If you're on the fence about switching to an e-bike, just buy the Ampere Deluxe 700C. Honestly, it has completely changed how I get around, and I could never go back to a standard pushbike now.
The first thing that hits you is just how comfortable it is. The upright riding position, front suspension fork, and plush saddle mean you don't feel every bump and pothole in the road. You can ride for miles without feeling stiff or sore.
You get so much bike for your money. The build quality feels premium from top to bottom. The high-torque 65Nm motor makes steep hills feel flat, the battery range is fantastic, and features like the hydraulic disc brakes, colour LCD display, integrated lights, and rear rack mean you don't need to buy a dozen add-ons. Everything is built right into the design.
It turns commuting and weekend rides into an absolute breeze instead of a chore. Smooth, reliable, incredibly practical, and pure fun to ride. Easily one of the best purchases I’ve ever made!

Great ebike for shorter riders
I've wanted an electric bike for a while now and hired different brands on holidays to try them out. But I'm 5ft1 and found them all too big and heavy. So I was really pleased to find the Ampere Deluxe 26 designed for shorter riders by a UK company. It's much more comfortable for me to ride and move and I prefer the more upright riding position. I bought through a local bike shop who assembled the bike for me and I found the whole process easy and clear. I'm really happy with my new Ampere and looking forward to many new bike adventures.

After a long hard search I finally decided on the Ampere Deluxe Pro . Which I bought from Thomas at Ampere Electric Devon. And he was Amazing from our first to the last communication they were Outstanding, giving regular updates ref the shipment and arrival date. When it arrived the packaging was excellent. I’m now a proud owner of a fantastic e-bike, and will have no problem recommending Ampere Electrics.

Fun and fab
Having already got an all-singing, all- dancing electric bike, I wanted something a bit more fun, and after much research I settled on the Ampere Alter folding bike. I'm so glad I did as Percy ticks all the boxes. Being a motorcyclist I love the mag wheels and horn, much better than the 'tink tink' on my other bike. Being lighter and smaller, I find him easier to move around when off the bike, especially in town, or exploring in countryside villages. All in all a great choice, and a shout out to the lads at Soanes Cycles of Colyton, and a big 'thank you' for all their help and excellent service.

Just buy one
This is an excellent bike for the money. I wanted a step through e-bike as my mountain biking days are over. I did a lot of research but kept coming back to Ampere and I’m glad I did. I can ride it fine with no assistance on the flat and just use the power to get me up the hills. The Eco Bike Company were also very good in terms of keeping me informed and answering questions.

Pink Ampere step through.
I love my bike, easy to ride. Power is good and the colour is what I wanted.
Battery covers 55miles on flat.
The only thing is the indicators are close together and it is difficult for anything behind to know which direction you are turning.

Had the bike two weeks and done about…
Had the bike two weeks and done about 250 miles. Lovely to ride. Have yet to do more than 30 miles in one go to see how battery lasts. My only complaint is the % battery drops in random amounts. One minute there is 80% then suddenly it’s 66%. And this is in lowest power level.

Regarding the battery percentage, what you're seeing is completely normal. The battery management system estimates the remaining charge based on factors such as terrain, rider input, wind conditions, and the level of motor assistance being used. As these conditions change, the percentage can adjust accordingly, so you may notice it dropping in larger increments at times. The most accurate indication of remaining range is usually after you've been riding consistently for a short while.

Great Electric Bike
Used my new Ampere step through electric bike for the first time this weekend and it was great! It's so easy to use, and the sizing is perfect (I'm 5ft tall, and bought the small frame) I also love the design and colour. I can't wait to use it again!

Deluxe Pro
After speaking with my local bike shop about replacing my current e-bike, they recommended the Ampere Deluxe Pro. I have osteoarthritis, so riding a regular bike is no longer a practical option for me.
I had to wait just over a month for the bike to arrive, but it was well worth it. Riding it home from the shop, the difference compared with my old bike was immediately noticeable. The ride is much smoother, the gear changes are seamless, and the motor is so quiet you hardly notice it's there.
So far I've only used Eco mode, and it has handled the local hills and the local Redway network with ease. I'm really looking forward to taking it on some longer rides to see what it can do, but my first impressions have been extremely positive.
My only minor niggle is removing the battery. I found it quite difficult at first, and the manual doesn't explain how to remove it, which would have been helpful for new owners.

Ampere De luxe
I received my Ampere de luxe mid drive stepthro' Electric bike yesterday, My husband very quickly put the bike together, about 40 mins from opening the box, Then spent time adjusting the saddle/handlebars to suit.
The quality appears to be good and after charging the battery I had a short ride, the bike felt fine.
One problem is that the controls for the display are completely different any shown in the instructions.
