I am 79 years old and I received my new water bill and it had shot up. As I live on my own I couldn’t understand it. I phoned Yorkshire Water to ask why this had happened and the young lady Nicolle explained what had happened ie a water leak. Which she told me what to do and put my account on hold until I had got my leak fixed.

I called Yorkshire Water to ask a question and spoke with a young lady called Muskaan who was so helpful and very professional throughout the call. She answered all my questions and didn’t rush me as that seems to be the usual nowadays. She said take your time, I am here to ensure your queries are answered. As an 82 year old disabled man it was so nice to get my queries sorted.

Shocking customer service
Resolve nothing after hours wasted on hold or talking to bots

Water pressure in house unable to shower/ wash and answer I was given is “get together with neighbours and pay £4/5k each as on a split mains”

Absolute disgrace- and laughable to receive a text saying water is “muddy” today

I am executor for my late mothers estate and was querying the water usage in the empty property. The man I spoke to was very helpful in explaining matters. I didn't have to wait long either to speak to a real person. It was a positive and friendly experience.

We have been waiting 4 weeks for a leaking pipe to be repaired at the top of our terrace. We have had to put stepping stones in the water ti get to and from our houses without wetting our feet. The water now has green algae growing on it. Cant get through to Yorkshire water on the phone. We have reported the leak online 4 times.

Yorkshire water what a load of crap , We moved HD5 Huddersfield area just under 6 years ago and we have had loads of water leaks not a few months go past without one and the water turned off , They come and fix them then not soon after it's leaking again , we have just had our water put back on yesterday and now the area has another leak so water off again, They should be paying us not us paying them.

Had no water for 12 hours, now back on. Spoke to two Yorkshire water reps and they were excellent!! One in particular called Adam.
