I bought 2 platypus from All Outdoor through amazon - and they were faulty with a leak from the start. It took a while to get a response to emails, but I now understand that this was over the Christmas period.
After a bit of to and fro-ing the owner contacted me directly and has now agreed to replace them.

Conversations show they care about the customers and their reviews!

Not a good business. 1st I ordered a Thermarest XthermMAX Large sleeping mat. The one that arrived is not brand new. The air valve has been repaired and I can see the traces of HotBond from a Thermarest valve repair kit. I asked for a replacement that took weeks and a month of shipping so it's so inconvenient if you needed it on time. Good thing a brand new replacement arrived, I can tell from comparing from the old air valve. Still they do ship old/used or defective items SO BE WARNED - READ OTHER REVIEWS. 2nd I ordered an MSR Dromedary water bag 10L, arrived with NO small cap lid, rendering the water bag useless. I have emailed them and a customer service said it is on the way but there's no dispatch record on the order history. Already followed-up many times and to ask for the tracking number and no more reply from them. Seems that they don't care shipping the small cap lid to correct their mistake. UPDATE:3/21/2017 I would not like to leave 1-star but After 2 months I visited the Postal Office to receive packages, still no replacement fulfillment of the Lid.

Great quality customer service! I wasn't sure about the right product to buy but after speaking with them I knew what I wanted and I was very happy with the products I purchased, excellent quality! A great company I will use again and again!

After a recent bad experience with online shopping - an Amazon retailer sent me a completely wrong item. I repeated the process to check I wasn't going mad, and sure enough there was some computer subterfuge which (when there wasn't the product you wanted in your size) conveniently ordered a similar product for you. Albeit in the correct size. A jacket without a hood was no use to me on this occasion, so a repack and traipse to the Post Office was needed.

alloutdoor have come to the rescue and restored my faith in online delivery. The parcel even arrived with brilliant comms the following day, exactly on time in a one hour window.

Beware of inferior retailers people!

What a great rucksack, sold my other low alpine air zone 45-55. Still a great sack with openings made easier by a buckle and not a clip, still great and comfortable as it sits on your hip and shoulders. Got all my winter gear in it no problem. When Scrambling I no longer get restricted by the plate in the back as I can now tilt back further which is one less distraction.

I have used this company twice now in recent months. On both occasions I ordered a Victorinox Swiss Army knife with engraving. I had to speak to Customer Services for help with the engraving request as the website order form could be clearer if it included boxes to indicate the positioning of the engraving, no of characters and cost (in my opinion). The first order in November arrived in a couple of days and I was very pleased. Fast order processing and delivery and I was pleased with the product. I recommended them to a friend who also had a seamless experience. I put in another order for a Xmas present at beginning of Dec but this never arrived. I rang Customer Services and they confirmed it had been despatched but asked me to allow a few days more to allow for Xmas post. It still didn't arrive so they sent a replacement with engraving which I received 2 days later. It's good to see a company who can put things right even if it was no fault of their own. They saved my Christmas! I would have no hesitation in ordering again.

Did business with this company twice once through there eBay facility and then directly via there website. I have to say there service was friendly and efficient and they couldn't do enough to help. This was refreshing after been let down by another retailer. Ended up dealing with the CEO seen as I required an item in a hurry and he bent over backwards to help

The ScreenSkates arrived very quickly and well packaged. They are exactly as described and good value. I would certainly use this company again again.

We ordered two sets of poles, one set we ordered direct, which arrived the next day. Excellent! The second set however we bought through Amazon who gave us the usual window of delivery and told us they'd been despatched. It was only over a week later, when we contacted All Outdoor that we found that they hadn't been dispatched and weren't even in stock!
To All Outdoor's great credit they arranged to have a pair of poles delivered to us direct from their supplier, and the poles arrived the next day.

Can't fault this company. Very rapid delivery, competitive pricing and well packaged items. I very stupidly return a pacsafe lock thinking it was jammed. Couldn't believe the trouble staff went to by informing me that the lock was fine and that they would very kindly return it free of charge. Even better was the kind offer to set the safe combination lock to my desired code. All returned in couple of days by tracked post. Absolutely wonderful and all set for South America trip later today!! Thank you all so much especially Terri Jade for her politeness and great assistance.

I have to praise the Customer Service which I received from All Outdoors this morning. Unfortunately the item we wished to purchase is no longer being manufactured but suggestions for an alternative were offered and two manufacturers were contacted for further information during our 'conversation'.

My knife arrived within a couple of days of ordering, and when I requested a return (although I've changed my mind and am keeping it), I received a friendly reply the next working day. Very pleased with everything.

I would highly recommend the Alloutdoor company for its honest representation of products, ease of ordering, excellent pricing and fast delivery. I needed a new valve for my hydration pack and it came just three days before the marathon. This company is on my best sellers list!
