They then advised this was in fact BS and that payments would be made by the end of Feb. How are we approaching the end of February and STILL people haven't been paid. How is this even allowed? They trying to eek out what little interest they can get?

Expect the unexpected - is it even unexpected...
So they initially agreed to pay customers their redress amount by the end of January. This had been agreed MONTHS ago and communicated to all impacted customers.
They then let people down by only managing to organise a pitiful payout of 4.3p to the pound.
Not only does this happen but they THEN proceed to tell people that payout will be made 4 weeks from receiving the information of their pathetic payout. We received this info at the end of Jan - when they promised payouts would be made.
It's now been 3 weeks since we were told within 4 weeks we'd be paid. The payout date continues to be moved and lies continue to be told.
Surely now, people can honestly pursue legal aid against this company for their continued lies which are all documented.
I doubt we'll actually be paid (they'll claim incorrect bank details were given etc).
For those impacted - expected this to drag out longer than initially anticipated.
My credit file, which is my main gripe, should have already been updated by now but still their records show - even the ones which they promised wouldn't.
This company is so awfully run. The main people in charge do not deserve another position of power. Hopefully they have to take a few steps down the ladder.

Zero stars would be useful wonga took unauthorised payments mounting to £420 leaving me with no money for two weeks couldn’t feed my kids nothing. Customer services at the time were horrible to me and not putting the money back I cancelled all cards and made sure they couldn’t steal again. Now after the past year of fighting to get it back I was told I would be refunded £420 now I revived a email stating I would only get £18 back on the 31st of January. Absolutely disgusting all payday loans need scrapping.

I received a email 02/05/19 To confirm my claim had been submitted and customers within 4 months of submitting their claim by 30/09/2019 will received payments by 30 Jan 2020.
29/10/19 another email - in a position to make payments to customers end of January 2020.
10/01/2020. Email just a communication “email” again amount will be paid end of January.
Today:
Amount they are going to pay (wasn’t expecting miracles) although redress was 6k! Received peanuts...however, now payments will be paid within 4 weeks!!! Absolutely disgusting! It’s insulting enough the amount I’m going to receive and to have evidence that payments Should be paid by end of this month...now gone back on their word, keeping a hold of my money Now until another 4 weeks before these scum bags pay out!!! They don’t answer emails or phone calls....they are just sitting on the interest of My money! I’m fuming....pay us out as the 3 previous emails stated that this is end of January 2020!!

Just had my email from the administrator dealing with wonga claims. £9.32. To be received within 4 weeks. Think i will blow the lot in one on a pint of Guinness and a jazz mag.

what a joke of an organisation!
Nobody ever bothers to reply to emails, especially after weeks of emailing, and if you try and call you are constantly on hold with the message saying " all our agents are busy". I am trying to update my details to receive payment, yet nobody can be arsed to get in touch with me.
Again, seems Wonga are still continuing to scam people.

I can only reiterate what everyone else has already stated.
I'd had a claim reaching it's final stages with the Financial Ombudsmen, until the company decided to wind up.
I don't expect much from the thousands owed as a result. What I did at least expect was them to stick to their word - which was that redress payments would be made 'by the end of January 2020'.
Unless things miraculously change in the next 2 days, they've blatantly lied. Not only have the lied for a substantial amount of time but they've refused to allow customers to have any access to their customer service team. They've basically hidden under the table and waited for this all to pass which is quite frankly a pathetic way of dealing with things.
Not holding my breath over the coming days.

They stated at the end of January impacted customers would be paid.
How is it the 21st January and we still don't know the dividend payment amount. Useless.
I assume all customers will get absolute pittance to what they're genuinely owed.
When will redress be paid and how much!?
I've been given my redress breakdown. Granted I'm aware I won't be paid the full amount but I have yet to hear anything from the company or those in charge of the winding up.
I've been told accounts are to be paid by 31st January 2020. I'm assuming this means ON that date rather than BY that date as I've heard nothing.
I did want to confirm my bank details were correct but I can no longer log in. Zero communication throughout - just awful. Good riddance.
