The Woodstock team, led by George Gilpin, have been top drawer and 10/10 for all our conveyancing and property needs. Always responsive, concise, polite and helpful, using no-nonsense plain English. We have bought and sold several properties with George’s help over the last 6 years, with multiple different lenders and we have never had anything except exceptional service. I am a widow and found myself needing legal advice as advised by my financial advisor. I contacted a few local companies, most were uninterested, my financial concerns were not worth their time.

Helen and Nancy have been absolutely amazing during our recent conveyancing journey. I'm a carer for a gentleman who is elderly and knows little about the twists and turns leading up to exchange of contracts. They have both been amazing with him, gently explaining things every step of the way and reassuring him that things were progressing well.

My background is usually buying properties as investments and I have bought and sold maybe 20 houses in the last 15 years, so I have had a bit of experience dealing with solicitors. We have never had a solicitor quite in the same league as George and we would certainly never use one again that came as part of the mortgage offer. Recently we came across George Gilpin on a recommendation to purchase our family home (after almost 25 years living in army accommodation) and also to sell our holiday let. We then went on to use George to help close up a trust fund that held a property.
If you ever have the luck to be able to use George you are in for a treat. Hannah who is his assistant is also highly efficient.
George was ALWAYS two steps ahead, ALWAYS waiting on the other solicitor and ALWAYS in touch and on the end of the phone or email. We wanted him on our team as we knew he had our best interests front and fore.

Harvey Shulman is a superb asset to the company. I reached out to Woodstock with an initial enquiry regarding a legal property manner and I was laid out over 5 options of possibilities. Always being humble and adopting without prejudice approach. suggesting ideas and agreements to go for, highlighting a few ways to react and respond to the situation.
