Great professionalism and incredible service from Mike, really helpful would definitely recommend

Wrong price structure. BEWARE. Loads of hidden costs that aren’t mentioned before booking. The lads clearing the waste did a good job but the company as a whole is sneaky.
DO NOT USE. When approached about the hidden costs, no explanation given as what scale is used if the amount of waste is underestimated and extra cost is needed. The extra cost is just slapped on.

Excellent service i cannot fault the team. My mum recently sadly passed away and i had a number of things i needed to clear out from the house. I sent pictures of the waste on Bank Holiday Monday, Michael immediately sent me a provisional booking for today Tuesday, He contacted me first thing with a quote and booked a clearance team for today they turned up early morning, no messing around and they loaded everything onto a van. I have used Zero waste i the past and will continue to use the company.

The man and van service is fine. However, the way the job is priced is a lottery. The price varies massively and usually completely over estimated and so much more expensive than a grab bag or skip. I won't be using them again.

Efficient and cheerful. Kept us informed of progress getting to us as traffic was heavy.
We were not aware that electric cooker needed to be disconnected by an electrician and could have had this done prior to the collection if we had been made aware of this, therefore they were not able to take the cooker on the day. Everything else booked in was taken.

Very quick response, amazing service all round.

Really good experience using their service. Able to book a small time slot, short lead time, can even get same day. Noticed my postcode was wrong on the order email at 6 am day of 9am visit, mailed them and got a reply correcting it straight away. Guy called Will came, really helpful, fast and efficient. Tip top 👍

When Paul and Rob came,firstly they introduced themselves.they asked us what we wanted,and if they were unsure about some things checked

Excellent service, have used many times. Happy and helpful office staff and hard working clearance staff. Not only do they recycle, they upcycle items too. All in all a very professional company and I highly recommend them.

Very disappointed by how this company operates. I contacted them to remove a bag containing 2 cubic yards of old fencing. I even sent a picture of the bag. They quoted me a price which allowed for 4 cubic yards. When the driver arrived, he said the price was too low and I would have to pay for 6 cubic yards. After an argument he went ahead and loaded the wood in 20 minutes. He then informed me I would have got a cheaper price from Veolia - talk about rubbing salt in the wound.

I am extremely happy and impressed with my experience of ‘Zero Waste Group’ this afternoon, from the very start to finish!

* From initially looking for a clearance service online - with a straightforward and informative website.
* Then to a fast call back, having an enthusiastic, polite and super friendly consultation & booking service with Michael over the phone, helping explain how the whole service works and managing to fit my clearance appointment for the very same day! Within a few hours of my call!
* I hugely appreciated the phone updates from John & Craig regarding their arrival time, and updates as to how long they’ll be as they got stuck in a bit of traffic on the way - but still arrived well within the time bracket I was first given.
* The guys were both bright, happy, energetic, (even though I was the last appointment of the day).
* John and Craig were friendly and hard working, they were both polite and professional and took the time to answer all my questions and gave me advice on the prices and costs of items that could incur additional charges etc.
* I felt they were very genuine and honest regarding their work and transparent with prices and I didn’t feel pressured at all.
* The guys worked quickly and very effectively and made sure they tidied up very well, even around the area where they loaded up their van. All was cleared, swept and tidy when they finished.
* I felt the whole service is very reasonably priced.

Good communication and great service. Needed help clearing items from a container storage unit so ability to book a two hour collection window really helpful. The guys phoned ahead and completed the job swiftly and efficiently. Good to know efforts will be made to avoid items going to landfill where possible.
