We received exceptional attention and service from Yellow Zebra from start to finish and have just completed a memorable two week holiday in East Africa. From the initial Zoom conversation with the service consultant (Sebastian) through to the smooth advice from the Operations team (Jo) to the 'in country support team (Oliver) - we felt very well supported. The itinerary was designed in line with our circumstances and wishes, all bookings and logistics ran like clockwork and no question went unanswered. Given we were a party of nine coming from multiple locations, this was not a straightforward exercise! Their choice of accommodation options and in-country support team made for an exceptional trip. First class.

A great start to the process of booking a holiday. There was a pricing issue in the middle but was handled exceptionally well. Their professionalism and willingness to resolve the situation turned what could have been a negative experience into a a very positive one.

I love planning my family vacations and rarely use a travel agent, but when it came to planning a safari in Africa I felt in over my head. I had a call with another agency first, but it just wasn't feeling right, so I did some additional research and came across Yellow Zebra Safaris, and more specifically Georgia Hinkley. From my first call with Georgia I could just tell that she got our family and what we were looking for on this bucket list trip! She helped walk me through the various parts of Africa and narrow down what would be best for our family's first time on safari. Then she helped me select our lodges, and wow...she knocked it out of the park! Specifically, we would have never found Walkers Plains if it weren't for Georgia, and this special lodge ended up being the highlight of our trip! There are no words to properly describe Walkers Plains...it's just something that has to be felt/experienced! We even cried when we left because it is truly that special! Georgia also helped us with accommodations at The Peech Hotel in Johannesburg and Old Drift Lodge in Victoria Falls. Both exceeded our expectations and then some! In addition, Georgia arranged all of flights between countries in Africa and all of our ground transporation and everything went flawlessly! Yellow Zebra had outstanding communication before, during and after our trip and we always felt safe, prepared, and in-the-know. Our once-in-a-lifetime bucket list trip went so well that we now can't imagine not doing it again and trying another part of Africa, and we owe it all to Georgia and Yellow Zebra Safaris! Georgia was always friendly, joyful and patient with any questions or changes I had along the way! We truly cannot thank her enough and assure you that you are in excellent hands if you book with Yellow Zebra Safaris!

Our experience with yellow zebra was excellent from start to finish. Sabastian help us figure out where we should go and the trip he designed was perfectly organized! From getting visas to having greeters make sure we made our connecting flights on our trip made us feel at ease. The lodges that sabastian suggested for us were all green safari ones and they were above and beyond what we expected! The lodges, the food the service our rooms and the people who worked there were exceptional! We can not recommend this company highly enough! Well done! I chose Yellow Zebra (YZ) as my Africa Safari travel speciality company based on a very positive experience friends had with them, and they have exceeded my expectations. My trip is over a year away and I’m so glad I didn’t wait longer to get started. I’ve just finished the design and planning process with a YZ Safari specialist, meaning the trip, including all accommodations, flights within Africa, specific tours, treks, etc. is now finalized and I’ve transitioned to the YZ Operations team. So, my review of the first phase is a 7 out of 5 stars! My specialist has been just fantastic! He has been really interactive and patient. With his guidance we’ve really crafted what promises to be the adventure of a lifetime. His knowledge and expertise regarding the countries and experiences, the camps and other accommodations, and all details no matter how seemingly minor has been so much better that I could have done on my own (which is usually how I travel) and I suspect on a level exceeding other safari speciality companies. I cannot recommend YZ highly enough. I’m ready to go now!

I have recently booked my 1st safari with yellow zebra and from the 1st contact call felt at ease as I am sure we are all the same as not sure what to expect but want to see everything in one go so Jamie put together 2 options giving just enough info not to confuse and baffle me I made my choice and we are booked to go next July just need to book flights and Jamie is going to help with that too.

I am going on an African safari to South Africa and Zimbabwe in October organized by Yellow Zebra Safaris / Emma Dunn. So I am excited but a little nervous going to places I haven't been to before. But I trust Yellow Zebra as Emma has organized four previous safaris that were excellent without any problems: northern Tanzania, Kenya, northern Zimbabwe and Zambia. Everything Yellow Zebra Safaris / Emma Dunn has planned has always exceeded my expectations; great photos, excellent guides and great lodges.

This was our second trip to Africa with Yellow Zebra Safaris and once again it was amazing and flawless. Experiencing all this with my son was the best. We worked with Catherine to talk through options and finally land on a much anticipated itinerary. Her expertise and guidance shaped an incredible trip to Zambia and Zimbabwe. We stayed at 528 Victoria Falls, Nkwali, Luangwa River and Tena Tena Safari Camps and the staff, guides, food, camps and wildlife experiences were all insanely good! My sister and I were very well looked after by Yellow Zebra and their local southern Africa tour company, Desert & Delta Safaris
First of all, their welcome and assistance at airports was much appreciated (Johannesburg, Victoria Falls and Maun).
Sam and team in the UK found us excellent accommodation in three locations - Batonka Guesthouse in Victoria Falls fitted the bill, and from there we thoroughly enjoyed the walk and boat trip at the Falls.
Then on to Camp Moremi on the edge of the Okavango Delta, which was superb - a huge thatched hut along a boardwalk, beautifully furnished and comfortable - with the sound of nocturnal wildlife below!!
Our second safari camp was at Savute with similar accommodation, beside a waterhole where plenty of elephants came to drink in the evenings.
At each place the food was delicious and very generous! Fresh ingredients and thoughtfully prepared menus. The public areas are lovely in both camps, a large bar and large restaurant area, a fire pit outside and swimming pool (too cold for me in winter!).
The pattern for safari holidays is Dawn Game Drive, midday rest, Sunset Game Drive, interspersed with lots of meals. At dawn we were kitted out with hot water bottles and blankets (which were necessary at this time of year) and at sunset, we enjoyed cocktails with a view.
The animals were not always easy to find, but in our time there, we saw four of the Big 5, only missing the rhino which have been evacuated to avoid the poachers. It was such a thrill to witness the African animals in the wild - the leopard being particularly special!
The staff at each camp couldn't have been more helpful and attentive. Absolutely charming.
All in all a definite 5* holiday. Thank you to the team at Yellow Zebra and Desert & Delta!

Everything promised was realized! Smooth transitions from airports and among campsites. All employees were prompt, curious and seemed to care about our comfort and welfare. We felt safe and cared for!

Aidan Dunlop was the major factor in making us choose YellowZebra. He brought many years as a guide in SA and a former resident of Cape Town to bear on our discussions about options. He proposed a number of trip options and was patient as our group considered the options, and remained flexible throughout our various discussions. Top notch advice at all times.
