Where my first lawyer just turned silent when things got complicated, these lawyers stepped in and guided me from beginning to the end in a professional and comforting way. I had 3 attempts of purchasing land and in 2 occasions I got advice not to go forward with the purchase of these properties, for which I am grateful. They clearly respected my interest, unlike the real estate agents. A point of improvement could be the guidance and instructions of the local solicitors and notary. In my case that was not optimum. I hired Elsa Melancia through AdvocateAbroad to clarify a demand letter from a company in Portugal. Initially, she was polite and responsive, which gave me confidence in her ability to handle my case. However, my experience after paying the fee was extremely disappointing.

Communication became painfully slow, with emails often ignored. Responses only came when I threatened to escalate the matter with AdvocateAbroad or requested a refund. Even after more than two months, Elsa has not made any significant progress on my case.

This lack of professionalism and accountability is deeply frustrating, especially when dealing with time-sensitive legal matters like ours. I chose AdvocateAbroad expecting reliable and efficient legal assistance, but this experience has left me feeling angry and let down. I would not recommend this lawyer and AdvocateAbroad to others based on my experience.
