Reception is poor, quality of hearing is poor too, regret purchasing

Bought for a 95 y/o with macular degeneration and they are delighted with it, particularly as the buttons speak the number aloud as they are dialling
Havent had a chance to set up the other functions yet but recepient is very happy so far.

Considering these phones are designed for people with hearing issues and sight problems they are good but there are a few things which could be MUCH better.
1) The replay message button is TINY and does not light up or flash if there is a message. Also it's right next to the turn off answer phone button!
2) Answer phone messages are only played through the base station (not the handset or any of the extra handsets)
3) The amplifier BOOST button only works on the corded handset not when playing answerphone messages.
4) The announcement recorded by the microphone on the base station is muffled and lacks clarity when played to a caller. The message left by callers are unclear and difficult to hear when replayed as they are replayed by the speaker on the base station and doesn't benefit from the boost button. We would expect this to be much better on a phone such as this.

Different ringtones for different regular callers

Only just starting the phone which is great and easy to use

We got this phone for my 96 year old mother - not as easy to use as it seems and unless she was calling via whatsapp no-one could hear her. We sent it back for testing and they said it was fine and £8 to return to us. We previously had samsungs for her and regret swapping to this inferior phone - lesson learnt

Simply when on line the staff were most helpful and a pleasure to be in contact with anf I hope that when I am next in contact they will respond as quickly and as efficient as this time

Fast delivery and great product

Telephone was bought for my 90 year old partially deaf mum. It gave her so much confidence .

The phone was not suitable and the company took a lot of trouble trying to find a phone that met my requirements, without success. The phone was accepted back for a full refund.

Excellent service & product

Installed for my 93 year old Mother as I purchased for Christmas. I bought it as her hearing is bad, she is struggling with the new phone. When people are talking on the handset it is harder to hear than with a normal phone. The only way she can hear is on speaker with the handset removed. The caller says it’s difficult to hear her so slightly frustrating. We’ve turned up all the volumes. Think we need more assistance as it’s not that easy based on the instructions.

Very quick delivery

Bought this phone to replace one my mum has had for nearly a decade. It’s very good though she does say it’s not as loud as the origional. All in all great delivery and the phone still is very loud compared to a standard phone.

Easy to buy online, really pleased with phone as it suits my 93yr dad in a Care Home. It's easy to use too. Amplified Telephones were efficient and kept me informed of tracking and phone arrived as arranged. They also followed up and checked all went well. Very pleased with service.
