Albumworks sits somewhere in the "pretty good, but why are you making this harder than it needs to be?" category.
The Mac software is a little iffy. It gets the job done, but there are moments where it feels like it was designed to test your patience rather than help you make a photo book. Computers are supposed to make life easier. It's a bold strategy.
Customer service, on the other hand, is excellent. They're quick to help and genuinely pleasant to deal with, which goes a long way.
Pricing is still on the high side, even during sales, so don't expect bargain-bin photo books. That said, the print quality is above average, with sharp images and solid colour reproduction that make the finished product feel premium.
Overall, if you're happy to pay a bit extra and can tolerate slightly temperamental Mac software, Albumworks delivers a quality product backed by great support.

Macs can be finicky things, and that's why we have created several FAQs to help with getting started on a Mac and other answers to important questions you may have.
We also have an Online editor, which may be an easier option for you if you'd like to give that a go next time.

It Just Works
The desktop application I use to make the photobooks is very easy to use and very intuitive. The resulting books are even better than I expected. I already have two more photobooks in the development stage.

Used Momento for years and this is my first book with Albumworks. I did rush this job without really getting to know and understand app, however my holiday book that I just received I am very happy with. The colour in the photos is so good. The communication of progress emails were informative and good to receive. I am working on another book at the moment and getting used to what the app can do and looking forward to seeing the outcome.
