2nd Swing Golf Reviews 

Ordered a TaylorMade wedge and had to call multiple times to check on order. Took over a MONTH to get my wedge. First it was TaylorMade didn't have the shaft I wanted then they couldn't get into the TaylorMade Portal to check on my order. It was one excuse after another. That order with 2nd swing was my last.

I took my 15 year old grandson for a pre scheduled
11:30am 1 1/2 hour FULL club fitting. We arrive 10 minutes early and we were greeted immediately and our "Fitter" pointed us to a simulator. He asked about my grandsons experience level and his height. He handed him a seven iron and had him hit 10 (aprox) balls. Without any instruction he handed him a different 7 iron and had him repeat the (10 shots )
He then left and returned with a full set of used ladies clubs and handed him the 7 iron and told him to hit a few balls. After hitting the requested number of balls he said that the set of clubs he went and got were the only clubs they had that would be ok for him.
He indicated we were done, and I asked the Pro if we were expected to buy a full set of clubs wouldn't it be prudent if we at least got a look at and maybe even hit the driver. He said, "Sure if you want to."
My grandson hit a few balls with the driver and no input at all from the Pro.
Again he repeated that the clubs he showed us were what he advised us to buy.
I asked if we could try the putter and he directed us to the downstairs putting area. We both putted for about 5 minutes and again no input from the Pro.
He directed us to the cashier where I was presented a bill for $150. US dollars. I inquired why was I being charged for a full club 1 1/2 hour fitting since we had only been in the building 25 minutes total. His reply was " Well that's the way it rung up. You can use the amount against any in house purchase."
I apologized to my grandson on the way out and all he could say was. "Thanks for bringing me Grampa, but that was terrible."
I later called them and requester the person who answered to connect me to the manager. I was told the manager wasn't in. I asked the man who answered the call, to have the manager call me. He said he would put the message on the managers desk. The following day I got a call from the Pro, who gave us the bums rush the previous day and he fumbled around trying to justify his Professional Fitting. He invited me back in with my grandson to do it over.
I declined. I was born in the dark but not last night. I wasn't interested in putting my grandson through any more embarrassment.
I had a full club fitting some years prion to this, at a different golf store and it was terrific. I immediately bought a full set of clubs and was very happy with them. But....The fitter I had cared about what he was doing.
Unfortunately I won't be back to 2nd swing except to try to find somethin to get with the wasted $150 "Full
club fitting"

Delaware location. Holy smokes, I was so nervous- first time getting fitted. They have an associate there, Alex. How cool was he? He made my whole experience not only comfortable, but fun. He doesn't care what your skill level is, he just wants to get you into the right irons, driver, etc. I had some thoughts one what I wanted to hit.. he said, "hit them"

Then... lets hit some other ones.. lets let the numbers do the talking.

He was just so.. i don't know, comforting? We walked through a bunch of options and decided on a set of iron that weren't the most expensive, weren't the cheapest.. they were just the right ones. I'm so happy I had Alex. I didn't know a ton going in, I just knew that I wanted to get fitted.

No judgement, 15 minutes in, he wanted what I wanted. I'm ging to go back and get my driver fitted from him because he is the type of guy that will say.. "hey, don't change your driver.. you're good"

I just ordered a second hand set of clubs for my wife, and it was a very pleasant experience. Colin Huffman understood exactly what I wanted, gave me some different options, and I was very satisfied with his suggestions. I have ordered from 2nd swing before and I have been happy every time! Grateful to Pete who had the patience to work with me to set up a driver with proper settings and the willingness to try a couple options in brands to find the one that closed the sale. This “family owned business” is sorely lacking in a proper CRM system to auto notify of shipping updates, tracking info, etc. from major manufacturers. Product all of a sudden shows up (or not) without prior notification.

I went to 2nd swing Talking stick location in south Scottsdale. This was the first time I have ever been to a 2nd swing location. I walked in the door and was helped right away. I had the the pleasure of having Steve, help me. I had a big order and several different things I needed done. He gave me his full attention for over an hour. I walked out with everything I asked for. I was honestly impressed with knowledge the service that is all you can ask for thanks Steve.

My 7,8,9,PW clubs came in a box 8" longer than the 7 iron. None of the club heads were covered in anything protecting them, no club was secured in any fashion. There was no bubble wrap, Styrofoam, or decent amount of paper to act as a shock absorber for shipping these clubs 2,000 miles. There was only two small pieces of brown paper, not big enough to wrap a deck of playing cards in the box. They came dinged up, scratched, and scraped. I will NEVER buy from this company again. I would have paid extra if it were an option to have proper shipping packaging. Ridiculous to say the least. There is no sense in having a club condition rating system like they do when advertising their clubs if they're going to get beat to hell during shipping. Incredibly lazy, thoughtless, and careless business practice. Stay away if you care about what your clubs look like.

Not a good experience. I shipped six boxes of clubs (over 100) and was paid for only some of the clubs. I was told they did not receive all clubs shown on my list and when the others were received I would be paid for them. FedEx records indicate all were received on the same date. The rep., Phil, told me they received all boxes. After a couple of inquiries and no follow-up, I checked back today (February to April) and was told I was paid for everything they received. Where did the missing box go? Unhappy customer.

Just purchased a set of Cobra clubs at Second Swing. We worked with Gary Shoberg and he was very helpful and knowledgeable. Joel Theisen

Had a Tour Van Putter fitting this morning with Thomas Campbell at the Minnetonka facility. Best investment in my game in many years.

Pointed me to a different style putter than I had been using. Also showed me how my stroke is best suited for a lesser loft and identified the proper lie for the best results for me.

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE.

I`m writing to commend Nate Tobias on his professional and knowledgeable service. I feel like after all of my tries to be fitted properly it`s finally happening. I look forward to the next phase.

I don't write a lot of reviews but I have to tell my story. You can tell by the star it wasn't a good experience. I had sent trade ins in to them a couple times and really only had to call to make sure I was given the trade in bonus. Not too big of a deal but a little crooked. this last one was a nightmare though. To day dishonest isn't correct it was theft. I sent in an entire set of irons and a fairway wood. The set was progressive and wasn't the same model all the way through. I made the mistake of marking one of my clubs as a different model. Rather than call me and tell me there was a trade in difference they just omitted it and now say I never sent it. they took a club from me and I don't seem to have any recourse other than this. The customer service people are rude and insist they don't do anything wrong. It is a hard pill to swallow but if it helps you not make my mistake I'm vindicated. They are not honest and make no bones about it. Do not buy or trade with them very dishonest!

Sent clubs in and they told me to use my credit i had to convert it to a gift card. They converted it and then when they didn't have the club i wanted would not give me my money for the clubs! Sneaky way for them to keep your Money and Clubs! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

I sent 2nd swing an almost new Epic Callaway driver. I agreed to their purchase price and 4 weeks later, I have not received my check. I cannot recommend selling anything to them when they can't pay you for it!

Good products and the prices are fair. However getting my site credit for the clubs I traded in has been a hassle. They seem to be insistent that you call their sales people to have your credit applied to an online order. I just want to have the credit assigned to my account so that I can apply it when and how I want. Feels like they're making me jump through hoops to get access to MY money. Customer service is also terrible. Non responsive and very unhelpful.

Ordered a set of clubs listed on their website, first the clubs arrived late but they sent me the wrong clubs because the listing was wrong. The guy I talked to in customer service acted as though it was my fault. I was then told to return the clubs, they would give me a store credit and I could then purchase the correct clubs. after several calls they agreed to ship out the correct clubs once these were shipped back. Sent the old ones back and they sent me the correct clubs, only they sent them to the wrong address. Called them to have them call to change the address with fedex and was told they did. They did not call jsut changed it in their system. So they have been shipped to the wrong address and fedex will not change it. The shipper must do that, so I get to call and hear how they have made another mistake but hey it is only the customer that suffers, they could care less and DO NOT stand behind what they are selling nor do they take accountability for their mistakes.

Sold. A set of irons to 2nd swing in June, a month later on July 6th they finally got around to giving me a price on the irons. Which was $40 less then what they quoted on website and told me in email I would receive the money via PayPal in four days. It is now August 8th and I have called them twice and still haven’t received the money. You would be better off going to play it again sports to sell your clubs. This company is a scam in my opinion and will never do business with them again. Reading other reviews I see I’m not alone. Maybe class action lawsuit may be in order

Purchased a club from 2nd Swing Golf through eBay after watching club reviews on the youtube channel. They make out that they are a custom fit centre but were not prepared to swing weight the club I purchased. I also found the staff attitude arrogant and condescending similar to other reviews. First time that I have come across a company that is so unhelpful and I will not be purchasing from them again.
