback through my credit card provider. Save yourself the headache and stay away from this company.

We’ve been using Motion for about 2 years now and it’s seemed to hardly evolve during our time using it. The AI calendar was the main draw, and works awesome, but the project management side of things is greatly missing tons of features such as subtasks. Their AI agents aren’t easy to work with, seeming more like a gimmick to stay trendy and acquire more customers rather than show real usefulness. Their mobile app is just ok. Their software overall needs some serious UX love, especially need to incorporate a true AI-at-your-side similar to Shopify’s Sidekick. Too many inefficiencies such as bulk task creation that an AI “sidekick” could help solve.

Charged me for a service I don't use. Reading other reviews, presumably I clicked for a free trial that without me using it they have converted into an annual subscription. I have been charged £205, I don't even know exactly what it is I've been charge for. Obviously not happy that they clearly have my payment details and can seemingly charge me whatever they want whenever they want. Will be contacting the bank to see what I can do about it.

I came to Motion not looking for another productivity app, but for a scheduling layer that could actually think. As someone running multiple business lines simultaneously, I needed something that could bridge strategic planning and daily execution without manual translation every morning.

After using Motion as the calendar execution engine inside a larger stack connected to ClickUp for task management, here is what I found.

The AI time-blocking is genuinely adaptive. When priorities shift, Motion reschedules intelligently rather than just flagging a conflict. The multi-calendar view across accounts creates coherence where I previously had noise. And the way it works backward from deadlines to build buffer time has real operational value for project-based work.

The main friction is the ClickUp integration. Two-way sync requires workarounds and third-party automation to function reliably. For operators who want a clean hands-off pipeline, that gap matters. The mobile experience also lags behind desktop, and the scheduling AI could be more transparent about why it makes the decisions it does.

That said, when Motion is positioned correctly in a connected stack, it earns its place as a time intelligence layer. It is not a standalone project management solution, but as the execution engine that translates priorities into a scheduled day, the ROI on reclaimed mental bandwidth is real.

Recommended for operators and knowledge workers ready to build around it rather than just drop it in.

Love it! My favorite feature is- if I don't check something off my list its moves it to the next day. No forgetting! Great for ADD brain.

Worst app ever. A monthly membership was advertised with a free trial. It switched into a yearly 400£ membership charged to my card. No response from customers service.
App itself is bad too.

The tool is very useful, but pricing has increased a few times. I wish there were a discount for students or military, that would help me justify the cost. As it stands right now, I'm not sure I'll be able to renew, though it is certainly a great program.

I find it does not capture all of my incoming emails for my inbox. It is also really clunky on the project management side. I need to write a management report every week, and this does not help with High-level management.

This has changed my productivity forever. I will never go back to any other calendar/planning software!
