A genuinely outstanding company
If you’re looking to replace your windows or doors, I can’t recommend 1st Scenic highly enough. They supply excellent products — from top‑quality composite doors to beautifully finished aluminium windows — and their workmanship is consistently superb.
This is the third time we’ve used them for different house projects, and once again the end result is genuinely impressive.
Jamie and Luke handled our installation this time and they are the A‑team: considerate, experienced, and meticulous. Every important detail was discussed with us clearly, and then completed to the highest possible standard.
Absolute professionals from start to finish. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Contract on block of apartments in Horley. Craig, and his team were very professional. I was awaiting a trim for my bedroom window, which was fitted by Craig today. He made sure, he ordered the correct colour match. So a second visit was needed for this. On both occasions the team were great and worked well together. All very down to earth and any questions I had were answered. Craig kept me updated throughout the whole process. Likewise did the office. I can’t fault them in any way shape or form. Great guys.

1st scenic replaced all of my windows today and I couldnt be more pleased with the whole service. From telephone calls from the office to book the appointment, to Craig, Harry and Charlie coming to do the job everything was seamless.
The team arrived promptly and got to work, they chatted with my autistic son and made him feel at ease even with the loud noises, they were all kind and knowledgeable and got the job done quickly to a beautiful standard. They cleared up after themselves well which allowed me to enjoy the rest of my day. Absolutely loving my new windows and would 100% recommend 1st Scenic to anyone looking for new windows.

Luke & Jamie 10 ***** 10/10
The guys doing my windows did work well together. However had to return 4 times to replace panel that was cut wrong a few times, and my window safety catch wasn't working in either windows, Craig said he'd sort it out for me but infact damaged the framework and had no intentions of fixing it but many excuses were made. I was told by Harry that all the living room windows don't have safety locks on ...????? So I contacted a few neighbours and ALL their windows had safety locks. So after I made a complaint the job has now been completed in less than 10 minutes and Luke and Jamie seem to be going round clearing up jobs that haven't been completed. I wished I'd left my review until they had totally completed so I'll drop my stars down for the fact that Craig had no intentions of repairing what he broke and was prepared to leave me with a damaged window... Luke and Jamie get 10/10. 5**** x 100 = THE BEST by a long chalk ...!! ...Well done Luke & Jamie 👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 😊 Great guys . .

Firstly, we’re sorry to hear about the issues you encountered during the installation, particularly the need for multiple return visits. As all products are made bespoke to your window sizes, there can occasionally be supplier errors during the manufacturing process. That said, this is certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we fully understand your frustration.
Regarding the safety locks, this appears to have been a matter of terminology. Our windows are fitted with restrictor hinges, which is what did required attention on your living room window. We apologize for any confusion caused.
We’re pleased to hear that Luke and Jamie were able to resolve the outstanding issues promptly, and we’ll be sure to pass on your kind words to them—they’ll really appreciate the recognition. The additional jobs they attended were to replace a small number of glass units that had cracked during installation, which, while unfortunate, can occasionally happen.
Please be assured that your comments are taken seriously, and we will be addressing these matters internally to ensure better consistency and accountability across all our teams.

Craig, Harry & Charlie came to remove old windows and patio doors and fit new ones. They were very quick and also very nice and polite. They did a great job and tidied up after themselves. Definitely recommend.

I am sharing my experience here because I am honestly still in shock. David Shields from 1stscenic arrived at my house 30 minutes late for a quote, but instead of an apology, I was met with immediate anger. He was extremely rude because I hadn't pre-arranged a parking space for his brand-new BMW X5.
He demanded that I pay for any parking ticket he might receive, and I agreed just to keep the peace. However, when he parked in front of my neighbor’s house, I kindly asked if he could move it to the front of my own house to avoid upsetting the neighbors. Without a single word, Mr. Shields simply got back in his car and drove away. I was left standing there, completely stunned, watching him disappear. I felt so dismissed and helpless on the street. It was a truly terrible and unpleasant experience.

Our appointment times are always approximate, as delays can sometimes occur due to traffic or earlier bookings overrunning.
Having spoken with David, he does recall the situation differently. On arrival, he was advised that parking on the drive wasn’t permitted, despite there appearing to be space available. When he parked on the road, concerns were raised about a potential parking ticket, and when this couldn’t be resolved, he moved the vehicle again. After parking near a neighbour’s property, it became clear this also wasn’t suitable. At that point, David explained that without a safe and appropriate place to park, he would be unable to remain and carry out the quotation.
If parking is limited or unavailable, we do kindly ask that customers let us know in advance when booking so we can make suitable arrangements ahead of time.
That said, we’re sorry this situation led to a frustrating experience for you and appreciate you bringing it to our attention.

Brilliant service from start to finish
Brilliant service from start to finish. I went into the showroom and met Dave Shields who was able to talk me expertly through the colours and finishes making it all so easy. On installation, the fitting team were faultless - quick, efficient and tidy. They talked me through the process, installed my new door. Which has transformed the front of my house!
