Total regret using this company. They were well over an hr late with no communication about that. They advertise all professional movers. Only one would I have said that about, three out of the four very nice guys, but definitely two out of the four had little or no experience and the fourth one was mouthy, rude, and careless. Should have fired him on the spot, should not have even been there. There was a misleading $100 deposit that was supposed to go towards your final bill, but they actually add it to your final bill. What the heck??
Should have accomplished way more of an unload, considering we had four men that showed and I helped as well as my husband with a piece of machinery.
Real nice on the phone, but that’s as far as the goodness went.
Very pricey for what we got.
Should’ve gone with another moving company with two men that we were going to use and have secondhand experience of how great they are.

The communication was awesome and the team was great! I would hire them again.

It took a lot longer then i expected but the 2 men who came were excellent and really cared about my belongings. The only thing that could’ve been better would’ve been if there would’ve been more than two men to save time

Aaron and Max from the south Indy location were amazing! Hard working, careful and courteous. I underestimated the amount of belongings I had and the job took longer than originally expected. Never once were they negative. They were pleasant though out the whole move. If I were moving again, I would ask for Aaron and Max! And an extra helper 😂

I did not have any issues when booking my move. I even had to move the original reservation to a day later due to closing. Very easy and the office staff were very helpful.

Showed up on time, super friendly and helped with lots of heavy items. Great team.

All My Sons made my move a lot less stressful than I thought it was going to be. It was raining and cool and they did a great job! They took great care in ensuring my furniture and electronics were properly covered and protected. I had a bit of a disjointed move and they made me feel at ease with that. Will definitely use them again if I need to in the future.

Movers were professional and friendly, moved our belongings with care. I highly recommend them.

Ron and his crew did an amazing job! We had to move our entire house and between the 3 of them we were wrapped up in 6 hrs!

From start to finish everyone I spoke to and interacted with were amazing. Everything was explained clearly. The 3 man moving team was great! They moved fast and were so careful with all of our items. They were a great group of guys.

This is HANDS DOWN the best moving company! Scottie, Kurvins, and Rogers helped us move and they were amazing. They handled large, extremely heavy, and delicate items incredibly well - and they each had a GREAT attitude! I can’t thank these guys enough for making our move so easy! And the price is incredible reasonable.

Absolutely impressed with the service I received. Obidayah, Delvin, and Ryan were awesome. Not only did they get the job done extremely quickly, but they were pleasant and somehow managed good conversation while working. They're a good team. Jokes were made and good rapport was had. 10/10 experience.

I scheduled my move a week out, but had to reschedule three times due to closing issues with my new house. They were so kind and understanding, and never made me feel bad about having to reschedule. Plus, the movers worked really hard and did a great job!

Jordan and Kaleel (sorry if misspelled) were more than up to the task. We moved into a house with difficult access and they had no trouble executing a game plan to get our heavy and awkward items up.

We hauled quick and got it done. They were more than accommodating for any request or modification as needed and handled everything with care.

They even removed and reinstalled a door to make sure my daughter's crib fit through without being damaged.

Would recommend.

BAIT & SWITCH. “Megan” texts you a referral link to pass along. I told her, via text, I didn’t know anyone who was moving, but I was. Megan replied that repeat customers get a $100 discount. When I arranged my move, I told them about the discount. They asked me to copy and paste those texts into a text and send it to them and to email screenshots to ncmteam at newcitymoving dot com. I did both. They sent me a final bill of lading. Upon reviewing it, I didn’t see the $100 discount. I also didn’t see my $100 deposit applied to the total. I was told that there’s a minimum one hour drive time at $150 per hour, a minimum two man crew at $150 per hour with a two hour minimum. My calculator says that’s $450 total. Less my $100 deposit equals $350. Less my $100 discount is a total of $250. Keep in mind that I retain every text, email, and phone call summary. Today, I called to ask why my total was $450, not $250. The man who answered the phone said he needed to transfer me to “operations.” A female answered. She claimed no Megan worked there. I told her that a couple of days ago I was told there IS a Megan there. “We don’t give discounts. We’re regulated. We don’t have a Megan.” I asked to speak with a supervisor. She said she’d transfer me. I waited on hold to be transferred. Ten seconds later, she hung up on me. This is a classic bait and switch scam. They promise a discount. They promise your deposit will be applied to your total. Then they charge you almost double what they should. If you’re foolish enough to use this company, “New City Moving” AKA “All My Sons Moving & Storage,” be sure to budget TWICE what they quote. Save all correspondence. At the bottom of the bill of lading is “Call the ILCC-Public Staff's Transportation Division at “. Leaving off the number won’t stop me from reporting them to the Illinois Commerce Commission, FTC, and Illinois State Attorney General’s office. BAIT & SWITCH!

Let me start by saying the actual moving crew was excellent and great guys. However, the sales person that got me signed up was completely misleading. First off the price for a flat rate move ended up being 1000 more than I was quoted. The Detroit location apparently doesn't do any setup once they deliver your items (apart from reassembling bedframes). My moving crew was kind enough to make sure that the couches were actually usable after I expressed some surprise that they would just be left sitting "wherever" and disassembled. I would give the moving crew 5 stars all day, but the companies sales team is misleading and so is their pricing.

The movers were great. Very professional and courteous crew. The made sure everything was put back together before they left and took all the trash with them (at a cost of $100). Not sure how I ended up using $700 in materials though. The 15% fuel charge was also not originally mentioned when I was booking the service only the hourly rate which felt like a little bit of a bait and switch. Was pressured to put down a $100 deposit to “lock in” a discounted rate when I was calling to get quotes. My move date did have to get rescheduled due to an issue with their truck which was a pretty massive inconvenience, but they took $200 off. Ended up spending about $2600. The move was local about 4-5 miles away so a $400 fuel charge seems a bit bogus. The movers are great but the billing is a little questionable.

The 2 guys that moved my furniture were amazing. They were very courteous and careful with my belongings despite the rain! Definitely will use them again.
