I took a two day private tour of Cairo with Your Egypt Tours. I highly recommend the tour as I had a great experience and loved my time in Cairo. From my initial inquiry of tours, Your Egypt Tours was very prompt and specific when answering my questions and planning my requested itinerary. My guide, Ahmed Ali, was very knowledgeable on all sites visited and answered all my questions confidently. As a female solo traveler it was important to me that I felt comfortable and safe through the duration of the trip and Your Egypt Tours exceeded my expectations. I was accompanied from the moment I stepped off the plane until the moment I re-entered security at the airport when leaving. With the private tour, Mr. Ali accompanied me to all sights I wished to see, as well as navigating the streets of Cairo to get coffee and/or food. I felt I had a great experience to not only see the main attractions of Cairo, but to also experience the culture of the city. I was also very happy with Mr. Ali’s willingness to take many photos and confirm I had enough time to enjoy the site before moving onto the next. Your Egypt Tours truly cares that their clients enjoy their time in Egypt and they ensure the best experience.

Wow! We just wrapped up an incredible 2 day visit to Cairo with Your Egypt Tours. This was my partner and I’s first visit to Egypt and we can’t say enough great things about our experience. From start to finish they took care of all of the details of our trip. Mona helped us to select the right itinerary for our short stay in Cairo and was clear, timely, and professional in all of her communication. We were picked up from the airport, guided through the visa and customs process, and rode in a lovely private van to our hotel with the help of Ahmed. Driving in Cairo is no easy feat and our driver Raf made us feel incredibly comfortable. We chose to visit the pyramids our first day and check out Cairo, the Khan el Khalili bazaar, and the Egyptian museum on our second day. Our guide, Mamdouh, was truly incredible. His knowledge, fun attitude, and professionalism made our experience so memorable. He is also a great photographer! Every detail of each day was taken care of including coordinating entrance fees, identifying which local vendors were reputable, and giving us a chance to learn more about the Egyptian culture. Every person we interacted with in the tour group is so welcoming and made us look forward to our next visit to Egypt. My wife and I had a fantastic time on our honeymoon in Egypt with the entire Your Egypt Tours team. They were extremely responsive and helpful from the initial email inquiry, as they clearly detailed the itinerary in advance and answered all of our questions along the way. Our time in all cities was well coordinated prior to our arrival, and we were in the safe hands of their airport travel team from the entry to Egypt until our departure. During the tour itself we learned so much from our friendly and knowledgable tour guides who ensured we found the tastiest food in each city. We would absolutely recommend this tour team for any first time or returning visitors to Egypt.

I would have to say that this was one of the best trips I have ever been on. For starters the drivers and the tour guides were extremely professional at all times. There was never a time where I had a dull moment. The drivers were always super safe and got me to my locations and spots with great timing. Another reason that this trip was super memorable was all of the tour guides knew the information super well. I learned so many new things about Egypt that I have never known before. I got to visit so many amazing architectural sites and so many important historic places to Egypt. They were always super amazing when ever you would ask for a picture. They never gave off the impression that they do not want to be there or they were bored. While I did not know any of them before I met them, they were super easy to talk to and it felt as if I was traveling with my own friends. They always respected your time and the money you put into the trip. Additionally they were always there for you no matter what. If you ever needed anything when you were dropped off at your hotel they were always a phone call away and they were willing to even come to the hotel to help you with whatever you needed. All in all I’m super glad with this trip and I feel that it was a great investment and everybody should definitely utilize Your Egypt Tours for their next trip.

We traveled to Egypt in June of 2022 to do a week-long tour of the ancient historic sites. The main sites we went to with Your Egypt Tours were the Giza pyramids, the sphinx, Coptic Cairo, Museums, Sakkara, and burial chambers and Valley of the Kings and temples in Luxor.

We traveled with our 8 and 10 year old boys. The company staff at Your Egypt Tours were very nice and accommodating. They were knowledgeable about the sites. The vans were comfortable, air conditioned, and we never ran out of water while we were enduring the heat. We also saw family one day in Cairo, and the company took us to see them and picked us up when we needed it (as part of the private tour package). Just the transportation flexibility was a great asset, as getting around Cairo was more time-consuming than we thought due to the size of the city and the big-city traffic there.

The schedule to see the sites ended up being a bit packed and intense (especially for our boys), but that was largely due to the fact that we only had 6 full days and they tried to fill as much as possible in for us, including the round-trip to Luxor. But the guides were very friendly and kind to our boys and our boys enjoyed interacting with them. The guides did their best to be playful and fun with our boys and that helped. I’d say they all became pals by the end of the trip :D

Overall we would recommend them as a very family-friendly and accommodating choice for providing very educated tour guides and flexible transportation services for an Egypt tour experience.

Mona did a great job in putting a very comprehensive, interesting, and diverse itinerary for us. Airport transfers (Mohammed Ali) were very punctual and helpful. Communicating in English was not a problem. We felt safe with the tour guides (Mamdouh, Walid, Ahmed) who were also very knowledgeable and were accommodating with some minor adjustments to our itinerary. Drivers were also very good, it is quite challenging driving around Cairo and Alexandria.
Tipping can be challenging as guides and drivers are changing throughout the tour. The Steigenberger Cecil in Alexandria is an older hotel. A more modern hotel with better amenities would be a better choice.
Overall, we were very pleased and have already recommended Your Egypt Tours to others. We felt more as guests than as tourists.

We were well taken care of on every leg of our trip. All details of travel were explained, pickups were timely, and little things like travel stops for water, snacks and bathrooms were frequently offered, and special requests were met as well. Our guides (Emad and Ashraf) were incredibly knowledgeable about history, the temples and tombs we visited, and modern life in Egypt. They were friendly and kind. This trip was educational and adventurous. Highly recommended!!

We toured with Taha and a personal driver from YET. They were prompt and courteous and we were able to pack a lot into our custom day tour: Giza, a camel ride, the museum of Cairo, the citadel and Coptic Cairo were AMAZING and we cannot wait to return to Cairo and more cities to see more of Egypt.
GO! It is not scary and you will not be disappointed! Egypt is a beautiful, historical and mysterious blend of ancient and Islamic art with wonderful people, sights, and foods.

Mona is wonderful. I would recommend her YET and Mona to anyone booking an Egyptian tour. She is detail oriented, quick in her responses, thorough and amazing at customer service. We went in early May, so it was hot a couple days in Luxor (40+), but we're from Aus and used to that plus it was managed well with the air conditioned vans and the like.

Our guide Omar through Aswan and Luxor was brilliant, a really cool guy and we enjoyed our chats with him. We learnt so much. Can't remember our guide through Cairo's name, started with S, he was awesome as well.

I was able to completely customise our trip to include everything we wanted, but shorten the duration a bit. Which fit into the rest of our plans. Working through email to get this done was far easier than I expected.

I think they could work on the initial airport greeting, as it felt a little rushed and informal and when a guy starts asking for your passports, without a formal introduction and a sign then it feels a bit weird.

Would definitely recommend Egypt and Your Egypt Tours. We felt safe at all times. The guides go out of their way to help you buy things you need and ensure you are kept safe.

Just be as careful as you can about food poisoning, my wife copped it bad and struggled for a couple days. She was a trooper and managed to only really miss our drive to Qeha, but just a reminder to be careful. We used hand sanitizer, only bottled water and were super careful but it still got her.
