Amanda was very helpful and had empathy for my situation at the present time.

I am beyond disappointed with Advantage Finance.

After years of having an agreement with this company and making my payments, I have now discovered yet another missed-payment marker showing on my credit report. My report was updated on 20 September and is actually stating that I have “missed my most recent payment.”

What makes this even more infuriating is that my agreement has come to an end and I have made the final payment required from me. Instead of being able to walk away from this company with my account properly concluded, I am now having to fight to understand why my credit file is still showing missed payments and a substantial outstanding balance.

Do Advantage Finance understand the real-life consequences of what they report to credit-reference agencies?

This isn't just a number on a screen. A person's credit history affects their ability to obtain finance, credit and potentially a mortgage. I have worked hard to meet my financial commitments, and seeing my credit record potentially damaged like this is incredibly upsetting.

What frustrates me most is that I have already raised concerns about the reporting on this account. Why should a customer have to repeatedly chase a finance company to make sure the information being recorded against their name is accurate?

I now want Advantage Finance to explain publicly:

What payment exactly have I supposedly missed? Why is my credit report saying I missed my MOST RECENT payment when I have made my final payment? And why has this not already been properly resolved?

I have screenshots and payment records and I am formally disputing the information being reported.

I am giving Advantage Finance the opportunity to investigate this urgently, correct any inaccurate reporting with the credit-reference agencies and repair the damage caused to my credit record.

Until this is properly resolved, I could not in good conscience recommend this company to anyone.

Advantage Finance: please don't send me a generic response asking me to contact customer services. I already have. Investigate my account, explain the reporting, correct anything inaccurate and confirm in writing when it has been done.

Jemma was very helpful and accommodating, particularly in unwinding a purchase where I was not happy with the car and returned it. We found another and she worked to get the finance arranged quickly.
I did have an issue twice (which I don’t believe was her fault), where I waited on the phone apparently number 1 in the queue but the call was never answered. 48 minutes and 1 hour 15 minutes supposedly at the front of the queue with no response is extremely frustrating.

Advantage Finance has been a great company to work with. They are thoughtful, courteous, professional and very creative in approach, rather than mechanical. The agent that handled my call today, Sophie, further demonstrated these qualities. A real gem she is, and a great asset to the company. She deserves a pay rise.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Victoria as I had an issue that needed to be resolved and I dont think I could have been given a better advisor, throughout my whole call, she were very polite, incredibly helpful and soo understanding regarding not only my issue but the problem that caused my struggle. Within a short space of time everything were resolved and I left the phone call feeling my issues were forfilled. Should I ever need to calk again I can only pray that im lucky enough to get this advisor again, thanks again.
