I cannot praise this company and their staff enough. Emma Bunyan, my appointed caseworker for my move to Australia from the UK has kept me updated and informed throughout the entire process. In addition she was friendly and supportive throughout.

Alan, Louise and Myles, who were my removalist crew on the day were brilliant. They worked fast and efficiently and were very friendly and helpful and their skill and experience was clearly evident.

The stress of packing up my 20 years of living in the UK was certainly made much less stressful and easier by the fantastic level of service from all involved with my move.

If you need to move across town or across the world you will not go wrong if you use Williams and Yates, I can wholeheartedly recommend them.

William & Yates moved me from Warwickshire to Bedfordshire last Monday. The day was stressful but the staff were amazing. The day started off with Emma from the office calling to let me know who was coming and when. Dillon and his team arrived on time and packed up my home in no time at all. We then went down to my new home and the team waited patiently until we had the keys. Although it was a long day they left the same as they came smiling and extremely polite. I cannot fault the service from start to finish, highly recommend.

Smooth and efficient furniture move. 10/10. Crew members George, Myles, Alex & George are all incredible. Would recommend.

I recently visited Williams and Yates Shippers, who are assisting us with the shipment of goods to the USA. Up to this point, communication with the team has been excellent, and meeting them in person only reinforced our confidence. Maria, Martin, and Mark were all extremely pleasant, helpful, polite, and courteous.

We also want to acknowledge the team members who collected goods from our other locations — they, too, were incredibly kind, helpful, and caring throughout the process. Their professionalism and attention to detail have truly stood out.

The warehouses are new, very clean, and well-organized. We genuinely couldn’t have asked for a better team to handle our move at this stage. We highly recommend them. Thank You!!

Our experience with Williams & Yates has been outstanding. Their client service is genuinely the best we’ve encountered — responsive, supportive, and incredibly patient. Our move (London-California) was unusually complex: the date shifted multiple times, and the entire process stretched over more than a year due to circumstances outside our control. Not once did the team make us feel like an inconvenience. They handled everything with calm professionalism and a relationship-focused approach that’s rare in this industry.
Special thanks to Ayden, Jake, Maria, and especially Aaron, who guided us through the final stage with clarity and care. The packing and loading in London were fast, efficient, and handled with real attention to detail. The crew — Dylan and Ryan Harrison — did an exceptional job preparing everything for shipment.
Our belongings arrived in California quicker than expected. Most of the timeline delays happened on the U.S. side due to customs and reconsolidation, but even there, the partner company was organized and professional. Everything was delivered safely, with minor, reasonable damages — all the important pieces arrived in perfect condition.
We felt fully supported and safe in their hands throughout the entire process. We highly recommend Williams & Yates to anyone looking for an international moving company that combines excellent service with genuine care for their clients.

Great experience from start to finish. Polite and professional team, well organised, excellent care taken with all packing. One step up from any other removal company I have used previously.

Absolutely no complaints about the company. They did a video survey, submitted a quote and were not fussed about some minor changes along the way. The team arrived on time to pack up some stuff for store and some for delivery elsewhere in the UK the next day. Michael was immensely efficient, ably helped by his assistants on both days. I would definitely recommend them.

Williams and Yates did an exceptional job from start to finish. We didn't have a clue how to go about moving our household furniture from England to California and they were very understanding and made the move easy and took away all my anxiety. Jake and Maria Rodriquez kept me up to date with what I needed to do and were very quick to respond to any questions that I had. The UK packers were amazing and took great care with every piece of furniture, plus my china, mirrors, etc. and even our baby grand piano. I hate to have to mention this one fact because their service was so good, but our piano got a small chip when delivered to our US home, however , Williams & Yates insurers covered the total cost of the repair, (minus a fee), and it now looks as good as new, so we are happy. My husband and I strongly recommend William and Yates. No need to look anywhere else!

Excellent service delivered. Two young men and a young woman, well mannered who knew their job very well. At times, they had to proove their skills manouvering the furniture down the inner stairs which was not easy at all!
No wall scratches or dirt left behind.
Customer service was very helpful and attentive as well.
I will definitely use their service again when needed.

The service from start to finish has been exceptional. We received clear updates before, during and after the shipment had been picked up. The packing team were courteous and did a fantastic job packing everything in such a timely manner. Aaron Skinner has been tremendous at answering our questions and resolving any issues. I would highly recommend Williams & Yates.

Covel and Myles were great, polite, courteous and considerate movers, helping us do a two move collection and then taking the items to Cheltenham and installing them in the correct area's for my daughter - fantastic job guys- thank you.

I have a been meaning to write this review for a while Williams and Yates have provided me excellent service on several moves that they have completed recently the team play particular attention to detail especially around particular circumstances of our move that needed to be confidential I would like to thank Michael Dylan Jake and Dan they are an absolute asset to the company

Brilliant service from start the finish. The team excelled our expectations at every stage of our move. We used their unpack service too which made life so much easier. Maria was super helpful with the customs process and Dylan and the team went above and beyond paying great attention to detail.

UPDATE

Since our original review, W&Y reached out asking how they could come to a resolution for the issues flagged below and agreed that the service level we received was not acceptable.

We asked for a partial refund and received this.

To round out the review, we appreciate that they did not ignore the issue. It may be that our experience was a one-off, given the significant refund they were willing to offer.

We booked the full service for our move-in and move-out on the same day (i.e. packing up, supply of packaging, as many movers as needed to get things done, a maid service for the day of moving).

We both have limited time off from work so were willing to spend on a premium service in order to ease the stress of moving. Cost was not a deciding factor when choosing, we were actually considering Cadogan Tate, but saw William & Yates had a good review on which.co.uk

While the movers themselves did their best, and we only have positive feedback for them, the company coordinator did not uphold his end of the contract.

This included:
- Half the number of movers showing up, because the right number were not booked correctly. Because of this, our moving truck was left unattended for hours (we eventually figured this out and one of us stood outside to monitor). The move also took much longer than it should have. Throughout the movers were complaining about the poor coordination of the head office, and two contractors from another company showed up to help when it became clear it would not be possible to get everything out in time (we had been told they were all in house).
- The maid service not being provided, because he forgot to book it. Instead the normal movers (who confirmed they are not meant to do the maid service and had been told there was no maid service) did their best, which included stuffing things in random drawers and leaving things on the floor. The maid service is meant to be two specialised contractors who put things away in the proper place, etc.
- When we complained about the maid service, Aaron (the coordinator) initially claimed it had been provided. He eventually did agree to send someone in a few days later, but when he did so, he arranged for only one person to come in as he claimed most of the work had been done already.
- Unsurprisingly, one person to organise an entire house after it has been left in a state was not sufficient and also not what was contractually agreed on (we were promised two people not one). Aaron’s suggestion was then to send someone the following week, we initially said this was OK, but this was never confirmed.
- We then reached out to Aaron (who had still not replied or confirmed the additional maid service) to say we no longer wanted the very delayed second half of the maid service, as we had muddled through quite a bit of the stuff already and it was pointless at this stage. We asked for a refund but he refused on the basis that there was a cancellation charge for the maid service.

We can’t say if our experience would have been better with another company, but I would strongly advise reconsidering booking William & Yates if you are between them and another company.

We had part of a house content to move to Canada from the UK, W&Y were fast to provide a reasonable quote online. It was easy to set up a pickup date, the movers packed everything carefully. The shipment arrived promptly, it was easy to clear the customs. The local carrier contacted us in a timely fashion. Everything went well. Recommended.

My experience with the crew starting with Nikki Kane and Aaron was so wonderful ,I did not have to worry,everything from packing collecting and delivery went so smoothly ,would definitely recommend
