I have used Able Surveyors on two occasions and for both surveys I have received the reports very quickly (next day in one case). The reports are thorough and easy to consume and the surveyor was responsive and helpful when I had follow up questions. I would definitely use them again in future

The whole process from start to finish was so simple. Buying and selling a house is stressful at the best of times so when you want to have a survey done and you’re spending another bit of money on it you want it to be as easy and stress free as possible and that’s exactly what this was.
They got the survey booked in within a couple of days, completed the survey and provided the report the next day. They covered everything we asked and included what to have our solicitors ask for too.

Outstanding service. Needed a survey done fairly urgently, and the whole process was complete in 3 days. I paid extra for the fast track service and received the report that evening. It was thorough, detailed and to a high standard. I managed to send it off to my conveyancer the next day. None of the 'we'll get back to you soon' rubbish. They give you a provisional day before making the payment giving you the confidence that it is already locked in at the time of payment. The sign up form was fast, easy, and they are fast to reply. I would certainly use again.

From the moment we made payment, everything moved quickly and smoothly — the survey was booked in ASAP and the communication throughout was clear, calm, and reassuring (which we very much needed!).

The turnaround time absolutely blew us away — the full report landed in our inbox by 9am the following morning after the survey took place, which was far quicker than expected and really helped us keep things moving without stress.

In the report, he walked us through what he was checking and why, and helped demystify a lot of the scary-sounding bits in the survey — things like chimneys, electrics, older construction quirks, and general “this is just what houses from 1900 are like” issues. Instead of just listing problems, he explained what was normal, what was worth keeping an eye on, and what genuinely mattered versus what was more routine maintenance. As people who had no idea what was reasonable and what wasn’t, this was hugely reassuring.

Pricing was also extremely reasonable compared to other surveyors we contacted, and for the level of detail, clarity, and peace of mind we got, the value for money was excellent. A special shout-out as well to the lovely lady on the phone — she was an absolute joy to speak to, super friendly and helpful, and made the whole process feel easy from the very first call.

Overall, a genuinely brilliant service: thorough and reassuring. We’d recommend Ross and the team in a heartbeat — especially to fellow first-time buyers who might be feeling a bit overwhelmed!

When procuring a survey, we looked at quotes from 7-8 different providers, and Able stood out. They offered a very reasonable price and were clear, quick and professional in their communications. Once we'd signed up with them, the survey was booked in for less than a week later, and Ross sent over the results of the survey the morning after it had taken place, which is an amazing turnaround. Jack Sullivan conducted a level 3 survey on a property I am purchasing which has had some major works conducted by the current owners. Jacks survey was detailed and flagged a number of issues which required further investigation. The report was delivered very quickly and ahead of time and Jack was quick at answering follow up questions of which I had quite a few! We've used Able Surveyors twice in the last 6 months due to one of our houses falling through and both times they have been a pleasure to work with. GEtting a quote from them online is super easy, fast and automated. We got a date within a a fornight both times and there was never any issues with communication with the agents to arrange access.

The survey report was turned around quickly both times and is very thorough and easy to digest. The first time we had come questions which the surveyor was able to answer through a phone call.

Overall we had a great experience and would 100% use again and recommend to our friends / family.
