Everything I am qualified to do is connected with property – Interior Designer, Mortgage Broker and latterly, Estate Agent. In actual fact, as I have become older (and quite possibly wiser!), I realise it’s not property but people that I am drawn to. All my life I have wanted to please people; I love interacting and pride myself in the fact that I am no longer phased by who people are – we are all human! I feel as though I have found my niche. The training is clear, practical, and so easy to follow, and the mentorship is encouraging, and genuinely invested in your growth.

One of the best parts was writing my own ceremony. It really brought everything together and taught me so much about the structure and how to implement my own creativity. This course was very useful for me, specifically the mentor phase. It was more thorough and in depth than I thought it would be and it gave me the flexibility to work around my full-time job and other social commitments. Be prepared for strong critiques and feedback, and don't step into this as lightly as I did!

Completing the Funeral Celebrant Course with the Academy of Modern Celebrancy has been an incredibly positive and empowering journey. The online course was well structured, engaging, and easy to follow — full of practical guidance and real examples that helped build my confidence step by step.

I have really enjoyed the course, I have had excellent support throughout from both mentors and other students.

I have just completed my training with AMC as a Funeral Celebrant.
I found that the course was really well structured, taking you through step-by-step the key areas of becoming a funeral celebrant, working with families, understanding why a funeral is needed, the types of ceremonies you may decide to conduct in the future, how to write scripts - insight into what goes on behind-the-scenes and in-front-of-an-audience.
I would recommend to anyone with drive and passion for something different and worthwhile.

I've recently completed my the Naming Celebrant course. This was the third course I have completed with AMC and means that I have now achieved my Master Celebrant Certification.

I enrolled in the Wedding celebrancy course back in February and passed my final assessment a few days ago.
I have had a wonderful learning experience and really enjoyed the whole process.
It was easy to understand, to use the tech involved and the thourough information that was given.
The support for the course in the Facebook groups, the zoom calls and the mentorship is non stop, in a good way!
Not at any point did I feel like I couldn't ask something, communication is quick and detailed and it's one of the very few courses that I felt completely supported in my learning journey and beyond.

I am so pleased that I chose the AMC to train as a Celebrant. I have completed all three courses - Weddings, Namings and Funerals. The training itself if really varied, it is brilliant that you can do it in your own time and the content is a mix of videos, personal research, answering questions and tasks and writing and performing ceremonies. The final assessment gets you to perform a live and recorded ceremony with fake guests and this means you truly feel like you've done a ceremony when you come to stepping out into the real world.

I have now had bookings of my own from real clients for weddings, namings and funerals and I felt so equipped and confident in my ability.

The course also really helps you to harness why you are doing this, who you are and what kind of Celebrant you want to be. They give you real stepping stones for setting up your business and getting out there.

I had a super time training with the AMC!
the modules were interesting and fun to do and could all be done online at at your own convenience. I learnt so much about the the role of a celebrant and the unique way that they can change a couple's wedding day. I relished the chance to perform a wedding as part of the course - from listening to the the couple - to writing the script - to delivering the ceremony. It was so much fun and I was given excellent guidance along the way from an amazing mentor!

From the start AMC support and guide you through the course. It is a journey of discovery about the world of celebrants and who you are. There are regular Q&A online sessions which enables you to ask questions of an experienced celebrant about the course, your concerns, your ideas - there are also other students on these sessions who can also offer their support. I did slot of research before choosing AMC to train me and it has certainly paid off as I feel confident in taking the next steps to launch my business as an independent modern celebrant.
