A dysfunctional and backward system
I'm visiting Ireland and I am experiencing a severe and volatile sciatic nerve compression that could potentially progress quickly to loss of control in my leg, and incontinence.
The private clinics are booked up for weeks, and the public hospitals are critically understaffed, and just want to shoo you home. An emergency here is literally if you're facing imminent death!!
I can't believe how much healthcare in Ireland has deteriorated. It's worse than in many third world countries. A shame and a disgrace...
