Darryn has been amazingly helpful over many months I've been trying to plan a trip, he has offered alternative trips to consider which made me also do the Cape Town connexion on my trip. I get very worried when booking trips on my own and Darryn has been amazing in helping with any queries I've had

Just booked an around the world custom made package, so far, so good. Most things are really flexible so if you want to stay somewhere longer and join on the next leg later you can, which means I didn't feel like I was tied down too much and if I really enjoyed somewhere I can stay longer.
Sarah has been absolutely fantastic. I have bombarded her with my fair share of emails, and there will probably be a few more coming since I need to know what to ask for at Christmas. She has always seemed to come back promptly with an easy to understand answer. Sarah tailored the trip to everything that I wanted and it is starting to become very real and I can't wait!

Before booking my place on the Xtreme Gap Year break to Bali I exchanged many emails with Shannon for assistance. Swift responses were received and she couldn't have been more helpful.

I got in contact with Shannon about the bootcamp and was unsure about a lot of stuff, I have to say I wanted to go because of all the helpful things she made me open my mind to it and was so good with answering every question I had even down to my payments thanks so much great help 👍

I am extremely impressed with the service I have received by Xtreme Gap and more specifically Darryn. From my initial enquiry till the date of booking he has been patient and understanding about my time frame and I have not felt pushed into making a decision. He has once again been very patient with both my random questions and inability to follow simple instruction (including but not limited to being unable to read a calendar correctly). He has been approachable and he has not made any of my questions appear trivial. He has made a particular effort to make all communication personalised and remembered things I have said in previous communications. Cannot rate highly enough.

I decided I wanted to do a months boot camp in SE Asia and came across Xtreme Gap. I dropped them a line with hundreds of questions and they have been more than helpful in coming back to me on a number of occasions with answers that have helped me make my decision to join the camp in Phuket.

I feel happy that I've done the right thing, looking forward seeing my fitness levels soar with you guys!

Very pleased with the service I received from darryn, at xtreme gap year, definitely exceeded my expectations with how much they help you, you don't feel like you are in it on your own.

For those who know me know I am not the fittest, strongest or fastest human in the world (unless In water, I'm still fast). With bad eating, terrible smoking habit and general lack of fitness I decided I needed a change. I convinced my sister to join me and we signed up for a month fitness holiday in Thailand.

We arrived in health heaven. A small street populated with outdoor gyms, massage parlors, hairdressers, health restaurants, juice bars, chemists, and even a suit shop. Immediately we felt comfortable, welcome and inspired.

We trained among some of the most knowledgable, patient and inspiring trainers anyone at any level of fitness could ask for. Days started with body fit and Cross training, an hour a piece before sitting down at the healthy eating cafe for a very hearty and healthy breakfast. Sweating in the Phuket heat and counting calories, we laughed and joked with some amazing people all like us looking for a new lease on their healthy lives.

Open mat ran from 11-1pm where the outdoor and indoor gym was at our disposal with supervision from trainers ready to help correct form, give advice or just bump some dirty rap while performing only what could be described as an outdoor thug workout.

4pm kicked off with boxercise or the assault course, followed by strength and conditioning training where personal bests were shattered every day and the day was closed with a spinning session or a Zumba class.

After a good days workout the conversations became even more animated and Interesting while scuffing down immense amounts of protein and veggies or the occasional pizza.

And this cycle repeated itself for 28days!

Eat, Sleep, Train, Repeat!!

Weekends provided great business for the massage parlors with sore muscles being attended to in order to be ready for the Monday where it happened all over again. Bars filled up, boat trips to phi phi were taken and the beach was hit in full force.

As much as I gained physically I gained in knowledge. It was always a case of "ok, here's why we do this". What i took away from this experience will stick with me forever and I will always look back on my holiday with fond memories.

I may not be entering Mr World anytime soon but I am certain this experience had kickstarted my new "lifestyle" of looking after my body and my mind equally!

I'm recently back from a two week stay with xtreme gap in Phuket staying at the Thailand Fitness Bootcamp and can honestly say I had the best experience of my life so much so that I'm trying to get a 3 month career break to head back over. Every trainer was absolutely fantastic in their own way. All so knowledgeable, professional and approachable and Kylie was absolutely amazing as a rep, she touched base before I arrived, was so welcoming, organised group trips and was not just fantastic with training advice and PT's but her life coaching advice has helped me more than she will ever know.

The main gripe I had with the trip was the meal plan vouchers. The food was all great quality but I found staying at the retreat where the food was outstanding with a huge selection, I found myself just paying for food there rather than walk back down to the training camp. I still like the idea of the meal plan mainly because that's when you got to properly chat with people and it had a really nice family feel, I just think it would be a lot better if there was a wider selection or even teaming up with another restaurant on the street to give another option of somewhere to eat a bit closer to the resort if a lot of guests are staying there. Other than that, I had a great trip.
