The booking process was easy
The booking process was easy, very clear information given over the phone prior to the survey being carried out. The team were always easy to get hold and the survey arrived on time and in good detail. They also had no issue arranging a follow up call so I could run through a few questions I had on the report. Would highly recommend.

Highly Recommended. Very professional company
Very professional set up.
From my first conversation with Ellie, who took the time to talk me through the different types of surveys. She took the address of the house I am in the process of buying accessed the house on line and advised I would only need a Level 2.
She checked availability for the following week and confirmed they had 2 slots left for the surveyors in the area I am buying. I paid the fee (which was a lot cheaper than a lot of other companies). Elle confirmed she didn’t know why others charged so much. All L2 RICS surveys follow the same standard. Others charge more for ariel views of the roof which we didn’t need due the Estate Agent pictures of the property.
The survey, completed by Anthony Phelps is first class. Very easy to read and contains everything that I think I need to make decision on the property. Lots of pictures across the whole house, garden, loft etc, backing up all the comments he made. The seller advised that Anthony was there for hours, he was meticulous to the extent the seller thought there were lots of problems. There wasn’t. The sellers described him as a very nice friendly man who also took the time to interact with her young son.
AMS, Anthony is a credit to you, he clearly presented himself in a friendly professional manner to the sellers and produced a comprehensive report for me with in a couple of days of his visit.
If you are wading through the endless companies who offer surveys, I would highly recommend AMS.

Reassurance needed
Contacted AMS as very concerned re the stability of our landing floor following a recent re boarding by a local joiner.Jo was amazing , understood our concerns and arranged an inspection just a few days later . Ian inspected the flooring and reassured us that the floor was structurally sound . Report was prompt and provided us with a number of solutions, Ian has been really helpful , the reassurance was unbelievable. Would recommend them to anyone needing a survey

Faultless
Initally, lower price than most others in the area, didnt know if this was a good or bad sign. buying a nearly new house we went for AMS. the communication, visibility via the online portal and the actual surveyor was fantastic.we were buying a house a few doors down, but in a different city to AMS, the surveyor called around to say it went very well and put our mind at ease. I have since recommended AMS on various online forums. The report was extremely thorough and advised us of some work that will be needed in the near future. If we ever move again i will 100% use AMS again.

We had a really positive experience with the survey. Kim, our surveyor, did an excellent and thorough job on the property. She explained everything clearly, what was okay and what needed attention, and even arranged a call to walk us through every detail with her professional perspective.

A very professional experience from start to finish. Great communication and the survey was carried out within a week once I had instructed them to do so. A detailed 74 page report with photographs was emailed to me soon after. Would highly recommend this company.

Damp and Timber Survey
I had a damp and timber survey carried out on my property as part of selling it. Bobby the surveyor who came out was lovely. He explained everything and took the time to show me what he was doing and to give me the headline results. The report came through promptly and was easy to understand with recommendations of next steps etc. I felt Bobby fully understood the potential issues with an older building (1890s) and I was happy with what was recommended. Bobby was available to talk through some questions I had and clarify a couple of points after I received the report. Overall an excellent experience and I would highly recommend if you need a damp survey.

Faultless service and excellent report.
Very easy to deal with and book a survey. The website was excellent and clearly showed the different surveys available and what they did and did not include. I really liked the fact I could have drone pictures of the roof, it’s made it easy to get a quote for work needed.
I used AMS when I thought I was moving 2 years ago and didn’t bother contacting anyone else this time. They saved me from making a very costly house purchase last time and I would thoroughly recommend them to anyone. Professional, efficient and the extensive report arrived several days before they said it would.

Absolutely brilliant service from start to finish. Had a structural survey carried out on my property after having numerous concerns. Jo in the office was amazing. Very helpful and informative helped to put my mind at ease straight away. Jamie, the surveyor got to me within a week, did a fantastic job looking over my property. Didn’t rush and happily answered every question and worry I had and explained what he was doing and why every step of the way. I received the written report within 5 working days which explained in detail what I should be looking at fixing. Couldn’t ask for a better team.
