£350 first hour and £50 call out
My wife rang them £50 call out surcharge on Saturday 5 hours to come and they forgot to say the 1st hour is £350 yes that right £350 plus the £50 surcharge
The plumber said if he’d done the job it would be £120 they then tried to charge VAT
It just robbery they keep changing the hull number this is obviously a scam
As below they did not tell me the upfront costs just a £50 Saturday excess no equipment was needed
The number comes up as Hull but changes all the time like I said avoid scam and very rude Eastern European woman wh added Vat then knocked it off
I must say form the revenue !

SCAMMERS, LEGAL ACTION BEING TAKEN,
PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I am taking it to court, writing to my MP and the ALL relevant authorities. I was scammed out of £740 for fixing my boiler, did not take more than 30 min in total (though over a couple of days as they had to order parts). I checked on Amazon, the parts themselves included within the £740 would have cost me only £33 if I had ordered them myself. I am taking legal action so that they can never do this to anyone else, and will work tirelessly to shut this company down

Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. When a company has to set up a new trustpilot page to hide from the first one (see "Trustpilot/review/247-bestemergencyservices .co .uk") then it's a sign of how bad it is.
As others have stated, they are an intermediatry who take no responsibility. They will charge extortionate fees and not provide a good service.

Google promoted, so thought it was legitimate and local.
Called believing this was a legitimate business on Google. A sub contract plumber came removed a leaking push on filter and used 2 x 22mm straight connectors and 4 inch of 22mm pipe. Cost £50 call-out and £260 for 20 minute job. Very steep in my view even for a Sunday lunch time. Reported Emergency plumbing and gas services 24/7 of 20-22 Wenlock Road. London to Google, Trading Standards and my local MP.
DO NOT USE THESE CON MERCHANTS OMG cannot believe they replied with the drivel. Reported this man who is actually in Bradford to Trading Standards, report fraud who are investigating this London address. I would never use con artists like this again what ever they offer. Please take my advice and never ever use this Bradford based con man!

AVOID using this company
AVOID using this company! We wish we had've read the reviews before calling them.
We had an issue with our boiler being temperamental and not working just before Christmas so unfortunately all the usual engineers were on Christmas shutdown, therefore found 247 Best Emergency Services on Google. We were gateful that they were able to come out to us late on 22nd December, however engineer arrived and couldn't diagnose the issue after carrying out his "tests". The boiler started temporarily working after approx 1hr so at the time thinking he'd fixed it, agreed to pay the £350 in cash. However the following day when we tried to use the heating/shower, it wasn't working again, and was not fixed at all - and then have been without heat and hot water over the whole festive period. Tried calling the company multiple times and the advisor has been unable to help saying she'd pass on to manager but not had any calls back or replies to emails.
Terrible service, can't believe we have paid £350 for nothing and the poor handling by the company not providing any sort of resolution for the issue.

Fraudsters, Unsafe, Dangerous
Having called this company on Friday afternoon, at 1400hrs, 17/11/23, they stated an engineer would be coming within 1hr. I was contacted 2 hours later by a male, who stated he’d be with me by 5pm! He also insisted on knowing why the boiler wasn’t working, asking me to diagnose the fault so he could do research before he arrived!
When he came, he was accompanied by another male, both either Pakistani or Indian, were both unkempt, smelt of ‘BO’ and only one of them had identification, which I suspected was false. There was no vehicle in sight. I was reluctant to allow these 2 filthy strangers into our beautiful home, however, I trusted they would know what needed doing to sort out our cold radiators. Armed with a jagged plastic bottle and spanner, these clowns set to work apparently trying to identify the problem. Bashing the brand new radiators and valves with a heavy spanner. After 2 hours, and several departures to and from my house, clearly asking someone else for advice, by telephone, they conceded to accept they couldn’t diagnose the problem, and told me that they could replace the electric pump on the boiler with a re-conditioned unit on Saturday, but this would require additional fees, as it was a Saturday. They said that there was no guarantee that the radiators would work, even anfter this reconditioned pump was fitted, as they were convinced the pipes under the ground, had clearly been kinked and twisted and this was contributing to the problem!
We’ve lived here for 15 years, since it was built, and only recently encountered the heating problem.
With this, and a statement that they couldn’t purchase a new pump or
resolve the issue, they asked for £120 in cash!!
I paid, there was no invoice, no receipt and nothing to show that they had ever been here.
I called 24/7 to complain. I asked to speak to a manager, and asked to be emailed with full details of the company, so that I could rate them etc…………… Nothing!!!!!
This company, its so called ’Trained Engineers’, are fraudsters, cheats and thieves. They are not registered or authorised persons, who can carry out repairs and don’t have liability insurance.
Be warned, nothing about this experience demonstrates that 24/7bestemergencyservices employ legitimate or skilled tradesmen, and it’s questionable if these people should be or have the permissions to work at all.
I will of course be seeking full financial restitution from them, and seek clarification from the relevant regulatory body, as to why these unqualified and unskilled individuals are risking the safety of the public, by purporting to be qualified gas, and heating engineers.
Absolute CRIMINAL!!!!

Avoid at all cost
Avoid at all cost. Disgusting company. Will not tell you the price over the phone, only that its the plumbers rate that arrives plus the £50 call out fee.
Plumber arrived beyond the time stated and then charged £280 an hour for labour stating “ out of business hours”( even though he should of arrived within business hours. A job that should of taken less than an hour took 2hrs. Was shocked to be told the price.
Avoid at all cost.
Sent 6 emails now to get an itemized invoice and no reply and not contactable by phone.

Rang them for an emergency plumber for an overflowing drain. Was told someone would be out in an hour. Two hours later no sign of them. Guy rang next morning claiming to be the booking, kids screaming in the background. Told him I'd sorted something out myself and hung up. Hour later I get a phone call from this lot demanding to know what I'd done and why I'd not spoken properly to their 'agent'. Woman on the phone got very sullen and rude when I told her I'd fixed the problem and would need them.
Edit - So they get back to me with their reply a year after I reviewed them and it's completely unrelated to what I post. Nice use of template replies guys. I'm afraid the offer of a discount isn't enough to bring me back. The fact that their template response is based around complaints about high prices and unexpected charges should tell you something.

Ripped off my 98-year old aunt!
I phoned this company on behalf of my elderly aunt and was told that the job would be £50 for the callout and the remaining charge would depend on labour and parts. A plumber comes and adjusts the water level in the toilet cistern. The company charges my 98-year-old aunt a total of £330 for a five-minute job where no new parts were required. Total rip-off. £50 for the callout (which is what the plumber gets) is absolutely fine, and the plumber did a good job, but a £280 labour charge by the company is ridiculous. Does five minutes of labour really equate to £280? They then said it was an emergency charge, but there is no way they can justify treating an elderly pensioner this way who is struggling to pay her bills as they are. They were not upfront about this emergency charge, which I think is disgusting. I do not recommend this company. Avoid at all costs!

Charged for labour at a rate of £600 per hour. Ok, it was Sunday afternoon, but £600? £10 a minute? Deal is that the company you book through is an agency, they send out private contractors, overcharge and share the spoils 50/50. Absolute scammers, avoid.
I’ve since taken this company to the Small Claims Court and was successful in my claim for a pert refund of my bill. Would recommend other dissatisfied customers do the same.

Blocked waste pipe flooded my kitchen so requested an engineer. Told 1-1.5 hours. Called after 2.5 spoke to engineer who said just finishing a job... Called another 2 hours later and told another hour. Gave up at that point!!

Terrible and expensive. Don’t ever use.
Requested an emergency plumber in a Saturday night because I had a gas leak.
Guy turned up. Did nothing. Charged me 230£. Said there was no issue. Had to call someone else out the next day (cheaper, better, fixed it).
Have now spent the last 2 weeks calling every day to get an invoice or receipt for the ‘work’ done. Call centre staff are dishonest and rude. Every day I’m told that invoice us been sent and that I’m being impatient and at one point today ‘stupid’. Unacceptable.

Charged £325 to fix a leaking toilet, fixed after one hour. Plumber was great, but charges are off the scale. Utter rip off. No itemised bill. Cost of parts was probably around £25.

Shockingly Bad
Shockingly bad. Did work and charged a huge amount of money and since then have constantly avoided all requests for a itemised receipt, which I need to make a claim. They repeatedly say they will supply a listed invoice and simply don’t. Well, they did, but it was not complete, hand written by an 5 year old and not even for my house!! It’s been 9 requests now and over a month. You talk to someone different every time you call and they just don’t care. They blatantly lie or are rude. Appalling unprofessional behaviour, untrustworthy and extortionate prices. Avoid!!!!
