HORRIBLE COMPANY, EMPLOYERS STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU DONT WANT FUTURE PROSPECTS TO JOIN. They made my experience horrible almost costing me a job.STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY. FOR YOU ACCURATE BACKGROUND, GET BETTER.

Overall, a very frustrating experience. There is a clear lack of urgency, and customer service offers little to no real resolution, responses often default to “it’s our policy” without addressing concerns.

Education verifications are frequently delayed, and if any issues come up with your background check, you’re required to call them directly since they don’t handle these matters over email. Communication is also very disjointed they send multiple separate emails for different issues instead of addressing everything at once. We were told this is because different teams handle different parts of the process, which means you may have to call multiple times just to resolve a single application.

Overall, I would not recommend signing up with this company.

Useless company. Barely intelligible staff that fail to follow basic practice when leaving phone messages. I pity anyone relying on them for background screening.

Speechless. 1 months and keep asking documents already shared. Unbelievable

The worst background check company I know in my entire life. They could not provide the informations from their own company to complete a background. They gave me unaccurate advice to provide documents proof. They lacked flexibility, to facilitate the process, and did not accepted other employement documents to replace the one they could not accept. More than one week strugling on a daily basis, without solution, and having my start date postponed until unknown date because of them. It's a shame ! Also, I had to call 4 times to USA from Poland, and it's difficult to reach a supervisor. In total, around 25$ calls for such a bad experience.

If I could rate them less than 1 star I would. This is the worst background check company ive ever dealt with. Its been over a month now and they still havent processed my background check. It says its in review and the estimated days until completion keeps changing. Come to find out after many phone calls and messages between me and them, and a subsequent trip to Missoula County (where they claimed the hold up was) I find out they never even submitted a background check for me. They are liars and not worth a second of your time. If you're looking for a job and they go through this company, dont bank on it. If you are an employer thinking of using this service, avoid it like the plague.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided. On two separate occasions, I was informed that my previous employers could not be verified. What is most frustrating is that no real effort was made to contact me in order to resolve this issue or clarify the information.

I genuinely do not understand why companies continue to use the services of this agency, given the lack of professionalism, communication, and basic diligence I have experienced.

By far worst company ever for background never experienced any check that takes over a month with no update when asked. False update of it completed then saying oh its not even started.... close down please.

It’s nice to see how many people think of accurate, this company takes so long in geo their finger out will now end up in a small claims court, simply because they have take. So long in sorting any issues out and will of cost me probably about £1000 give or take in which case I will give them 14 days to pay , you want to be a ignorant people, then take this you cost me, I cost you, see you in a small claims court.

i’d like to rate it a 0 but i can only rate it a 1. extremely poor communication, it took them 7 days to email me and tell me that my background check needed more confirmation. 7 days?!? that’s not normal.

Constant technical problems on their site. I’ve had to call numerous times to email the documents they are asking for, then I’m unable to view anything I’ve uploaded or check the progress. It makes me extremely uneasy knowing they outsource work to other countries and don’t allow you to access your information you HAVE TO provide. I have no idea where my information is going, and asking me to email documents like tax forms and identification is extremely unsafe. There are much more reliable companies out there who don’t jeopardize your personal safety and data. Companies need to think twice before opening themselves up to lawsuits using them.

Absolutely the worst company to have your background ran with. Unprofessional, never calls back, issues with background checks that take over a month! Lost the job I applied for due to their lack of concern. Now I'm without a damn job with bills due. This company needs to be shut down ASAP!

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had has been with Accurate Background. They constantly ask for the same documents I have already submitted, which makes the process frustrating and unnecessarily repetitive. Their team is unprofessional, unsupportive, and very unhelpful when clarification is needed.
On top of that, their constant delays directly affect employees’ processing time, which can cause serious setbacks. Unfortunately, I have to go through my background check with them, but if I had the choice, I would never choose Accurate Background.

This company is not reliable. I did apply for mcdonalds and they using Accurate for background check and it took them almost a month until now no results were given. they told me that various agency is not giving the result they were asking and i was like I did some background check on my own and I did it faster than them. Another background check companies do their job very fast but this Accurate company was the worst one they didnt even start doing their job.

This company has cost me a very important job opportunity for me that I put a lot of effort and time into. It’s now going on two months with still no results or response.. and I applied with Amazon flex like a week or two after this job and already got clear complete results through this company that uses both accurate and checkr and checkr finished for Amazon. But I’m still sitting here waiting for accurate on the job that’s most important to me and at this point I believe that opportunity is gone.. completely ridiculous. Really bad company

The company pried about a case that was too old for them to legally look up, and then ghosted me after taking way too long in the first place to locate the case. So I mean they’ll illegally search and hold a case 14 years old over people’s heads without giving any individual case by case basis, so I mean if they’ll break the law and not follow Washington fair chance act then I guess that shows you how good a company they are. They’ll have you wait for employment for weeks on end and not inform you of anything either. So…

This company is garbage ans they will sell your information I was doing a background check for Amazon for a DSP driver what do you know I start getting calls from random numbers and even text about my driving. Record +all fake obviously+ these guys will sell your information. Pretty obvious do not trust these guys with your information

Recently was offered with a company who uses Accurate for their background and drug testing. Naturally, I started looking up reviews and when I saw the reviews on this site, it kind of terrified me. BUT, I’ve had a completely different experience. After completing the paperwork I was able to go and do the drug testing the same day and the lab sent instant results to the company. My background was completed in less than 2 days and sent over to the company as well. Only thing that was delayed was my own copy, after getting on a live chat with someone, he escalated it and I received it in my email the next morning—everything was correct. Got my offer on Wednesday and started the following Monday. Not sure why so many others have had such terrible experiences but that is not the case for me.

I wouldn't even give one star. It's been six weeks. No one seems to know why. Today, my company said it was my driving record holding them up. I logged into the DMV and had my spotless record in 35 seconds. This company is trash. The people who work here don't help at all. I've reached out by email and telephone over 15 times in six weeks. Terrible. Absolutely no reason for a background check to take this long.
