Sharon at Vale blinds couldn’t have been more helpful. I needed new blinds for a pair of elderly (25+ year old) Roto skylights and had tried other suppliers, all of whom gave up when I couldn’t supply a model reference. Working from just the glass measurements Sharon found the model and specified replacement blinds. These arrived promptly and fitted, after minor adjustment to the side rails. They have transformed the skylights and I am very pleased with them. I would heartily recommend Vale Blinds.

Very poor written instructions. Ensure you secure the runners after attaching the blind cassette. Watch the video and you will fit the blinds easily. The video instructions are not the same as the written ones. Vale blinds would not accept the written instructions are wrong.
Customer service is average, depends who you speak to. Debbie very helpful, her colleague not so.

Excellent product at very competitive price. Good company to deal with - always there at the end of the telephone line.

Vale Blinds is a great little company, customer-focused and pro-active. I bought a total of 5 Velux blinds from Vale Blinds but one was faulty. I needed to send a video to Velux to demonstrate the problem but Sharon at Vale Blinds was very helpful in organizing a refund for me. Prices are very competitive and deliveries were prompt. I would have no hesitation in buying from them again.

A great company to deal with. We have some unusual skylights that are difficult to find blinds for. They were excellent at checking what blinds would fit. They arrived within a week and were very easy to install. Highly recommended.

We bought some blinds for our Dakea skylights and they are fantastic. So easy to install and completely black out.

My Velux blind has broken due to poor design as velux have used plastic for the rings where the strings run through and this has gradually worn out. This is clearly a product not fit for purpose however Vale blinds consider that a £75 blind has done really well by breaking after less than 4 years!!! Needless to say they have refused to do anything about it. Not the kind of customer service I expect and will definitely not be buying anything from them again.

I asked them for help in identifying the manufacturer of my roof windows, which is a niche vendor. They replied swiftly and gave me the right name. Great customer service!

Ordered a Velux blackout blind through this company and glad to say it was very straight forward. Ordered very late one night and received the week later. Installed very easily, instructions included, along with plenty screws and a screwdriver. Cant fault this company. Thankyou

Ordered some solar powered Velux blinds back in March. They e-mailed me almost straight away to note that these blinds are shipped directly from Velux, and have only recently gone back in to manufacturing so there would be a delay in getting my order to me. I loved this pro-active contact. All too often you find retailers that would gladly take your money, and wouldn't hear another word from until you chase them. The blind arrived pretty much exactly on the date they said they would, we fitted them today and they are just fantastic. Brilliant service all around.

I recently ordered a bracket for a Velux roof blind from Vale Blinds at a cost of £8.40, (including postage). It arrived in good time but when I opened it, I discovered that it consisted of a small piece of plastic and three small screws. A few days later I received a Velux Duo roof blind, also ordered from Vale Blinds, only to find that the same bracket was included. To cut a long story short, I complained to Vale Blinds, who responded immediately with an apology and a full refund for the bracket. They pointed out that this is the price Velux charge for the bracket and that they had not added to that price, which is correct. Also, that the bracket is not normally included with this particular blind. Velux products are not cheap but I believe they are quality products and I understand their after-sales service is second to none. However, I can hardly think that anyone receiving these Velux brackets would be happy with their purchase.
I should like to thank Vale Blinds for an excellent response to my complaint and I shall certainly consider buying from them in the future.

Electric blind keeps breaking, on my 3rd battery in 3 years and customer service is pretty bad. Should look after your customers better!

Excellent Customer Service received from Sharon at Vale Blinds. I send an email to the company to see if they could assist me to identify what Rota blind I required as it was not apparent from the glass size. Sharon was so helpful and after a few emails, Sharon identified what I required. She was excellent, if only all companies where the same to deal with. I could not recommend Vale Blinds more highly - they were excellent and big thank you from me!

This company was recommended to me by a professional blinds installer. I have received great service through order process to completion. As amature blind installer I have had questions with measurements etc, but all that was solved and the blind made By Luxaflex through Vale Blinds is so amazing and so amazing again!, that i am taking time to review. It is perfectly serving the purpose and looks great. Highly recommended the company and the products. Was easy to install too, looking through the manuals online.

Ordered Luxaflex Tru-Fit blinds where they have helped corrected and refunded after I informed them about the dimensions. They have then proceeded to help confirm with Luxaflex on the correct method to measure. All via email which I prefer.

Delivery was a lot faster than expected. Very happy with Vale Blinds and would definitely go back.

Great customer service. I had a query about a blind I purchased some years ago and although it was out of warranty, the service department gave me good advice about what part was most likely to be needed and offered me a refund if it wasn't. Happily, it's all fixed now - and their prompt helpful service much appreciated.

We live in a cottage with beams so it’s been difficult finding something to fit our windows. These Intu blinds are prefect! We ordered 1 to make sure we had measured correctly then ordered another 4 blinds. Fitted this evening in no time. Super quality, Great service. We are so happy with them.

I ordered velux blinds from vale blinds which were promptly delivered without fuss. I then went back and ordered a pole to be able to operate them without standing on a chair. I had to ring and ask for help and was impressed by the helpfulness and politeness of the lady I spoke with on the phone today. They have a good online system providing information about delivery times after you've placed your order too and the products I bought were very competitively priced.
