The movers arrived on time and ready to work. They were able to accommodate my elderly mother and I really appreciate that. Jackson and Will were absolutely amazing and they were willing to do what was asked of them. The professionalism was above and beyond. I would absolutely recommend this service to anyone. I will definitely contact them for my next move.

A scam. Do not use this company. Severely disappointed and really thinking about moving this up the chain of command. A number of days prior to our move we were contacted to go over final details, pricing for materials if needed, damage coverage, and more. We were told we are the first move of the day and that the movers will be there between 8:30-9 am and we will get a call 15-30 mins before they arrive. Throughout the whole entire process, we have had multiple numbers text us telling us that “we qualify for free packing assistance at no charge” (which is a complete lie because they charge hourly so it would probably take them an hour or two to pack everything up and then they would charge you) or trying to have us upgrade our coverage, etc. all of this is annoying but not a big deal.

Moving day comes. We’re waiting for their call. Nothing. We finally start texting the numbers we have from all their random messages (Morgan and other names) and no response. Finally my husband calls a number and we get connected. It’s now 9:30 ish (and hour late pretty much) and we are told that the workers are still getting the truck ready and they’re 12 miles away. How is it that no one contacted us to let us know? The workers finally get there at 10:15. One worker is doing his job, the other is MIA somewhere in the truck. We did not have a lot to move (less than 30 items majority being smaller) and we did not need boxes or our things packed up for us. Somehow they stretch out the move and finally (2+ hours later) and it’s time to move to the second location (a storage unit). It’s a 16 miles difference and a 25 minute car ride. The workers go MIA for 45 minutes! They are still charging! When they get to the unit, FINALLY, we get charger $1100…. Why? Because they charged us $300 worth of materials. 6 quantities of tape, which makes no sense because they didn’t pack anything up for us and $200 worth (50 sheets to be exact) of paper pads????? Where are the materials!? Because I didn’t see them. We magically got refunded $81 dollars because they finished quicker than estimated, I guess they realized they couldn’t fully drag out the time like they tried. I’ve used other companies in different states with triple the amount of things to move and it’s never been this unprofessional or expensive for unaccounted materials. A complete scam. Look at Reddit and a quick google search on their main complaints and everything we experienced has been reported before. All they do is reply to bad reviews and say sorry and thank them for the feedback. It’s not enough. I was overcharged for materials I didn’t see and you can’t even argue about the price because they don’t unload your items until you pay. AVOID THEM.

The 2 gentlemen that they sent were courteous, careful, and very hard working My only issue was y that they only sent two, and I had informed them that I live on the third floor, I have some large and heavy pieces of furniture and no elevator. They should have sent at least one extra person.

Hands down excellent work ethic, good communication and easy to work with. They took care of all and anything we needed and well priced. Will use them for next move for sure!

I found all my sons on Yelp, and after speaking with Dave on the phone, decided to hire them for my move. They started at around 8:30 with a walk-through, and before 9 AM, they were packing up and moving things out of my three bedroom full basement and garage house. They were very efficient in making sure items were protected with cloth coverings and wrapped very tightly with their plastic cling so that there were no scratches or damages to any of my furniture. My TVs were wrapped very safely and put in the truck and places that prevented them from being damaged on the ride. The five workers who moved my house were very pleasant and hardworking. They took really no time off between the time they got there and the time we left to go to my new home. I was very impressed with their work ethic and how swiftly and efficiently they were moving to get my things packed safely and off to my new home. Arrived at my new home, payment was made and they worked hard to get things put where they belonged set up like my bed, couches, tables, etc, just as they were at my old home. The only thing that bothered me was that some things were left at my old home that I thought would have been brought, like the cords to my treadmill, elliptical, and Peloton bike, but in their defense they knew that I still owned the old home and would be going back to get several small items that I told them they could leave. Other than that, I would rate my experience a 9 out of 10 and recommend All My Sons moving & storage to anyone I know if they want an effective moving team. They started at 8:30 with the walk-through and by 4:00 PM sharp they were headed out of my driveway with everything being unpacked, put back together, etc. I was very impressed and would hire them again. I had a fantastic experience. If I had to complain about anything, it would be that the movers took longer than anticipated. But ultimately it meant they treated my items with care. They were open and friendly and went above and beyond to help make sure everything went where we wanted it to. Great experience, would recommend.

Movers were efficient and price was very close to the quote given. I found that accuracy in your pre-move assessment increases accuracy of the quote. I would use them again. Jerry was the crew chief and kept the move on schedule.

I was not happy with the different total amounts by the time the move ended. It went up drastic from the beginning price. However, the drivers were awesome. They had a great attitude, respectful and took care of my items. Thank you Alex and D

Well first off when I called to book my move I was not told it was extra for wrapping material like furniture blankets etc. ok mad but it is what it is. The guys were there for almost 2 hours and had but on a total of 3 furniture protecters on and a couple of things moved. I complained they moved faster. The took my jewelry armoire which I had my necklaces hanging in it and earrings in the drawers and turned it upside down and moved it! Who does that? Now my earrings are who knows where and my necklaces were all in a big bunch knotted up! My last move they understood you wrap the armoire and move it standing up but nope these 2 decided to turn it upside down so now my jewelry is gone or damaged and I actually tipped these buffoons before I realized that they lost or damaged my jewelry! Then they couldn’t get connection to pay the bill on the tablet so it was called in and I was charged 50 dollars to do this. I offered my WiFi said they couldn’t use it but somehow that became my problem and charged 50 dollars to take a payment. Don’t be fooled the prices might sound better but they stiff you elsewhere! We did most of the move prior to when they came aka boxes some of the beds and the only appliances they had to move was a fridge and it took them 6 hours. The last moving company I used moved a whole house in that time. So would I recommend them? absolutely NOT!

Marty and Kevin were AMAZING!!! I had been so stressed about moving, and they made it so easy and relieving!! they were very kind, funny, and efficient, and they took great care of my things. I had to ask maintenance to come unlock the door to the vacant apartment across from mine so that they could get my couch in, and Kevin later flagged down the maintenance guy in the parking lot to ask for a drill so he could help me get my bed frame set up so I had somewhere to sleep on my first night. Marty and Kevin did more than just their jobs, and I’m very grateful for them!!

Let’s talk start to finish! The first call I spoke with Josh he was great no issues very informative and personably explained everything! They called to follow up 2 days before and I got a different gentlemen he began reading me the same questions kind of annoying but I get it! I decided to add an additional mover because it was going to be hot and I didn’t want to over exhaust 2 guys! It was more per hour but would have got done faster! The guys Maurice and Alfredo showed up on time but without an extra guy! They were very respectful and of course I complained, Maurice was pleasant and said we will take care of me. I explained why I hired an extra guy! So now it’s gonna take longer and cost me more! I called dispatch yes I was upset but this guy Chris was nothing but a jerk! Saying the extra guy wasn’t added to my paperwork but somehow the 2 movers knew otherwise! We went back and forth and he ended up hanging up on me! That’s what made me pissed! Terrible customer service! I will say Maurice and Alfredo made up for it! Treated my belongings as if they were there own I had a storage unit it was packed well and they set up my beds in put things in the right place! Very personable friendly and hard working! I felt bad because it was hot for them! Maurice did work to get me a discount for the mess up in which I appreciated but I could have saved more with 3 movers! I would use Maurice and Alfredo again they were top notch for sure but not this moving company as a whole! Chris needs classes on customer service skills or be fired for hanging up on customers! Then when I called back in the afternoon no one answered which also pissed me off! I was happy with service not the communication and defiantly not the attitude from Chris! For that fact I will not use this company again! The price was fair because I had 2 stops! I was grateful for Maurice and Alfredo they worked efficient and effectively the company should be happy to have 2 stealer employees in a moving business because it’s hard work!

Service was great from start to finish. Movers arrived on time and made sure all my office furniture was moved and placed at my new location with no errors.

The movers were quick, very professional. I will be using them again. 10/10 recommended.

I hired All My Sons in early September 2026 to help me move a couple cities over into my new apartment. Well, let me tell you, this was the moving experience from hell, but NOT because of All My Sons. In fact, I’m so extremely grateful to have had them help me with this move, because I absolutely wouldn’t have been able to do it without them. I had to move into a fourth floor apartment while our buildings elevator was broken, by myself, because my husband is out with the Navy. All My Sons could’ve easily refused to help with something this difficult, but they sent their best guys to me - Daquon, Kimbrough, and Andreas. It was a long day and I feel trauma bonded with them over this difficult move, haha. You guys are awesome and to the reader - if you’re in the Hampton Roads area, I can’t recommend this company enough. Better yet, ask for Daquon, Kimbrough, and/or Andreas…they will NOT let you down. Thanks guys. You made a hellish move a heck of a lot easier on me.
