Ordered sign online
No contact stating when delivery could be expected but sign turned up approaching 4 weeks later. Fitting instructions stated how to fix using glue supplied but no glue sent with sign. I emailed Shaun asking for the glue as I did not want to fit with any old glue and find the sign fell off and broke.
His reply was
“The glue is just an all purpose superglue.
Have you received the fitting instructions and plugs?”
Well obviously I received fitting instructions or I wouldn’t have known I needed glue.
So now I’m expected to buy my own glue to erect the sign. If you wanted me to buy glue you should have stated this in the instructions.
If I erect the sign and it falls off I hope you will replace it FOC!
Your company has failed with communicating to you customers and also providing inadequate fixing instructions.
This is my 4th purchase from you but I don’t think I’ll be buying further signs from your company.

I placed my order online but unfortunately my payment did not go through.Shaun was kind enough to email me and payment was made.I emailed a couple of weeks later and Shaun again replied telling me when it would be delivered. The sign arrived as stated and the quality is fantastic!Thankyou,brilliant product and service!

I placed my order on December 2024, and it’s now late January 2025. I have not received my item, nor have I even received a dispatch notification. Attempts to contact the company by phone have been unsuccessful as they do not answer. They do not reply to emails. I have lost over £40. Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend this business. DO NOT USE.

Product is ok, and website good. But they do not ever ever answer the telephone, and they didn't reply to emails. Fortunately I had paid by Paypal, and raising an issue brought a response - but it was unhelpful and patronising "It's not complicated, mate". I wanted new fixings - they just told me to to B&Q - after several weeks of trying to get some sort of answer. Avoid.

The product itself is okay. The service is pretty hopeless. I had no order acknowledgement or notice that delivery was going to take place, and when nothing arrived after a month I sent email asking where my item was. I received reply saying all orders received before a certain date had been shipped. Which wasn’t very helpful, because my order had been put in before that date, but I still haven’t received anything. Emailed again I was told who the carrier was and to check on their website. The website said my order had been delivered. Went back to Welsh house slate signs who told me to search my garden to see if it had been put somewhere. Eventually found it in a bin that I never use. No note, no email to say delivery had taken place – how was I meant to know the item had been stuffed in a bin in my garden.
This company really needs to up its customer service and it’s carrier needs to improve their game as well.
Cannot recommend, and would not use again.

Website very easy to navigate. Able to choose various types/sizes of slates, including style and font sizes for signage. Concerned after two weeks plus there had been no correspondence. Being unable to leave a phone message I contacted the company through their contact page. Received a prompt response stating that the house sign was in the process of being delivered with a tracking reference. When received, the 17 x 7 inch house name was superb, demonstrating excellent skill and craftsmanship. Package was very robust with layers and layers of foam! Clear instructions given to mount for hidden fixings. Please thank the staff for an excellent house sign.

Excellent website and slate arrived looking like the one I designed.
Only problem was I thought the website said arrive within 5 days. It should say allow around 3 weeks for delivery.
Quality is what I expected for the price paid.

Received my order a few days back after 7 days of placing it ( I think is pretty good considering these are bespoke hand made products)
Good communication all way through, any questions were replied to within the hour.

Received my sign last week, absolutely stunning it’s now been mounted on my wall with the fixings provided with easy installation. Kept in contact all the way through as I wanted to make some adjustments, would highly recommend as I’m extremely fussy thank you Welsh slats house signs fab service.

After writing a v poor review 3 days ago I am compelled to write another. I have been waiting for my sign for two weeks. Ring and written every day. No acknowledgement to my request to cancel my order.
The comments on customer service are true they did not respond until psypal intervened. Given that the sign arrived after two weeks and it was very well packed and I am happy with the sign although it was too late for my sons birthday

Took 3 weeks to arrive. Came well packed. The sign is a nice size and good thickness. I did read some of the reviews and was worried but really happy with my purchase.

Ordered a sign 3 weeks ago... Still hasn't arrived. They don't answer the phone. Managed to get hold of them by email. And the said it was going to be dispatch 7 days ago... Still no "sign."
Only positive is I ordered through PayPal and was able to get my money back.

I have just received my two slate signs and they were perfectly wrapped and delivered when stated. I had a tracking number sent by email and was able to see when the signs would be arriving. The signs are perfect and just want we wanted. I was never able to speak to anyone but had a reply by email straight away.

Damaged House Sign
Sign arrived chipped and damaged. Initial communication was fine, until it was suggested that I return the slate sign to be fixed. This was no issue, if I as the customer was not expected to incur the cost of sending the sign back. Every time I asked if the company would arrange the return, I would just get ghosted and when communication happened after several emails, the same issue ensued. The company avoided and ignored a reasonable request and were unwilling to pay for the sign to be returned for repair. Who expects a customer to pay shipping on an item that arrived damaged to be fixed? Very very poor customer service. Would not recommend this company at all.
