Ordered a fridge freezer on 14th May to be delivered on the 26th May. Everything seemed fine and received automated emails updating me with the status of my order. On the 26th, I received my text from the delivery company with my 4 hr delivery slot. I had defrosted my own fridge freezer, as they were collecting my old as they delivered the new. All my food was in a cool box awaiting the new fridge/freezer. The problem was the Fridge never turned up! Woolworths were unbelievably unhelpful telling me "We cannot deal with this until we find out what happened to your delivery. This will take at least 3 working day." 3 working days???? I have food to feed my family, including a small child in a cool box! This is totally unacceptable! I rang the delivery company directly and they had no idea where my product was or what had happened! The next day I could see that the status of my delivery had been changed to 'delivered'. This is now preventing me from actually cancelling my order and receiving a refund because as far as woolworths are concerned the item has been delivered! So Now I just have to wait! Its already been the 3 days that they originally said and still I have heard nothing from the delivery company or woolworths. When I call I just get told to be patient and they will be in contact soon! Its a shame that this well known company are using such a diabolical delivery company. I shall not order form Woolworths again!

Recently purchased Portofino 11 piece garden furniture. Was delivered very promptly by super delivery men. Easy to put together, great quality and very comfortable. Unfortunately, parasol was broken, but one call to "Woolies" and problem was solved. Due to nature of order - whole set would need to be redelivered and parasols exchanged - I was offered a 15% reduction to enable us to buy another parasol. Miss the actual shops and have never bought online from them, but wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.

I ordered a set of tea ,coffee and sugar containers which were supposed to arrive in a week to 10 days . This was then changed to a month before arrival and now it will take 2 months .At the moment they will arrive at the end of June ! You can have a hand made suite from Italy delivered quicker .!!!.Extremely annoyed and disappointed and cant understand the delay.

I bought the little tykes lawn mower for my grandsons birthday and he has mowed the lawn several times and mowed the carpets for mummy too. He loves it and will get loads of fun with it as will his older brother, if he get a chance !!!
Highly recommend this toy.

I admit this is the first time I have bought from Woolworths online...but I will be back. It must have been appx. 18 hours between order and delivery - and that was the 'standard' service. Item was exactly as described and well packaged. The quality of the item was more than matched by the quality of the service. Thank you!

Brilliant Way of purchasing New & varied items, with confidence & satisfaction.

I ordered a cooker that didn't work so I rung woolworths and they said because I payed direct that they couldn't replace my cooker!! So I had to send the cooker back and wait for upto 14 days for my money to be put back in my bank left me with out a cooker for over 2 weeks when they could off replaced it

I ordered a fridge freezer from here over a weekend and cancelled the order within a couple of hours as I realized my current freezer was jam packed and I would have to run down the freezer before I purchased a new one. My god it was hard to cancel and I phoned in as soon as the lines opened and I was assured it was now cancelled. About an hour later I received an email confirming delivery times for my order so I called woolworths back and was assured that it was cancelled this time but it would take a week or so to show up on my account and that I should phone the delivery company to confirm the cancellation. I did this and the delivery van and 2 men still showed up at my door with the fridge freezer. And as I type woolworths are still sending me emails chasing payment. This is stressful in the extreme so while I understand it was a mistake on my part for placing the order I would have expected after explaining to 3 different people on the phone not by email I did not want it that somewhere along the distribution chain the order could have been stopped. This would mean they weren't chasing me for money I don't have.

I bought sovme uniform trousers for my daugther. They did not fit. I went to the post office with the original packaging and the" return label". The latter was not prepaid and i had to pay 2.80 to send the trousers back. One week later i had not received any notification that the return had been received. So now i am short the cost of the trousers and the cost of the postage.
I would appreciate someone getting in touch.

We recently ordered a coffee table and TV unit with woolworths. The first came when it said it would and with no problems the second item not so much. They called to arrange delivery, I took a day off work to be in all day for this delivery to be called at 5pm and told the drivers have run out of hours and it won't be delivered. They then said they would call later to re arrange delivery, this never happened. I emailed to find out what was happening to be met with a person who held no sympathy with my situation or drive to resolve it. I cancelled this order and ordered elsewhere! Be warned!

I was very happy when I placed my order on the 27/03/15, as I thought I had a great deal! Delivery was expected by 02/04/15 in perfect time for Easter. Unfortunately, the eggs did not arrive until 08/04/15. Not very happy at all and after such a bad experience will never risk to use Woolworth again.

You just need to read the complaint posts on their Facebook page to get an understanding of the service you're likely to receive. They tell you to send an email, they don't reply. They send you furniture with missing pieces, then make you wait an indefinite amount of time for a replacement part. Not happy.

Bought this pram for my niece's first birthday, she loves
it. Helps her balance a lot. Shame about the click and collect, but that is not really your fault, it is the shop to where it was delivered.

scales delivered, clearly faulty returned easily, but only refunded for cost of scales and not £3.95 postage which I beleive breaks trading standards laws. As a result won't use again

Ordered a Frozen swimming costume in age 5 to 6 for my tall and slim 4 year old. Was too small all over and was cut very skimpily around the bottom and cut too highly over the legs so it looked quite inappropriate for a child. Would be very surprised if their buyer or garment techs had actually fitted this properly. Also had to pay to return it which is rare these days.

Ordered the Kidspace New Metro High Sleeper, which arrived as planned flat packed. Having dismantled our sons room to make space for the build, we started to assemble, both the wardrobe doors were scratched badly in part because the paint covering is extremely poor so rang Woolworths who ordered replacements, they said these would take 7 -10 days (they apparently cant send these by courier!!) we then discovered the desk top was scratched (same paint covering) and a piece was missing from the cupboard. Again rang Woolworths, again told it would take 7 - 10 days! 5 phone calls later and 3 weeks later we have 2 replacement doors (slightly scratched) and no other parts (oh and during one of the calls apparently orders take 10 - 14 days! we were misinformed) Woolworths have returned £14.99 P&P and have said they will return 10% (although this will take 7-10 days (or should that be 10 - 14 days!)) Anyway the bed is actually very nice (if you can get it undamaged) but Woolworths need to speed up their process.

I was looking to purchase an item over the £1500 (the cost was £1579), anyways I under stand they have to have limits so I rang spoke to someone and then credited my account by £700 (so in theory my available spend is now £2200). Anyway went to check order confirmation and it was still declined, I re-rang and the advisor had contacted who ever there end and was told I wasn't allowed to purchase this £1579 even though my available to spend was £2200. Long and short of it is I was £700 out of pocket for 3 days while they sorted out the refund. Total joke!
