I just had the most rewarding and amazing experience with the team at Yop..Your Online Publicist.I was so frustrated and lost with the major Publishers that I had worked with that for several years I just quit until I was contacted by Yop and decided to give them a try.
The entire team worked as a unit of positive energy.All my enquires were answered right away with understanding,knowledge and concrete helpful suggestions.I am now motivated,recharged and refreshed with positive energy to fulfill my desires as an Author of Childrenns Literature.

The service provided by Your Online Publicist was excellent. They provided me with all the details that I needed to produce a marketable product. Bill Adams was very clear in all his directions, and he was very patient with a computer novice. I am very thankful to Bill and Jacob Lewis for their outstanding service.

An obvious scam. I published a book with WW Norton in 2017 and have had no trouble whatsoever promoting it. YOP called me cold one day and started selling me, with the caller stumbling over the name of the book, and unable to explain what it was about.

I very clearly told them that I did not need a publicist and knew this was a scam company. Days later the same caller called back, saying "do you remember me?" and started pitching again. Somebody should shut down these crooks.

I had YOP republish my book and all went well in step one. Then step two (Which I don't remember hearing about in the beginning) can run you anywhere from $2000-$6000. Big scam!! I found when you say no they will call you up to 15 times a day. When you answer they keep you on the phone for hours. And the keep poking, poking and more poking. I had to threaten Bryan Larson with the police to stop phoning me. No! Means No!

I was thrilled with the service and enthusiasm with which this company worked with me. Their production team came up with creative ideas, were always responsive, and I always felt like I was in good hands. They streamlined the whole process and made it look so simple for a new author like me. Will definitely be working with them from day one for my next book.

Your online Publicist handled the publicity of my first book. This firm is a team of consummate professionals who know their business, know how to work together, and know how to bring a new author along. Most importantly, they do what they promise to do. My publicist Cherry kept me continually informed, explained at every stage exactly what they were doing and why, and always respected my questions and concerns. Without them, I would never have been able to achieve the exposure they attracted for my book, from reviews to blog posts and even to a radio interview. I’ll use them again--without hesitation.

I found two great qualities in the company. First one was a very forthcoming management to deal with financial options. The second quality was the cooperativeness I received with the creative person (and I am sure there was a team with him) to patiently go through the alternatives I suggested every step of the way. The overall quality of the website design and the promotional campaign has given me the hope that the exposure received will translate into my target audience buying the book, Beloved Son, I am going to be your Father. I would highly recommend Your on Line Publicist to whoever wants to have a heartfelt publishing process.

This company has scam written all over it! Their "employees" are aggressive and unprofessional, with their obvious goal being to get your credit card and/or bank account information as quickly as possible!

Paragraph 14 ("Payment Portal") of the contract they sent me to review reads: "Your subscription begins as soon as your initial payment is processed. (Subscription to what?) You will be charged, for the discounted price (discounted from what?) of $19.99 Monthly within the minimum locked-in period of 6 months, (what does that even mean?) the monthly rate stated at the time of purchase, plus applicable taxes. Your subscription will automatically renew on your Monthly renewal date until you cancel. You authorize us to store your payment method(s) and to automatically charge your payment method(s) every month until you cancel."

After speaking with a supervisor, who sounded amazingly similar to Bryan, the person I was originally speaking with, it seems that, 1. the subscription is the cost for sending the author sales reports, checks, etc. (They're going to charge me to send me sales reports? But I can either continue to pay forever or cancel ...)
2. What happens when I cancel? Answer - you don't have to pay any more. What else happens? Answer - nothing. Then what am I canceling? Answer - your payment.

Definitely something not right here! Don't trust them!

Additionally, aside from the contract having a number of questionable legal paragraphs (which you absolutely should have an attorney look over before signing anything with this company!) the contract they sent me to review was laden with typo's, misspelled words and grammatical errors! Now I ask you ... what legitimate PUBLISHING company sends out a contract that isn't absolutely flawless with regard to that kind of thing!?

If you are an author, you'd better hope they don't get your contact information because they will call you constantly.

They left a message for me on their initial call as I was not available. I did some quick research about them and found that the quality of their services is extremely poor.

When they called me again, I said I wasn't interested and requested that they put me on their do not call list. I thought that would be the end of it.

However, they continue to call despite this. My number is on the Do Not Call registry and when I mentioned this during the most recent call, the caller ("Joe") just laughed.

I then explained that I would report them to the FTC for every unwanted call I receive. "Joe" had nothing else to say - I imagine his pre-written script did not cover that scenario. He then hung up on me.

I honestly don't understand the logic. I have said repeatedly that I am not interested in doing business with them. At this point I am exasperated. What do they possibly have to gain by continuing to bother me? Maybe they just enjoy harassing their detractors, but I can't think of any business case for considering to harass me.

I don't understand the positive reviews they are receiving here. My guess is that they are either fake reviews, or naive authors that do not know what a bad deal they got.

EDIT: YOP's reply to this review is a lie. Just tonight I got yet another spam call from them.

I've had this company republish a book of mine and they did a nice job on the cover. But for $1,000 that is all they did. Now they will not stop calling, 5 or 10 calls in a row trying to sell me advertising the book for $2000 and probably more scam to come. The people calling are from India and they are usually scam artists. They conned me, don't let them get you.

Extremely cooperative. Was there to help along with every step explaining everything. All my questions were answered thoroughly to complete satisfaction. Definitely know what they're doing.

Your Online Publicist re-published my children's book. They created a new front and back cover and did an awesome job. I love the illustrations on the cover of the book. They wrote the blog for my website and did a beautiful job with the stories. I wish I had found them sooner before I was published from another company.
