Most enjoyable and relaxing experience
I had the most enjoyable and relaxing experience with yhangry and chef Ryan. It was the best decision to use the company for my birthday. The communication with the chef was very easy and prompt, the menu he suggested and the dishes he cooked were superb. My guests and I weee very impressed by the service. Will definitely recommend to others and use yhangry again myself.

Fantastic Chef Highly Recommend
Chef Adam was a pleasure to work with from start to finish! We spoke about the menu for weeks before my birthday, Adam was very helpful ensuring it was perfect and I had everything I wanted, nothing was too much for him. Adam arrived promptly and prepared, was polite and friendly! The food on the night was wonderful, we had a sit down meal for 30-40 people, served outside and quite a walk from the kitchen which is not an easy task but everyone said they loved the food! I was delighted that I booked Chef Adam and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a chef he is extremely talented and a joy to have.

We haven't held the event yet so Im just commenting on the 'accept invitation' link. My partner has invited everyone but when i try and accept through my personal email it just says that I can't reply to my own invite. Not a big deal really. I'm just making you aware of the issue.

Terrible company - Chef cancels at last minute
Terrible company. Our chef cancelled the day before our event. Of course we reached out to yhangry to help, the customer service was terrible. They tried to charge us an additional £200 to replace the chef! Overall shocking experience and we have had to find a reliable chef locally. Will never use this site again and this should serve as a warning - your chef will not turn up if you book with Yhangry!

We’re truly sorry to hear about your disappointing experience with us. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have your chef cancel the day before your event.
We want to clarify that when we found a replacement chef last minute, their rate was significantly higher, almost double the original price. We absorbed 75% of this extra cost ourselves and asked you to cover the remaining 25%. This decision was made to ensure your event could still go ahead, albeit at a higher cost, which I understand was far from ideal.
We apologize if this was not communicated clearly or if it felt like our customer service fell short during such a stressful time. Your feedback is invaluable, and we’re taking it to heart to improve our processes and communication.
We strive to provide a seamless and enjoyable experience for all our customers, and we regret that we didn’t achieve that with your booking.

Disappointing, do not use!
I booked an event on the 5th of August. It went great, however after everyone has left i noticed the damage done to my new hob, a corner has chipped off. I contacted yhangry and was put in touch with the insurance company. This is the worst experience of my life - it takes a week for their email system to load, which means they only respond once a week if you're lucky. It is the end of Nov and unfortunately i am still waiting to be re-reimbursed. First yhangry provided wrong bank details to the insurance company, so the payment bounced. Quite clearly Must be very difficult to copy-paste something sent via an email ... in the meantime yhangry was completely ignoring my emails asking for help with the insurance. It now turns out the policyholder, i.e. chef, has to pay the premium directly to me. Bank details have been shared with him, yet I have received no payment. Insurance wiped their hands and said it has nothing to do with them and i have to contact him directly. Yhangry ignores me. so all in all I have a broken hob and no reimbursement and i have to chase someone whose details i dont have.

Great experience from start to finish
Great experience from start to finish! From finding and selecting a private chef, initial communications with the chef to design our bespoke menu to the end of our event when all our guests were left impressed and full and the kitchen was left spotless - there was no stress! Would definitely use yhangry again!

It was very easy but just a few points - rather than having a bull on to click on saying “pay”, I’d have one saying “reserve”.
And I struggled to see the menus that the chefs put together when I first went in to the site.
