The 2 guys that moved my furniture were amazing. They were very courteous and careful with my belongings despite the rain! Definitely will use them again.

We were very happy with our movers in Portland. We had to find movers last minute and they were able to find availability (practically same-day).

The two guys who moved us were fantastic. They were honest, worked quickly, were very friendly and did a great job! All of our boxes and furniture were intact and they only took four hours to complete, even though the two locations were 30 minutes apart.

Highly recommend.

*********AVOID AT ALL COSTS********* Absolutely nightmarish and that’s putting it mildly. I’ve never had a moving experience this horrendous. They arrived late, didn’t have their own tools so they had to use mine, and damaged my home and multiple items while moving. They will hold your items hostage on the truck and won’t unload them until you pay your whole bill first. Since when do labor-related jobs get paid before finishing the job? That was never disclosed. Nothing like being helpless on a day that’s as stressful as it is. I spoke with management and they couldn’t care less. When I tried to escalate the situation to someone I thought might care, they ducked my calls for over a week knowing I was unhappy with what happened. I had to drive 45 minutes to the actual building to attempt to resolve. They did nothing and directed me to customer care. They weren’t any better. No compensation for the experience and they won’t honor any damage claims once your items leave your home. Most items are damaged while moving, not when it’s still in your home. No accountability for their absolute incompetence. They also lie about their charges and attempted to alter my invoice. I had to dispute the charges with my credit card company. None of this is embellished or fabricated so please heed my warning and stay away from this company. My life is worse for ever having dealt with them.

They guys spent most of the time texting and taking breaks every load they took to the truck. When i complained about it taking twice as long as it would be, they threw a fit, started cussing out their job and the company and they were quitting and just started throwing my stuff into the apartment. It was a horrible experience. When i called again to let them know what happened, they were going to talk to their boss and get back to me but never did. Would not recommend at this point.

Movers were fast, professional and handled my furniture with care. Final estimate/cost was a little higher than expected

I moved from Washington, DC to Atlanta with All My Sons in June 2026, paying $6,384 plus Full Value Protection with a $0 deductible. I would not hire them again.

I completed their required video estimate in full, yet the crew left about 10% of my belongings behind in storage. All My Sons then quoted $2,500 to deliver what they had failed to load. After I pushed back, they accepted $750, and my items arrived three weeks later.

Eight items were damaged or lost, including a missing suitcase, an 82" Samsung TV with a cracked screen, and two mirrored end tables. I submitted a $2,579.88 claim with professional repair documentation. Despite the Full Value Protection I paid for, they offered $664, then $944, with no itemized explanation.

Getting a response has been nearly impossible. Over two months I called more than 15 times, sometimes holding for an hour with no answer, and sent more than 10 emails that went unanswered. They never provided the itemized breakdown or arbitration details I requested and ignored my final demand letter entirely.

"Full Value Protection" means little when the company won't honor it or return a phone call. Choose a different mover.

I would recommend All My Sons Moving for anything I had to move, no matter how big or small. I had a difficult job (a lot of items to be packed) and furniture moved up and down several stairs. The individuals they sent were amazing; were so helpful and could not have been nicer.

Mario and his team were great! No issues, nothing broken, very delicate when moving all the furniture. Would recommend to anyone!

A great crew showed up on time. Every member of the crew was polite, engaging and were concerned about my happiness. They worked hard but carefully, completing the task quickly. They kept asking where I wanted things. It was a perfect job!

I wanted to share an honest and balanced review of All My Sons Moving company. There were things I appreciated about the experience, but there are also several concerns that I feel are important to mention,
First, I appreciated that the company was responsive and professional in its communication. They called me two days before the scheduled move to confirm everything, which I appreciated. When the movers arrived, the truck was fully stocked with moving supplies and clearly branded on the outside, which gave the overall impression of a professional opperation.
For context, I was moving out of a 590 squarefoot apartment, I am a woman, and I had originally moved myself into this apartment with a truck and three girlfriends and no dolly or professional equipment, and the entire move took approximately 4 hours. For this move, I had everything completely packed and boxed ahead of time. I did not have a large amount of furniture, nothing was particularly heavy, and there were no complicated furniture breakdowns invovled. My nightstands for example, were inexpensive amazon nightstands that I assembled myself and were very lightweight, and all the drawers were completely empty. I also did not need anything removed from my walls including window treatments and shelving (I did that alone).
When the movers arrived they assessed the apartment, which is completely reasonable. However there were a few instances where I felt time was being used unnecessarily. For example, I specifically told the movers I did not need a table to be moved because a friend was coming to pick it up. Despite that, they wrapped the table and began moving it anyway. I had to stop them and remind them that I had specifically said not to move it. When youre being charged approximately 50.00 every 15 minutes, or 200$ per hour, those minutes matter. Also when I went over to the new apartment which was less than 5 miles from my old one it took them about an hour to get to me after (finishing loading the truck). I was the one holding the door and helping them move my stuff to the truck.
Another concern was that the movers spent a significant amount of time going thought he moving agreement on the ipad after the clock had already started. I understand that paperwork needs to be reviewed and signed, but I feel this information should have been provided ahead of time whenever possible. When customers are being charged by the hour, administrative tasks should ideally be completed before the movers are on the clock so that the paid time can be spent actually moving.
The biggest issue for me was the amount of time the move took. The movers arrived around 9:30am and the move wasn't completed until approximately 3:30pm. My new apartment was only about four miles away and I also helped throughout the entire process. I don't mind helping, and I was happy to do what I could, but given that I paid more than 1,300 including the tip, I expected the movers to be doing the majority of the physical moving work.
I stayed at the new apartment and helped Liam throughout the process. At the new buliding, Angel was moving items from the truck to the elevator but only one person was consistently comping upstairs with the furniture and boxes. As a result, I was physically helping carry and move items into the apartment. Again I was willing to help, but I did not expect to be doing this much physical labor hiring professional movers.
There was also a significant amouhnt of time spent simply getting packed boxes from the old apartment to the new one. At one point it took approximately an hour for the process of getting everything from the old apartment to the new apartment to happen, despite the buildings only being four miles apart. When the movers did come up to the new apartment it was to "look at the space" but they did not bring anything up with them at that time, so that also added additional time while the clock was running.
By around 2:45 pm I was so concerned with how long everything was taking that I told the one guy I saw that was upstairs to just put everything in the apartment and don't unwrap the tv or anything because I wanted the move completed. As a result, alot of my belongings were ultimately left wrapped rather than fully unpacked/placed.
Unfortunately, I also had some damage to the few pieces of furniture that were especially important to me. My white velvet bed frame was damaged and has black marks all over it, which I am currently making a claim for. My Room & Board couch was placed on something inside the truck that left what appear to be bolt imprints on the back of the couch. Also my one small coffee table came apart and is missing a screw on one of the legs.
Overall my biggest concerns were the amount of time charged, physical work I did myself, and the damage to my belongings.

The 4-star rating is because all staff members i interacted with over the phone and both of the movers who came out were extremely professional, personable and efficient! Pricing was explained to me numerous times and final costs far exceeded my initial quote. I think this company should do better with pricing and time minimums for customers making short moves. A++ for the staff and how they treat people!

Everything went wrong. They never kept my stuff in safe harbor (PODS) and so our stuff had been destroyed by months of MOLD and was $$$ ruined. Lost thousands on this move and they were totally AWFUL.

First, I wanna start off by saying that the movers were great. They didn’t give us any issues and they were very professional. However, regarding the administrative part, it was horrible. We dealt with a supervisor by the name of Mike which gave us misleading information. We were initially quoted a rate of 209 per hour, which was not an issue. However, when we receive the invoice, the invoice was over $1600. They charged us for gas when we literally moved around the corner 1200 feet from our old place. It was completely overpriced and we did not anticipate that at all. They left out vital details regarding different charges that we would accrue. Had we known that we would never have agreed from the beginning. This was very unprofessional very misleading, and we were mishandled as customers I would never recommend this company to anybody not even my worst enemy.

The movers did an amazing job from start to finish. They were so friendly, polite, courteous and professional. They were very careful with our furniture and totes. They finished even faster than we thought they would. We would recommend them to family and friends.

Staff was really efficient and took care of my belongings! 10/10 for both of the movers. Thank you!
