Awful experience with Wizfair Travels (wizfairtravels.com). I booked my family’s trip months in advance, expecting everything to be properly confirmed and handled. Just days before our departure, I discovered that my reservation could not be found on the airline’s website. I contacted Wizfair Travels multiple times and was repeatedly told that everything was fine and that I would receive a call back with a new confirmation number — that call never happened.
I eventually contacted the airline directly and found out that our reservation had been canceled. It was only after I confirmed this myself that Wizfair finally treated the situation seriously, just two days before our trip.
To make matters worse, the replacement option they provided was not what I originally paid for. I had purchased direct flights, but they tried to place us on connecting flights instead. The amount of stress, uncertainty, and frustration this caused my entire family right before our trip was unacceptable. A travel company should provide reassurance and solutions, not leave customers to discover major issues on their own at the last minute.
The way Wizfair attempted to compensate us was also extremely disappointing. They offered to cover our carry-on bags, but those were already included in our original booking, so this was not really a compensation or resolution — it was something that should have been included anyway. They also offered a $50 credit per person toward a future booking with Wizfair, but after this experience, we have no intention of booking another trip with them. That offer felt completely meaningless compared to the stress and inconvenience their lack of communication caused.
I would not recommend using Wizfair Travels. This experience caused unnecessary anxiety for my family and could have been avoided with proper communication and customer service.
