Poor cancellation procedure
Trip was cancelled due to lack of interest and a letter was sent (backstory not the issue).
Still let me pay balance after trip was cancelled (before the letter arrived) on the website. Personally I think an email or a note on my account would have been more effective.
They take your money instantly but I've got to wait 3-5 days for a refund after paying for a service that no longer existed.

Firstly, we're very sorry to hear that your holiday was cancelled. We understand how disappointing this must be, and please know it was not a decision taken lightly. Unfortunately, it was not viable to operate the holiday on this occasion.
Our booking system is designed to prevent balance payments on cancelled holidays, so we’ve flagged this issue with our software provider for immediate review.
Refunds typically take a few working days to reach your account, which is due to standard banking procedures and not a delay on our part.

Hotel Derwent Torquay.
This has been reported to the company, but no reply forthcoming. The coach, driver, and cleanliness were very good. The hotel Derwent in Torquay was 2 star, not 3 star. My room 229 was unbearably hot, had torn, stained, faded curtains, which did not fit the windows. There was paint off the radiator, a hole in the wall, plug coming off sink, seat coming off toilet. Seagulls screaming outside room at 5am. The beds were clean and tidy. I did not report this as I was so tired. The food was average, service was good. The lifts were only just working. Entertainment was poor, except the comedian. We were promised by the company an optional excursion, but were told there wasn’t one. We were very disappointed, and had to make our own arrangements.

We’ve worked with the TLH Derwent Hotel for many years, and it has consistently been a popular choice for its cleanliness, comfort, and attentive service. That said, we fully appreciate that every experience is personal, and we’re sorry to hear that yours didn’t meet the standard you were hoping for.
We’ve spoken with both the Hotel Manager and the Coach Driver regarding your comments, but unfortunately, they have no record of any concerns being raised during your stay. Had they been made aware, we’re confident the hotel team would have done their best to address them promptly. As the issues were only brought to our attention after your return, we’re limited in the actions we can now take - though please rest assured your comments have been noted and shared with the hotel.
Regarding the optional excursion, we do our best to offer these, when possible, but as outlined in the itinerary, they are not guaranteed.
We’re genuinely sorry that the hotel didn’t live up to your expectations on this occasion. We take great pride in working with trusted partners and aim to provide enjoyable, well-supported holidays for all our travellers.

Holidays
In response to an email, saw a trip that appealed to us, so booked online for which we received a discount. It was very easy to make the booking and the confirmation was almost immediate, showing seat numbers etc. very pleased with how quick it was.

Wembley SUFC
Overall good service , friendly staff
Obviously in training as well and got a bit lost at Wembley and we did a loop around the stadium until we found the right coach park , which we had a laugh about
all went smoothly on the journey back to Sheffield
My only gripe was the cleanliness on my seat , basically the tray on the seat back in front was filthy, it had what looked like chewing gum and a lot of what looked like black hair stuck in it so I could not use it
I did ask the staff if they could sort it prior to departure and was told they would find something to clean it but they didn’t and never actually came back to me.
