I purchased my Ampere Deluxe Pro step through bike from Eco bike company after a hold up with the delivery. I found it easy to assemble and very comfortable to ride I'm very pleased with it

The ampere hilux is a well designed and well made electric bike that is simple to assemble and comes with all the tools required to do so. The LCD screen gives you clear and comprehensive information. I have enjoyed riding it and have just bought a new one as my first one was stolen. Tremendous value for money.

Picked up my alter lo bike yesterday from Cycle King took it out today, what a great ride ,I had I have bad knees and after talking to other people decided to get an ebike as some of my friends have the same problem and all said it helps. After two rides out today how pleased I am not been able to cycle so far for years and no pain. The bike is a Alter Low step through .

1st time electric bike user ,purchased from Leisurelife sw who were really knowledgeable and helpful. Advised on the best bike for what i would be using it for. I purchased a Ampere Deluxe step through and absolutely delighted with it especially for going uphill.
We have since gone back and brought a electric bike for my husband.

Bought the Ampere Alter step through for my wife who has mobility issues. Chose it because it seemed the best balance of features and price, and very happy with the outcome. Nicely set up, the frame feels well up to the job, and the wide tyres add to comfort. As ever, these bikes are pretty lumpy, and the fold is a bit awkward as a result, but that's a minor niggle. All in all, very happy and would recommend.

I have found Ampere staff to be very helpful, knowledgeable and understanding with questions re the bikes and when asking for specific delivery dates. They are flexible and courteous, and will respond via phone or mail very quickly. I purchased an x-trail 27.5", and I'm very happy with it. Great quality of build and very smooth to ride. The mechanics of the bike are good and gear changing on the move is almost unnoticed. I especially like the ability to set up the level of assist power via the menu on the display unit. Overall, I cannot fault the service or the bike.

Great bike. Very comfortable. Shame that the back rack set up precludes most pannier options and Ampere haven’t bothered to respond to my email enquiry asking for appropriate panniers

I ordered some spokes off the website and it stated free delivery upon going to pay for the product I noticed that it popped a delivery charge on so that is not good. I contacted them in order to ask what was going on via email through the contract us section just in case somewhere along the line in the basket it puts on the free delivery but I couldn't see anything. I did not get a reply back for this query however I did get contacted eventually from someone asking which length of spoke I was requiring, the gentleman I spoke to was very helpful, very courteous and he gave me a bike shop local to me that I could go to in order to ascertain exactly what size spoke I needed. This of course was a bit of a problem because I would have thought that on the website it would have had different lengths of spoke. I told him which bike I have that I was looking spokes for and he didn't know which was right for my needs as the bike had had several versions so this caused confusion. In short I give 3 starts for the misleading advertising but 4 for customer service. I did also get an email offering 10% off to help make my mind up to complete the transaction and whilst not as great as having free delivery was a step in the right direction. But it would be more beneficial for them to ensure correct product to the bike or not sell that product to begin with. After putting the spokes on I'm now worried as I can see cracks appearing on my rear rim and as this houses the electric hub I'm concerned that a costly replacement could also result in getting an incorrect rear wheel.

Bought an Ampere Deluxe at Leisure South West. They were very helpful and let me try cycles in the yard to make sure I got the one I wanted. I had been riding a much heavier ebike but am getting no younger. The Deluxe has everything I could want and is light enough to pick up one handed (bear in mind I'm an ancient old biddy). This ebike is a pleasure to ride and I found the service to be excellent.

Oddly enough I met a woman yesterday who got a Deluxe 2.5 years ago from Leisure South West, commutes every working day and is still very happy with her choices.

I needed a charger and they have sorted me out, I have also been riding the x-train 29” for about 6 months now and I have to say it’s beautifully build and engineered it’s so smooth, I just wished it started quicker, like at red lights but that’s why I’m installing a throttle, which you can also purchase from them

Very helpful at leisure south west on Exeter Sowton estate. Took me through all details I required to get going.
Once was a road bike user but following four knee operations had to look for an alternative. The Ampere Hilex has provided the answer and I’m back out riding again. Would highly recommend.

Not had the bike long but seems well made and gets up our test hill with no difficulty!

Very easy to order, delivery was super quick - only 2 days! Assembly instructions were not great, pictures were of a different model and in the end I had to get help to assemble the bike. However I couldn't be happier with the bike itself.

Supplied a new electric bike with next day delivery and they showed me how to fit the accelerator button by sending a video. Top service.

I am not as fit as I used to be and live in a very hilly area (edge of Peak District), therefore, my 23 year old bike was just sitting in the shed. I purchased my Ampere Deluxe Pro after a bit of research, and talking to Eco Bike. It is perfect for cycling into town, and cycling around the hilly lanes, keeping me active, but offering assistance when the hills just get too much. It is very easy to understand, you can turn the assist off when not required, or choose from Eco through, Norm, Sport, Turbo and Smart. It comes with lights (front and back), mud guards, and a rear rack.
The part assembly required upon delivery was not difficult, however, can be a bit tricky, as the instruction book was not totally accurate.
A useful addition is a rear-view mirror for when on the main roads, I purchased one from Amazon that fastened onto the handlebars very easily and is perfect. So far so good, very happy (I deducted one star due to slightly tricky assembly, I had to get a replacement quick release bolt for front wheel as it snapped upon assembly)

Very beautiful and comfortable bikes. Good quality.
