Zoner Photo Studio is a great stand alone photo editor at a reasonable price. It is easy to sort, cull and edit your photos quickly, but also has some great photo development tools. Additionally, they have tons of pre-sets and are constantly updating the program with new features and improvements to existing ones. I have been using it for close to a decade now and find it my go-to tool for photography.

I have been using Zoner Photo Studio for many years and it just seems to get better with each iteration. I especially like that I can quickly review large numbers of photos quickly, compare multiple copies and don't have to worry about importing or other troublesome catalog issues that often occur in Lightroom. I like that it easily stacks RAW and jpg files and I can make quick or more sophisticated edits with the Editor module or the Developer module. Their customer support is always helpful and answers questions in a timely manner. Can't wait to see what the team comes up with next!

I've been using Zoner Photo Studio way back before it was offered as a subscription only. I began with version 15. Although I don't use all of the features offered, I especially like the ease of use, the ability to use masks and overlays, the floating window features, and the productive modules that ease my workflow.

The one star rating is for horrible customer service. My 89+ father-in-law purchased the program for managing photos; unfortunately his Microsoft personal computer hard drive began failing two days after purchase. He bought an apple computer. He found out that Zoner does NOT have an apple program. Customer Service told him to give his account to someone else. No one else in the family has microsoft we all use Apple. So much for customer service and understanding.

What I like:
1 Has everything I need, and more.
2 Develop Module is like Lightroom. Especially with 'Primary Colour Shift': similar to Lightroom's 'Colour Calibration'. No other Lightroom competitors seem to have this yet.
3 Editor Module is like Photoshop but easier to use with only those other tools a 'normal' person needs for some of those Photoshop effects.
4 Customer support from a couple of queries has been good.
5 Tutorials on Zoner's 'Learn Photography' website.

What I'm not keen on:
1 YouTube Channel/tutorials compared to Zoner's competitors seems really poor and little use.
2 Online User Guide/Manual. So basic, it's no help. Few illustrations.
In most cases, it merely lists tools and what they do, but not how to use or why, or in any coherent way. (This could be that Zoner wants you to buy the 'Practical Guide' at $19 which looks like what that manual should look like.)

If they put some work into making the online manual better, it would get 5 stars.

I like how simple it is to use, I have been enjoying it thus far. Your program is super great a taking out camera noise or gritty.

I am going to try a few different platforms to see how they work.

Picmonkey was my 1st, but I have left them, due pricing and not worth my efforts.

Use it for several years now, since Z15. Very intuitive and easy to use. Also, with ZXX, regular updates appear with useful features added. I use Nikon's Caption for RAW, because I find Nikon's raw-coversion superior for NEF and I like the U-point technology more than layers. However, for more photoshopstyle edits I turn to Zoner. Alltogether a very good integral photosuite that is worth its price.

This is an excellent product with very intuitive tagging and editing. I originally got it for its geotagging and I have no regrets. I particularly like its dehazing facility, this was a bonus. All they need to do now is face recognition and tagging and it will be perfect.

I have been a Zoner user for many years, before they went to sub service, tried X when they changed and have to say it works for me. Part of the reason was the sub price came down to a level I could afford, only a hobby photo/video person. It has a broad range of goodies ideal for me, but it covers a much wider range than I will use so advanced users will find it as good as big box stuff. Would definitely recommend as a good start for anyone, you do not need all the "stuff" in most expensive software. So give it a free trial and play for fun....

I've been using different versions of ZPS for several years now and jumped to the subscription model with no regrets. Highly recommended.

Zoner is the best photo editing software for the money around. You get more bang for your buck and the tools are awesome. The software is kept up to date and stable. I have been able to improve my photos tremendously. Their customer service is excellent.

After years of using Photoshop I made the switch to Zoner Photo Studio. I have to say that my main impetus at the time was price but I was totally surprised at the elegance and power of ZPS. Based on the time it takes to launch (just a few seconds) this is a lean program that is very efficiently coded. It has a quick and intuitive workflow. New features come all the time and new releases are rock-solid. Tech support is friendly, professional, in depth, and quick. The plethora of tutorials are a real help and new ones are available all the time. After a half-dozen years with ZPS I always pay for my next year's updates on the day I receive the notice. No hesitation here.

Just have kept on using it for years now, and upgrading it when a new version comes out - that I think is the best comment that I can make as I would certainly be using something else if it did not work for me.

Excellent software which I have been using for several years now. The online tutorials help get to grips with it. I've found it a lot easier to master than Photoshop.

I use Zoner photo editing many years now, and I like it very much. If you want to edit photos, and have only heard of Lightroom and Photoshop, try ZPS instead. It has all functionality you could ever need. It is fast and not more difficult then neccessary.

An exciting program that I have used for several years. It has improved the quality of my images, and given me a greater understanding of the interaction between camera and image program.

Great photo editing software. Especially when used with Zonerama cloud storage. I used it for the past 7 years or so but I can really recommend it.
