They billed the wrong insurance…
They billed the wrong insurance company, repeatedly failed to bill the correct one. Then refused my refills when the bill didn't get paid. This has been ongoing for over a year. I can't get anyone beyond a basic telemarketer to talk to me.
Accredo Unable to Answer Questions
Accredo has a contract with my former employer Chubb Insurance for proving Rx's to employers. Accredo is responsible for proving Rx's in a timely manner *amount other things) and Chubb is obligated to make certain Accredo provides Rx's in a timely manner (among other things).
Accredo has historically screwed my orders (shorted pill counts, delays...). I was diagnosed with Psoriatic Arthritis ((add to Type 1 diabetes *38 years), Hashimoto's Disease (Thyroid), Stage Chronic Kidney Disease.
They ended up delaying my Rx for 4 weeks causing an 11 month flare. I couldn't squeeze toothpaste onto my toothbrush for months. Couldn't type at work, straighten my arms, the list goes on. This created complications with my diabetes: neuropathy in feet/hands, dexterity issues (constantly dropping items, unable to perform finer hand details), partial hearing loss, cognitive issues and further problems with my chronic kidney disease.
Asked for an accomodation at work, denied by my supv., office HR and HQ HR denied I ever reported which I did on 10=22/24 to Shania. Chubb repeated said "No name, no report".
I was terminated after being employed 14 years based on questionable allegations. Both Accredo, Chubb breached contract, failed to perform any of their obligations. Been unemployed going on six months. Difficulties I terviewing due to cognitive issues, unknown if I can even conduct duties with my hand issues.
Applied for multiple positions at USAA. My former Chubb Supv. Is best friends with the USAA HR VP (previously worked at Chubb).
Ten applications submitted to USAA, equivalent to my Chubb position were all denied.
Chubb never responded to question why they never responded to my request for assisistance to my previous questions. Never given an answer.......
Untrained workers
Worst experience waited for my medication for 3 months because they don't know how insurance works. I had to keep calling them and the doctors and the insurance because accredo had no clue what they were doing.... they never even call me back i have to constantly call them for an "update" on my medication

Horrible I've been fighting for 6 or more months for these prescriptions n then finally think it is resolved n another problem pops up . Avoid this pharmacy

I only gave 1 star because I had to give at least 1. These people are incompetent. Customer service is a complete failure. My doctor ordered this medication almost 2 months ago. I had to track down which pharmacy actually received the prescription. I was told that it will take some time to fill the prescription because they (Acredo) need to make sure they do everything right on their end. This made question their ability to handle filling my prescription. When I challenged their ability to do their job. I was hung up on. They called me back and continued to display their inability to do their jobs. I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was placed on hold and then hung up on a second time. This time, no one bothered to call me back. I have reached out to another specialty pharmacy to handle my prescription needs.
Shame on you, Acredo.
I wish I could give a negative score
I wish I could give a negative score. This company is in such disarray, especially over the last year. I’ve had injections delivered broken, I’ve had completely mishandled prescriptions and the service representatives give misinformation every single time. My frustration levels are through the roof every time I call them which at this point is weekly. I know most of us have no choice because we have this via our employers but some agency should do something about just how bad this company is.
Pathetic
Pathetic, inarticulate staff that simply puts you on hold with innumerable "Thank you for you patience" tap ins. This company 'owns' a compound pharmacy share of biologics and doesn't give a rat's rectum of how they treat you.
Needs some help from Trump or Musk. They smell of monopoly and cronyism. Need to burn this clown show down.
Acredo is terrible at customer service
Acredo is terrible at customer service. Their staff is apparently poorly trained, not knowledgeable on procedure and continuously making mistakes. We have been repeatedly billed hundreds of dollars when we do not owe any money. It is difficult to arrange to have medications sent to our doctors without many follow-ups Avoid Acredo if at all possible.

If I could give the. -10 stars I would. They continue to delay filling prescriptions for no reason. When you call you speak to a different person, there are not any notes in your file, so you have to go through the whole issue all over again. You never get anywhere, problems go unsolved because of this. Also they will stop filling your prescription and not tell you why. They won’t call you to let you know there is a problem. They let you miss doses of medication and make you jump through hoops to get it. They don’t work with you at all.
Inadequate staff training, unavailable staff, late shipments, wrong drugs
This company has staff filling medicine without any pharmacy training- not even technician level. The pharmacists do not communicate with the giant company shipping and filling things- the pharmacist stopped my medication due to reactions and I was still billed and they shipped it again anyway another week later. When a different drug was requested- when they could not fill it they didn’t tell me- they just offered to send the other medication AGAIN. They don’t keep notes- the pharmacist is not actually available 24/7 they will just keep you on hold until they can get one to call them back. They defraud insurance by charging for things I don’t want or need- like extra sharps containers even when told not to send them. Use any other pharmacy.
Horrible! Stay away
They do well shipping medicine the first time after that they do not ship medication. They did not ship the next dose and when called they said another pharmacy must fill it but they had not sent the rx to them. Poorest customer service of any pharmacy ever. Also horrible language barrier.
Order was approved , shipped and out of stock the same day
Order was approved , order was out of stock , order is in stock , call back tomorrow and talk to supervisor ……this is not the first time with problem with shipment ……never have I gotten my medication on time , we need a NEW PA , even though mine was approved for a year and still have 11 months to go ???? What the hell is going on with Accredo ? They need to do better than this and get their ducks in a row and in the same page !!!!!!im tired of this crap !!!! No just need my medicine , it’s due every 8 weeks and can get it about every 10 weeks because there is always a problem …..

Incompetent
They let me know on Saturday that my already late prescription will be delayed until next week. In one location it says I have no prescriptions available. In another place it says I have 5. I called last week and it said my prescription was ready to be delivered yesterday. Then I get a call yesterday that it is actually not ready. So I rush to get a new prior authorization, which I had done just a month ago since they couldn't transfer my information when I switched insurance. Now the woman on the phone says they don't have a prior auth, even though I confirmed yesterday that it was all ready to go, These people are incompetent and it harms patients.
Their service is terrible and no one cares
Their service is terrible. No one seems to know anything. Case numbers don't pull up information. It takes months to work through red tape. Obstacles after obstacles that are unclear as to why. It has to be intentional. No business could function this ineptly.

Would love to give Accredo ZERO stars. My employer switched insurance companies, and unfortunately the insurance company is using Accredo for specialty medications. We are only 5 days into the new year, and Accredo has been horrible to deal with. Thank you, Accredo, for failing to fill medications when requested, not calling me back when requested, and basically not doing your job. I can only hope my employer realizes the mistake and forces the insurance company to find another provider of specialty medications. This is going to be a long year.
Acreedo has one job and they fail
Acreedo has one job and it failed. Their job is to deliver its promise to deliver medication as needed . They cannot seem to get that done. They cause stress and uncertainty to patients that need their medication and it’s abhorrent.
Beyond awful
If I could rate it negative 1, I would. I got a vacation override from insurance, but Accredo cancels the order. This has happened for going on a month. I am now leaving on an extended vacation with no meds and no way to have them shipped to me. Do NOT use this company. They should be ashamed of how they treat people who need life-saving medications!

Training lasts 3 months for what should be a nurse’s job. Was illegally fired and was unable to contact HR before the manager had my computer shut down.
It took hours with employee service and was eventually promised a call by HR that never came.
Btw, HR & employee service are in 3rd world countries. They’re extremely rude, very difficult to hear & understand, and they give you the runaround for hours. Could say so much more about Accredo but will end it here.
