Overall, the product is decent. But if you miss a renewal cancellation, even by 10 hours, they will only refund you 90% and keep 10% as a "processing fee". In today's tech world, you can find companies with more user-friendly contracts and highly recommend you look at a competitor for service. I do not recommend them, based on this.

Do not use affiliatewp. Their software (if you can get it to work) is the bare minimum, they just want you to connect to multiple 3rd party paid plugins to make their software do what they say it does.

The pricing page makes it seem like that's the yearly price forever but it is ONLY for the first year!

First and foremost the customer service is shocking. It's obviously been outsourced to Asia and there's a disconnect to the main Dev teams. The guy who answers is nice enough but it's typical Asian 'sorry you feel that way' etc. They need to turn into a customer focussed company. Other plugins bend over backwards to make a good product, this company not so much.

Next I paid for a pro upgrade and the main reason for this was so my affiliates could generate QR codes in the software. Guess what, this doesn't work in the Pro version now. Second guess what: customer service said, yep you guessed it they fobbed me off with platitudes "sorry this doesn't work but...." . Not even a discount or partial refund.

The software seems to work. But I get the feeling that the devs spend all their time on ways to make you upgrade as that's continually rammed down your throat. Whereas if they spent that time on product development then people would be beating down their door to upgrade.

Even when I cancelled I had to go through 4-5 screens of them offering me 60% off to stay. This is the level of desperation the company has and it's just awful.

Oh I forgot too on install they opt you in a whole raft of crap plugins you don't want. Real sneaky *swear word of choice inserted here*. I had to identify which ones they were and manually delete them. As I'm just a small shop owner this gave me anxiety as I didn't know what they had installed and what these crappy plugins did or if they would affect my site in other ways. Way to screw with peoples livelihoods!

So I'd steer clear, or test out the individual version for a while first, that's what I'm going back too. Then I'm looking at other options. I may reluctantly stay with them due to inertia. But I'll not be recommending them to any people I know.

I just checked and they are still advertising QR codes in the affiliate portal. The portal is a PRO option only so this is a lie. Having told them about this about a month ago you'd think they would have removed it straight away. This is indicative of the company they are.

AffiliateWP is great plugin, but without good customer service it’s worthless like any other product!
They promise 24 hour response time and it’s been 3 days now and my following emails where I begged for help are ignored! Very frustrating!
They just keep pushing to buy “Pro” if I want better customer service! That is so unprofessional! I am happy with what I bought and as a paying customer and deserve equal attention.

I have had an amazing experience with Affiliatewp, the customer support has been genuinely helpful. Day after day all the help I need has been done. I needed a 7 level multi level marketing promotion plan set up and they did it for me. Affiliatewp support has gone above and beyond my expectation. I strongly recommend them. We have exchanged over 13 emails of genuine support.

I've been using AffiliateWP for years. It was very easy to set up.

Great plugin and great support. I could easily expand it's functionality with my own custom code and the support was always very helpful when a feature I wanted was missing.

They're still failing to complete the full translation of some foreign languages, but overall it's a great service and excellent for your affiliate program!

This is the gold standard affiliate plugin for Wordpress. I've tested several and now we use affiliateWP across all of our sites for affiliate marketing but also for tracking our FB ads with 100% accuracy. It's worth every penny and saves us thousands on ad tracking software like Hyros. And they've thought of everything in terms of add ons, such as lifetime tracking. It's invaluable and we highly recommend it.

Overall it is way too expensive as I don't use 90% of it. Found a very similar program that is a one-time purchase for a fraction of the cost.

They have been very supportive and quick to respond with help!
