Mike first came to our aid years ago after I read one of his IT help articles in a local magazine. Having retired I no longer had the support of an IT department at work and wanted to know how best to use my own system; also some basic understanding of the applicaitons I was using and in particular how to avoid those self-inflicted IT glitches which invariably occur out of normal working hours.

I soon realised how lucky we were to have a “super tecky” close by. Mike is comfortable to have around on home visits, and genuinely enjoys helping local residents and businesses. He has vast experience in botht he public and private IT worlds and I doubt there isn't a problem he can't solve. And he always explains in an understandable way. From those years ago I stil have his explanatory back to basic notes which remain very useful.

We've been in touch again more recently since IT security has become so much more of a worryingly sophisticated issue. Still the same Mike Zero however. Quick, cogent, and as affable and patient as ever.

I have been using Mike Mansfield for a number of years regarding help in sorting out any computer issues. He has helped to remove viruses & get my PC working for optimum performance. Sometimes his help has been free, eg remotely setting up a new printer which was beyond me! He always gives a written report & explains a problem in simple language so I might stand half a chance of fixing to issue myself if it should happen again.

I am very pleased with the Zero42 service that Michael Mansfield has given to me. I have been in a scary situation with scammers and have called on Michael's expertise to sort it out. I can only thank him for his speedy and reassuring advice and recommend his company to anyone looking for a complete computer service.

I am very pleased to have this opportunity to give feedback on the service I recently received from Michael Mansfield at Zero42.
My iMac was running a little erratically and my usual”fixes” failed to make any difference!
I contacted Michael who took the iMac in for tests. It is quite an old machine and so it was agreed that the best course of action was to replace the old hard drive with a Samsung SSD. The work was completed within a couple of days and the difference it made to the operating speed of the iMac was very significant.
Michael explained clearly the extent of the upgrade and completed the work within the agreed budget.
Overall, I cannot recommend more highly the service provided by Michael Mansfield at Zero42. We are very fortunate to have this company on our doorstep in Walkford to solve our computer problems. Thank you.

My laptop was slow and infected (not measles !)
So mike fitted a new solid state hard drive ,much cheaper than I anticipated. Then got rid of all the infections and reset the laptop.
Now lightning fast and no issues with infections.
Absolutely brilliant service and Mike is very patient, friendly and explains the detail in a simple understandable way.
I can highly recommend Mike.

I let a bogus company gain access to my Computer, how lucky was I that I found Michael, he virtually had to start at square one to rid me of what they had done. He has helped me on numerous occasions in person or remotely. I would recommend Michael as he is an easily reachable god send to anyone with a Computer.

Michael provides the most excellent computer maintenance support which is invaluable at all times. In particular he responds promptly, effectively and sympathetically in cases where the system has been violated. I have had three such stressful experiences which he has resolved in the most thorough and reassuring manner. His friendly and caring approach is highly commendable in this competitive field.

Michael at Zero42 has a great breadth and depth of knowledge, and is also extremely good at explaining problems in simple terms.We have been very pleased with the work he has done for us,and can recommend without reservation his services.

Michael has set up our home computer and sorted it out twice for us when we've inadvertently allowed a virus in. He has made sure our security is up to date to try to defend against all known threats. He explains what he is going to do and how in language that I normally understand. We have found him to to friendly and easy going and very helpful.
