Adventures on the Gorge Reviews 

This was our fourth white water rafting trip, but first on the Gauley and first with this company. They did an awesome job! Our guide was great, they provided a good lunch, and everything went smoothly. Would raft with them again!
The only negative is that the bus ride to the river is almost an hour long, but I feel like that is true for most companies.

Great! Would recommend!

Amazing trip. Nate Hollister was a great guide, would highly recommend to anyone headed there.

Brought my teenage son and nephew for the Deluxe Overnight--amazing. Our guide, Wes, was phenomenal, and the rapids were fantastic. We camped out at AOTG's site, and the entire evening was awesome. From the weather, to the campfire, to the incredible gourmet food, I can't say enough good things. I came home and told my wife that this is going to be an annual family trip. A+ all around.

The only issue was that we purchased a disc of photos for $65 from the second day, but the company (not AOTG) gave us the wrong day. Still great photos, but not what we ordered. They have not returned my calls or emails.

Tons of terrifying fun. Megan (aka River Queen) was an amazing guide. Already booked for next year.

Had a fantastic time! Well worth the money to do the day adventure. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and all the amazing history. Though we ordered a picture and was sent the wrong one but it’s still a great pic otherwise!

5Th year straight , always bringing new folks , lots of fun for everyone ! Gides are amazing!

Facility was very nice. Zip line staff were great and kept things light. Cabin was rustic but nice. We did have to have house keeping come and change sheets on a bed that looked soiled.

My family and I had a blast zip lining and white water rafting! Our guides were knowledgeable, entertaining and made us feel safe and helped us have fun the entire time. It was truly the best.

We had a GREAT time! Our guide was Foose... a fantastic young man and very knowledgeable!! The day was perfect, the food was good, and the staff was very good about following COVID guidelines :) Our only complaint is that finding the check-in area was a little confusing (lucky we arrived early and had plenty of time). Would do it all again in a heartbeat!!

Great trip. Guides were good, equipment was good, everything was great. The lunch during Covid was pretty disappointing but I understand that it has been a tough adjustment so I understand. I also miss the coffee and breakfast items that you used to put out. Nevertheless, it was a great trip as usual. We will be back and will recommend AOTG to anyone interested in rafting in WVA.

We had a great time! The adventures were exciting and fun, but safe! All the guides were very professional. The area was clean and very nice.

We had an excellent time! This is our second trip with this company and our experience has always been great. Will definitely book another trip again soon.

Very clean, 100% amazing staff and guides, all nature and one of the most memorable adventure of my 37 years of life on this earth. Truly one of the most beautiful places I have been!

The experience excellent. Everything we expected. Our guide Ara Marine was the best! Kept her cool against this group of land lubbers and, mostly, kept us in the raft. We are definitely requesting her again on our return!
